A huge compliment to the service and the kitchen! We were there today for lunch with the family and experienced a wonderful atmosphere, friendly and welcoming service, and a truly delicious meal. All the dishes were presented with great care. It was a truly memorable experience, highly recommended, and we will definitely be back.

I was there with my wife, we didn’t like it, we won’t go to this restaurant again, the waitress acted rudely, the fish dish was overcooked and the potatoes were not tasty at all, the service was rude, although we behaved very politely, I don’t recommend this establishment, we won’t go there again

A truly wonderful place with very competent and friendly staff! One meal was 100% top-notch, the other short ribs were a bit dry.

For €18.40 net, there's no such thing as panned fish. And so it turned out – the soft beans were swimming unprofessionally in the mustard sauce [? ], which then spilled onto the soggy fried potatoes. Two pieces of properly fried cod [?] piled on top of everything. My cucumber salad was a mixed bag of emotions. Net €5 – is panned fish subsidized here? I liked the fresh summer beer. The informal "du" wasn't so great. Aiming for upscale dining? Then please address people (Dear Employee) – and not give them a thumbs-up every time they ask. CONCLUSION: The approach is there. Pirna doesn't have another fish restaurant – so why go low budget? In Hamburg, I pay €30 for panned fish – but the quality is better. Just do it better – have the courage. Continued success. A visit to the Schifftor restaurant is like a short vacation by the sea, right in the heart of Pirna! As soon as you enter the restaurant, you're greeted by a maritime ambiance and very friendly and attentive service. The staff is incredibly friendly and anticipates your every need. The fish dishes are a dream and highly recommended. Fresh, perfectly prepared, and simply delicious. To top it all off, we were able to try the buttermilk pancake – a poem! If you're looking for an exceptional restaurant experience in Pirna, with excellent food and friendly service, this is the place for you!

We ate here today on our day trip to Pirna, and it was simply outstanding! The service was very kind and friendly, the ambiance in the courtyard is very inviting, and the food was simply unbelievably delicious and of excellent quality! We had four different fish dishes plus an appetizer, all of which were perfectly prepared, so we really can and should give the kitchen a huge compliment! The prices are also absolutely reasonable, so keep it up! We'll be back!

A full five stars, and absolutely deserved. 👍 Great ambiance (definitely try to get a seat in the courtyard) throughout the restaurant, a fantastic team – super friendly and absolutely attentive – and the fish is truly divine. We had the fish platter for two with four side dishes. We were already stuffed and just wanted a little something for dessert. The "small" scoop of raspberry sorbet was divine. Super delicious, light and creamy, and enough for both of us. We will definitely be happy to come back the next time we visit Pirna.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance on our vacation. There were two of us and we shared the mixed fish platter. The food was excellent, the fish was consistently delicious, and the free-to-choose side dishes were also highly recommended. The service was also excellent, and the staff were very friendly. We'd love to come back!

A very nice restaurant, a bit off the beaten track among the many other restaurants in Pirna. In the entrance area, you're asked for your reservation and shown to your table. We were given a small table near the entrance, presumably because we had a small dog with us. We noticed that almost all the other guests were asked whether they wanted to sit in the courtyard or inside the restaurant. The ambiance is beautifully maritime. The menu immediately attracted us to the fish platter, which was available for two or more people. There were four different types of fish, and you could choose four of eight side dishes. It was very, very tasty and absolutely sufficient for two people. As for drinks, in addition to the usual non-alcoholic drinks, there were various local beers and plenty of wine to choose from. The staff was very attentive and friendly and even looked after our beagle. We would come back anytime!

What can I say? They're simply GREAT! The service is incredibly friendly, and gluten-free food is no problem. In fact, everyone knows what they're doing. We were so impressed that we drove an extra 50 kilometers the next day to eat there again.

I've passed by often over the past few years and now went in for the first time. Everything was perfect. I give the food 5 points because it's not overly seasoned. You can taste what's in it. If you like it a bit more spicy, you can add salt or pepper. The dining room and the courtyard offer a unique ambiance. We'd love to come back. Thank you for a wonderful experience. And by the way, I don't just give 5 stars for nothing.

We ate here on our first evening in Pirna, and I can tell you, it's a must-do when you're in Pirna! It was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was fantastic! The staff were fantastic and super attentive! We treated ourselves to a fish platter for two, which included four fish fillets and a choice of four side dishes! It came with a delicious Störtebeker Nordic Helles beer! I can tell you, I've rarely eaten better! Just make sure you book early, preferably online, as the restaurant is always busy!

A must-visit. The welcome was warm, and it continued until we left the restaurant. The attentive waiter was always present and charmed us with humor without being intrusive. The food, from the appetizer to the dessert, convinced us to return. Kudos also to the kitchen. The skat game.

The reviews were too promising, but the quality wasn't up to expectations. Too expensive for what was on offer. Mustard beans were overcooked and completely tasteless, wild rice was seasoned strangely, not salted, and completely dry. A nasty surprise when I paid: €4.10 for a 0.5 liter of water or soda.
