From the outside the restaurant gives the impression of being in an office building, from the inside it looks very cozy and nicely decorated. Great atmosphere. You can tell that it's supposed to be a higher level of gastronomy. The jackets are taken off straight away at reception, the bar looks classy, ​​the tables are set to a high standard, everything fits. The service was also very attentive and friendly. At the same time, you can also see the whole thing in the price level, which is definitely upscale. As a main course we had, among other things, the Wiener Schnitzel and a rump steak. Both were tasty, the portion of the schnitzel was good, the side dishes could have been more. When it comes to rump steak, you order by the gram, so you know what size you're getting. The rump steak with side dishes cost €54. A proud price that you can pay if the quality is right. That was basically the case, but some of the meat was a bit tougher, which you have to evaluate given the price. The desserts were delicious, the creme brulee was pretty much the best I've ever had. But as you can see from the pictures, the portions were very small. 15€ is just too much for me (even if it is certainly of high quality). Overall we had a nice experience there. The food was good and the surroundings were also impressive. For the price I expect a great experience for full stars. And for the deductions for the meat and the dessert portion, it's only 4 stars. Nevertheless, you can't go wrong here.

I ordered a salad with goat cheese as the main course, the salad tasted really good, but there was only half a goat cheese on the plate and I also had to order bread for €2.50. For a total of €17, the price/performance ratio wasn't right at all. It's a shame, but that's an exclusion criterion for me.

The main course was ok. The desert for me, a chocolate cake, was very dry and I didn't like it at all...

We were there for dinner and had a very good meal! The service is also very attentive.

We ate here at the weekend. Unfortunately, daily restaurant operations were discontinued some time ago, but once a month you can spend a wonderful evening here - if you register in advance. There were three menus on the menu, but you can vary the composition yourself. We liked the food excellently. The ambience is very well maintained, the view of Bad Ems at night is fantastically beautiful and the service is extremely courteous.

The food, service, and atmosphere was amazing. Very intimate and homey feel. Call ahead if you would like gluten free bread 🍞 😉 definitely recommend!

A very good tarte flambée restaurant with a lot of selection, reasonable prices and nice drinks. There are also vegan options. The “Vegetarian Vegan” tarte flambée is highly recommended. Overall, quite recommendable for a nice trip with the family [(or with colleagues, friends, relatives, roommates or other people who are close or not, but it shouldn't be strangers - except on a date!!)]

We chose the Hyatt Mainz to end the evening comfortably after attending a concert. The hotel is beautifully located on the banks of the Rhine, the rooms are very nice, although the shower facilities are perhaps no longer up to date. The highlight was again the excellent breakfast, outside on the terrace with a beautiful view. 1A quality and very varied, the fresh bread is simply world class! Thanks to the entire team for a lovely stay.

Really nice experience and delicious schnitzel in the heart of the old town!

I spontaneously work there with my children on a Sunday evening. Even though we didn't have a reservation, we were allowed to stay on site. The boss offered us a table without any problem. As soon as I sat down, the waitress came and offered my little son things to occupy himself with. (coloring book etc) I have never experienced anything like this before and was therefore pleasantly surprised. Food was more than delicious 😋 we were all thrilled with the food and this unfortunately rare friendliness, especially towards the children. There was really a lot going on and the conditions had to be "raced" but everyone was still very friendly!!!! Recommendation, better reserve. We will definitely eat there more often in the future!!! Great Oh, and where can you get dessert on the house?!!! And additional mixed bags for the kids??!!!
