The tarte flambée is delicious, and a big plus is that they also offer gluten-free options. We were very satisfied with the taste. The prices for the tarte flambée are sometimes quite high and, in our opinion, not always entirely justified. Furthermore, the restaurant is very noisy. Conversation in a larger group is nearly impossible; you can really only talk to the person sitting directly next to you. Nevertheless, a lovely, special restaurant with delicious food 😊

The service was friendly and attentive, which we would like to commend. However, the tarte flambée was unfortunately a complete disappointment and not worth the price. At prices of around €17 per tarte flambée, we expect significantly higher-quality ingredients and, above all, more flavor. It's a very simple dish, where quality and that special something are all the more important. Unfortunately, we have eaten much better tarte flambée before, even at a lower price. We are generally happy to pay for quality, but around €60 for two people for tarte flambée and a side salad with, in our opinion, uninspired ingredients and little flavor, felt unjustified. It's a real shame; we had higher hopes and unfortunately won't be returning.

If you're looking for something special, you'll find it at Kamin – a huge selection of delicious tarte flambée! And for those who can't decide, they even offer mixed tarte flambées… we loved it! Don't forget to make a reservation!!!

We went there with our daughter and son-in-law because we'd heard about the vegan options. We were very curious and weren't disappointed. The portions of the tarte flambée were appropriate for the price. The toppings were delicious. The seating is a bit cramped, but it's cozy. The atmosphere is very inviting. You can really feel comfortable there. We'll definitely go back. Next week, we're going there with some colleagues after we've finished the escape room. It's sure to be a great company outing.

Stupendous flammkuchen. Light and crispy, yet filling. They have English menus and the servers are very friendly. It was pretty busy so we couldn’t always get their attention, but they still checked in which was good. Stopped by on a Thursday night ~20:00 and it was packed, but we still got a table for 3. Only waited 5min for them to clean up a table. We walked in and were greeted by an enticing warm aroma from all the flammkuchen they were rolling out. Food didn’t take long to come out either. Try any of it, you won’t be disappointed. Catch of the day had a generous amount of salmon. Will definitely return! It’s a must try if you’re in the area.

One of the best restaurants I've ever been to. The tarte flambée is incredibly delicious. The portion is generous for a fair price. The atmosphere is cozy and the service is very friendly. Personally, I would highly recommend the "Crab Cutter" (a type of flatbread). But I would definitely visit the restaurant many more times and try the other dishes.

I was curious about the flambé, so I tried it. It's not a Mainz specialty, but rather an Alsatian one, and as the high ratings attest, it was truly delicious. It had a similar taste to pizza, so it was easy to enjoy, and I think it pairs particularly well with Riesling wine. There were a lot of young customers, and the atmosphere was very calm and refined. I was in the Kamin yesterday. The shop itself is very small and cramped. The service was very nice, but unfortunately not service-oriented, as they didn't even ask if I wanted something to drink. The food, my tarte flambée, was a complete disaster, as the floor was completely burnt. Restrooms are available. There's hardly any parking on-site; I recommend parking in the parking garage (above the Tegut supermarket). I didn't think the price-performance ratio was particularly good either!

Personal – direct and extreme. **After I informed the restaurant about the behavior of the people with the child, they even blamed me. There was less than 10 cm between us and this child. That is TOO little. As the owner, I would have seated my guest away from this nuisance or confronted the nuisance and asked them to keep the child in their seat. Unfortunately, the visit was horrific for me and my dog. Another guest had to shake his child upside down 0.3 m away from my dog ​​for several minutes. The child grabbed my dog ​​and frightened him repeatedly. He tried to hide with my help, but even then he was still harassed.
