We were very satisfied. The selection was ample, the breakfast delicious, and the view fantastic. The service was very friendly and quick.

We went there for coffee on Sunday afternoon with a group of eight. Perfect. The staff were even friendly to the children. That's not always the case. Great place. Go there.

It looks a bit like something from the 70s and is very cozy! The service was incredibly attentive; they understood why I ordered hot chocolate and espresso and immediately asked if I wanted both in one cup :) The scrambled eggs were creamy, the carrot cake moist, and the atmosphere nice and quiet – perfect for chatting! We'll be back!

We had a fantastic Christmas brunch with 7 adults and 2 children at Goldmarie. It was truly wonderful and in a great location. Young and old alike were delighted. This year there was even a mulled wine station and fruit punch for the children. That was a big hit, and we loved and thoroughly enjoyed everything. The service was so great – attentive, friendly, courteous, and fun. It was really lovely, and we'll be back next year for Christmas brunch, and of course, we'll come again anytime in between. Goldmarie perfectly captures the vibe of the Zollhafen (Customs Harbor) and does the place justice. The price is justified by the ambiance and quality, yet still leaves room for a spontaneous "drive-by" for a wine spritzer in the sunshine. The staff is attentive and friendly, even on different days of the week. The Zollhafen needs more places like this to truly flourish.

We had a fantastic experience at Goldmarie Mainz for our office Christmas event! The atmosphere is wonderful—stylish yet cozy—making it the perfect spot for both professional events and private gatherings. The kitchen is excellent; every dish was prepared with care and tasted amazing. A special shout-out to the staff, who were incredibly attentive, professional, and welcoming throughout the entire evening. The location is also top-notch! We highly recommend Goldmarie to anyone looking for great food and a warm, vibrant atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

We went there for brunch on a Saturday. The table buffet (a selection of dishes served directly at the table) is a great idea. The food was delicious. The cappuccino was fantastic. The ambiance is more stylish than cozy – but overall very fitting for the location. The price is steep (€82 for a vegan brunch plus drinks for two people; salmon or sausage would have cost an additional €7 per person), but reasonable: you can order more of any of the dishes.

I'd say the food is almost Michelin-star quality! Especially the vegan main course for lunch today. I practically scraped the delicious beurre blanc off the plate with an espresso spoon. The Savoy cabbage rolls were amazing. I've always experienced top-notch cuisine at other times of day as well. The service was equally excellent. Thank you and keep up the good work! :-)

We were a group of six for tapas breakfast at Goldmarie and were very satisfied. The tapas were all delicious and beautifully presented. The staff was incredibly friendly and we could order more whenever we wanted. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

Good food, good service, neat place, small portions. I went for lunch with a few friends and overall its a great place to eat, just not if you are very hungry. I ate the meatball with oven potatoes and salad (16€). The food was very tasty, I just wished i had more to eat… I ordered a boiled egg to bolster my meal (2.5€). Everything at this restaurant is either Bio, grass-fed, vegan or whatever label you want to put in order to make food more expensive. The service is excelent from the waiters and the environment is relaxing and clean.

We went there for brunch over the weekend – the vegetarian breakfast is served at the table, is high-quality, beautifully presented, and clearly stands out from typical breakfast spots. A particularly nice touch: everything is available to order again, even water, at no extra charge. If you like, you can add sausage, ham, or salmon for an additional fee. In the afternoon, we enjoyed a wonderfully frothy gin and basil cocktail – creative and refreshing. The young, very friendly, and attentive staff deserves special mention: always smiling, well-organized, and absolutely service-oriented. You feel completely welcome and exceptionally well taken care of. A definite recommendation for anyone looking for an upscale breakfast experience in a modern setting with top-notch service on the weekend.

The food was really great. The service was a bit slow at first, and we were a little worried about the two-hour waiting time. But it was perfectly sufficient. We'd gladly come back.

Positive: The service was polite; the breakfast menu with fried potatoes and baked apple and the salad with buffalo mozzarella is highly recommended. Contrary: Poor parking, completely exorbitant pricing, and a noise level that made it hard to hear your own voice. Breakfast is prepared well in advance, which means that, for example, the cheese is quite dry. When you were asked if everything was okay, you always had something to eat in your mouth.

Creative events also take place regularly. The homemade lemonades are highly recommended!

A great location right by the Zollhafen harbor with an impressive, seasonal menu. The dishes are lovingly prepared. You can tell the entire team puts their heart and soul into their work. The brunch is highly recommended, but you have to make a reservation in advance, as it's often fully booked. But Goldmarie is also always worth a visit to simply relax for an hour with a great drink (all available in non-alcoholic versions!).

A top-notch, favorite spot unlike any Mainz has ever had. And with that, the rare opportunity to enjoy a sundowner by the water. A small, changing menu includes very creative cold snacks and delicious warm dishes with a twist. For me, every visit is a journey of discovery into a culinary philosophy that uses only fresh ingredients, is based on local producers, and also has something to offer vegetarians and vegans. The regionally influenced wine list offers surprises beyond the "usual suspects" from Rheinhessen. The bar also offers plenty of surprises, including homemade infusions, lemonades, cocktails, and a top-notch espresso.

We celebrated our small wedding (about 20 people) at Goldmarie. Everything was perfect, just as it was. The communication/preparation and the subsequent celebration went as planned. The service deserves special mention. Always attentive, always courteous, and the entire team was extremely friendly. The drinks and brunch were, as usual, delicious and varied. The ambiance is also great, whether indoors or outdoors. The price-performance ratio is very fair for the selection and quality offered. We can definitely recommend Goldmarie, whether for "normal" business or for a special occasion. So, once again, a big thank you to Goldmarie.

I had dinner there before, and it was really good. Unfortunately, they've changed the menu, and there's not much variety now. For lunch, we could only order slices of cake (the available options didn't suit our preferences). We ordered drinks, and they arrived. After half an hour, the cake hadn't arrived. The other tables were served. I find this more than regrettable. The prices are relatively high.

We went to Goldmarie for brunch on Sunday and had the breakfast tapas. The interior is very nice and stylish, and the view is beautiful. Unfortunately, the breakfast didn't impress us, as it was absolutely not good value for money. We spent €120 for brunch for three people, which is simply too much. Sausage and salmon have to be paid extra per plate, which I can't understand considering the base price is €30 per person. I'm happy to pay a little more for my food, but then you expect something special (a bit of fruit, etc.). I would come back for coffee, but not for breakfast.

We had a very good brunch – delicious food and a super stylish location. However, we didn't think the €15 charge for our toddler (under 3 years old) was justified, as he barely ate anything. A more affordable pricing model for families would be desirable. Otherwise, highly recommended.

Good and friendly service. Nice location. Prices are a bit high, though. 4.50 euros for a slice of cake (the taste was okay, the size was normal). Marie's slice was very tasty, but at 11 euros, it was also expensive. If the prices were lower, we would come back, but not really.

A truly unusual concept leads to a truly fantastic breakfast/brunch. Many of the components you'd find at a classic breakfast aren't available here, but there are plenty of small dishes, just like you'd find at a tapas bar. And what makes this such an exceptionally good breakfast are the qualities of the individual components: wonderful gourmet-quality cheese, eggs, bread and butter from select top-notch suppliers, fresh fruit and vegetables – everything is perfect. The Egg Florentine and Burrata are fantastic. And you can order more of everything. Definitely not a cheap breakfast, but absolutely affordable.

Very tasty, fresh food! The service was very friendly and attentive. We sat outside and the view of the boats really gave us a holiday feeling. The interior design even received the German Design Award and is truly a feast for the eyes. Great recommendation!

It was a pleasant and relaxed morning in a stylishly furnished modern bistro. The name bistro doesn't do the location justice. We had a tasty, delicious brunch. It was served in small bowls at the table. A flying brunch, so to speak. The design of the individual dishes was very appealing and appetizing. Each bowl was briefly explained by the courteous staff. We were always asked about our wishes, but without being intrusive.

Absolute recommendation for breakfast and brunch. Super tasty and great selection. Insanely beautiful location, whether inside or outside. And also great and easy if you eat gluten-free. Absolute praise!!

70s-style, cold, very spartan dishes, e.g., coffee mugs (too hot to touch and without saucers). Immediately stained the table. Italian salami suitable for cooking, but far too spicy to eat as is. Unusual breakfast items, like buffalo mozzarella, fig jam, etc. Not everyone likes them. I won't go there for breakfast again. The view of the marina is very nice.

Unfortunately you don't get served, this has happened 3 times in a row now that I'm sitting there and after 30 minutes no one comes. So far I've only been able to order there once, and the hot Marie was definitely recommended. Otherwise the prices are very overpriced.

We had Sunday Brunch. Staffs were super friendly. Some of the order came little slow. Nevertheless we were happy with the food quality and presentation. For my opinion 30€ per person should be included coffee and the non veg options like salmon and prosciutto. It is also lack of fresh fruits option. The sweet dish can be offered in the end as we didn’t really enjoy their option on that day. I think they have quark and crumble. I prefer fresh fruits or cake of the day so they don’t have to waste the cups of their sweet dish for our table. More of egg varieties. The room temperature with the sun coming through the glass windows can be very warm (at 1-3pm in February), a better air circulation is nice. Overall it is a nice place with good food quality.

We went here for breakfast for the first time. There is a nice selection of dips & “side dishes” to go with a bread basket. Everything tasted delicious and came to the table quickly (we were there during the week). The service was friendly and accommodating. You sit in a lovely atmosphere, especially when the sun shines through the large window front.

The coffee was delicious and you can choose whether cow, oat or soy milk. The audience was predominantly female and very mixed in terms of age and style. A beautiful location in the new development area of ​​the customs port. The atmosphere is slightly reminiscent of a cafeteria and it is quite loud. When the sun is shining, you sit indoors facing the sun due to the huge glazing. Otherwise there is a great selection of breakfast options. The service is nice and sufficient. We didn't eat anything. We've only been there once. I will adjust the rating after my 3rd visit.

I've been here several times. The brunch is super delicious and even when it's full, you never have to wait long for your order. The brunch is varied and vegetarian by default. You can order salmon or prosciutto separately for an additional €6. There is a small star deduction for the food because it would be great if there was also a vegan brunch option. The service is always very friendly and the atmosphere, right at the winter harbor, is simply beautiful. The furnishings are very stylish and perfectly coordinated.

My absolute favorite place in Mainz! There isn't much choice in the evening menu, but what there is tastes amazing. Gluten-free and vegan alternatives, everything served with love and the waiters are very nice. If the Amex payment is implemented soon...a 10/10!!

The atmosphere in the café is unique in Mainz. If you like modern design and delicious coffee, this is the place for you. The menu is seasonal and regional and tastes fantastic. Art was also on display during our visit. The waitresses were very friendly and we will definitely come back!

It is not a place where there is much variety of food. Something overpriced due to the hysterical decoration of the site. We asked to close the windows and they didn't so we were a bit cold (it was 4 degrees outside).

Super nice and attentive staff, great food, there's something for everyone. Both vegetarians and meat/seafood eaters will find what they are looking for here. For me, the linguini with shrimp and parmesan was extremely delicious 😋🤤. You can spend many wonderful hours there. I was also given the opportunity to connect my oxygen device to a socket to charge it, it is not common practice for people with physical disabilities to be taken into account or even integrated into "normal" life, for which I would like to thank the wonderful team at Goldmarie 🤗.
