On a recent Saturday evening my father and I were the only dining guests, which stroke us as weird. The food was quite good and the owner was friendly and helpful but the overall experience was poor. This was due to a bunch of local, football watching and very loud guys in the same outfit. On top of that, their women came in with the kids, creating an ambiance which can best be described as a combination of a sports bar and a kindergarten. Other guests, having a quiet drink at the bar, said something about this lack of manners, which immediately almost resulted in a fight. The owner should have handled this in a better way. If I had been a local, this would have definately been my last visit. Not because of the food, but due to the group of tipsy guys who only feit strong because of their numbers (and weight).

Hallo, wir waren heute am 21.04.2025 Ostermontag "Zum Dumeklemmer" Essen! Ich hatte Schnitzel in Pfeffersoße mit Bratkartoffeln und Salat. Das Essen kam mir zu schnell, es sah nett aus, aber beim ersten Schnitt im Schnitzel mußte ich sehr arbeiten es war sehr fest, als ich endlich ein Stück abgeschnitten habe sah ich das da mehr Paniermehl als Fleisch an der Gabel war, das Stück Fleisch war sehr trocken und schmeckte mehr nach Paniermehl da dieser Geschmack sehr stark durch kam, auch leicht nach Fritteuse, beim kauen, die Pfeffersoße hatte keinen Eigengeschmack man konnte nichts davon rausschmecken. Die Soße war etwas zu dickflüssig und hat nach nichts geschmeckt. Das Fleisch war ca. 4mm dick wen überhaupt, dafür genug mit Paniermehl ummantelt, die Bratkartoffeln waren leicht angebrannt und etwas fettig, der Salat war frisch darüber konnte man nicht meckern.

Food was top! Service was nice but not on point!

We ordered at 11 a.m. and after an hour of waiting, still nothing came. Since we had a lot of time to talk to the table next to us, we found out that they had been waiting for their breakfast for 1.5 hours.

Today I visited the swimming pool in Ratingen Lintorf with my grandson. When we got hungry, we ate something in the local restaurant. The staff was very nice and friendly, my grandson got a children's box. I ate a very freshly prepared salad with chicken. Everything was very tasty and nicely prepared. The prices were normal. Here in Krefeld it is not cheaper but nowhere near as fresh and tasty as here. We'll definitely come back again.

I can't give any stars for the ambience when I order online. Because I'm not in the store. So supplier very good. Food...pizza very tasty.but... The fries for 3.00 euros plus sauce 50 cents. I can't recommend it. Sorry even if your pizza is good. Your fries taste like they were in the fryer. It was warmed up again and was already fried. Sorry good pizza. Bad fries. And according to the internet posts. Will report that you have your fries. Warmed up again. Just eat fresh fries and don't reheat them. Anyone who loves and likes fries will recognize the taste.

about a restaurant visit on May 11, 2025 Ladies and Gentlemen I was a guest in your restaurant today with three colleagues. We regret to inform you that our visit was very disappointing. The food was of poor quality in several cases: some dishes were far too hard, the rice was not cooked properly and overall the taste was disappointing. Two of my colleagues even complained of stomach pain after eating, which further worries us. We reported our complaints to the staff directly on site, but we were not offered a solution. Instead we were asked to pay full price - despite the obvious defects. A visit to a restaurant should be a positive experience. Unfortunately that wasn't the case for us. We therefore ask you to take this incident seriously in order to improve the quality of your food and the handling of customer complaints in the future. Best regards

The three of us had dinner in the hotel restaurant in the evening and ordered a wok pan with coconut curry sauce. The food was way too spicy. There was no mention on the menu that this sauce was spicy. My partner ordered schnitzel, the schnitzel was very heavily breaded. The food was far too expensive for this dish. In the morning the breakfast buffet was very good, my daughter was allowed to make rolls for her plane ride and we were also given aluminum foil.
