The three of us ate dinner at the hotel restaurant in the evening and ordered a stir-fry with coconut curry sauce. The food was far too spicy. The menu didn't indicate that the sauce was spicy. My partner ordered schnitzel, which was heavily breaded. The food was far too expensive for that dish. In the morning, the breakfast buffet was very good. My daughter was allowed to make sandwiches for her flight, and we were even given aluminum foil.

Unfortunately, the food and drinks were very overpriced compared to the room rate. Breakfast was excellent on the first day, but on the second day, omelets, beans, etc., were all missing.

Ristorante dell'hotel Tryp. Direi proprio nella media: si mangia abbastanza bene senza pecche ma neppure senza picchi. Servizio cortese, costo anche nella media.

The ambiance is very chilly. You sit in a large, tiled room with no cozy elements, which serves as a breakfast room in the morning. The food was okay, but at around €19.00 for a wok dish (as in my case), it wasn't exactly good value. My biggest disappointment was the price of a glass of wine. There were no wines listed on the menu. So I asked for a glass of a dry white wine by the glass without explicitly asking for the price. The waiter simply asked, "Chardonnay?" I said, "Okay." I then drank two 0.2-liter glasses of mediocre Chardonnay and later discovered on the bill that one glass was charged at €9.00! In my opinion, the waiter could have actively pointed this out beforehand. If a glass of wine by the glass costs around €4.60 these days, I wouldn't necessarily expect that kind of price to be charged in a hotel restaurant in a desolate industrial park. I'm sure they would have had another dry white wine at the usual price, perhaps a Pinot Grigio, but that simply wasn't offered to me. But that was ultimately my own fault, because "if you don't ask, you'll stay stupid." You shouldn't just blindly rely on the fairness and advice of a waiter...

Die Karte die mir gezeigt wurde beschränkt sich auf 3 Gerichte. Ich wählte das Rip-Eye auf dem heissen Stein. Dazu Pfannengemüse und Pommes. Die Qualität des Essens war sehr gut. Nur eines sollte man ins Auge fassen. Wenn ich Speisen auf dem heissen Stein anbietet und serviert wäre eine kleine Schürze zur Schonung der Kleidung des Gastes ratsam (Fettspritzer vom Stein) Der Service war schnell, freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Ho mangiato spesso in questo ristorante frequentando da anni l'albergo. Da quando la struttura è diventata di proprietà della catena Tryp il livello dell'albergo e del ristorante sono scesi....

We're fans of Indian food and have tried quite a few. We've never had such bad Indian food before. The chicken in all three different dishes was dry and rock hard, and two different types of naan were so burnt that they tasted primarily of ash. The sauces were okay, and so was the rice. But unfortunately, that wasn't enough to save it.

Wunderschönes Ambiente,wir haben uns wie im Urlaub gefühlt,die Mitarbeiter sind superfreundlich und das Essen war hervorragend. Frische Zutaten a la Minute zubereitet. Wir kommen gerne wieder

The restaurant has a lovely ambiance – I'll give it that. However, what I absolutely didn't like was the deafening noise level. You practically had to shout to have a conversation. I also found it odd that the staff used the informal "du" form of address without asking. The menu was very limited and could fit on a single sheet of A4 paper. The prices are also on the high end: the roast goose breast cost €35, and the baked apple had to be ordered separately – and even then, it was only a half portion. The clientele is also rather unusual; the restaurant is increasingly becoming a kind of trendy hotspot. If that's your thing, you might feel at home there – but I certainly didn't.

A cult village pub with genuine charm and a warm atmosphere 😁 An absolute must: the "anti-wellness schnitzel" with hollandaise and jalapenos—sooo delicious!
