Restaurant Quecke in Ratingen

Wunderschönes Ambiente,wir haben uns wie im Urlaub gefühlt,die Mitarbeiter sind superfreundlich und das Essen war hervorragend. Frische Zutaten a la Minute zubereitet. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Wegens overnachting voor een vroege vlucht, heb ik de avond tevoren in Quecke Restaurant gegeten. Vriendelijke vlotte bediening, maar het eten is niet top. De Wildbouillon had weinig smaak ( bouillonblokje?). De eendeborst was goed van smaak, maar niet bijzonder. Aardige garnituur, beetje standaard. Geen slecht restaurant, maar gemiddeld. Het restaurant bevindt zich in het Mercure hotel.

Pratique pour manger dans l’hôtel mais peu de choix et sans rien a signaler. Service avec le sourire en option et très long. Le rapport qualité/prix n’est pas top, cher pour ce que c’est.

Clean, smart, short menu, calm but energetic

Il ristorante si trova all'interno dell'hotel Mercure Airport. Locale piacevole, stile moderno e minimale, con tavoli anche all'esterno, siamo arrivati stanchi dal viaggio e la prima sera abbiamo deciso di cenare qui. Molto buono il bulgur con le verdure, poco soddisfatti invece i miei commensali delle loro entrecote, in effetti decisamente piuttosto grasse e "tirone", si vedeva chiaramente anche al solo guardarle. Conto nella norma, servizio un po' disordinato e molto molto lento, avremo atteso almeno 40 minuti prima di poter mangiare, almeno il personale si è sempre mostrato molto gentile e cordiale.

Insgesamt waren wir mit dem Restaurant sehr zufrieden. Schade nur, dass der Beilagensalat so stark mit Dressing überzogen war. Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung.

This Mercure restaurant could have easily get 5 starts for the quality of the food, but - it gets SO boring after spending more than a few weeks around (I was there for approx 7 months on and off) since the menu never changes and doesn't offer so many dishes. They used to have Schnizel but then they cancelled it. They have 2 types of steaks - good ones but obviously you can't have it every day. For starters they've got carpaccio and soup. Two or three types of pasta - one had too much cheese cooked within it and the other was good. They also have fish (very good) and chicken (quite nice). I don't eat hamburgers at night so that's half a menu less for me. They used to have spare ribs but they stopped serving it. Only two types of salads which I personally did not like. Service is always very slow. In the past they used to have a couple of great guys (Christian and Daniel) which were efficient and quick but then the staff changed and service became slow again. Also - the hotel is always packed (being an airport hotel) and it's often difficult to get a table - which is why you have to reserve a table. During the summer the hotel is offering deals to family with kids who attend the nearby theme part and then the restaurant become even more crowded. Nevertheless the food that I did have there was always in good quality, fresh, looked good (see pics) and always tasty.

Auf einer Dienstreise habe ich hier die schwarzen Nudeln mit Meeresfrüchten gegessen. Meeresfrüchte waren nicht so üppig, ein paar Schrimps und etwas Tintenfischringe. Nur die Nudeln habe ich nicht verstanden. Diese waren hell und es gab eine schwarze Sauce, die nicht schlecht aber auch nicht so lecker war. So etwas habe ich noch nirgends bekommen. Scheinbar hat der Koch ein "Spezialrezept". Definitiv nichts für mich.

We had a very nice dinner here, great combination of fresh products. The waiters were especially attentive to our 2 years old, who got to go with them to the kitchen to get some free ice cream. Very pleasant experience!

Ich habe eine Penne all’arrabbiata gegessen. Die Fleischeinlage war sehr zäh. Leider war diese in Öl getränkt. Für 14€ Euro erwarte ich bessere Qualität. Das Gericht war allerdings perfekt angerichtet. Wenigstens das ist gut. Bitte mal den Koch austauschen. Oder zur Kochschule schicken.

Beau restaurant de chaîne d'hôtel. Menu limité et prix assez élevés mais, par contre, proposition de menus régionaux à un prix raisonnable. Service agréable et rapide.

We had nice schnitzel and beer. Desert icecream or sorbet was also tasty. Friendly service. Nice to sit outside in the sunshine (and watch airplanes flying over).

The spaghetti was bland and tasteless. A bit expensive.

The restaurant is part of Mercure hotel. Steaks, burgers, salads, fish, pasta. Typical international fayre. The steaks were actually tasty and very well cooked and tender - they were just a bit on the small side. The restaurant food can also be eaten in the adjoining bar (with Sky Sports) if the restaurant is full. No traditional German food.

Wie schon in der Hotelkritik geschrieben: nicht zu große Karte - Vorspeisen, Zwischengänge, Hauptspeisen, Dessert. Das ist alles stimmig, schmeckt und ist noch preiswert. Max 25 Euro für eine Hauptspeise. Das ist OK, Nettes Ambiente in gedämpften Licht aber nicht schummrig. Sehr schneller freundlicher Service. Speisen immer richtig in der Temperatur! Typisch für MERCURE: sehr gute Weine!
