Trainee Wix__ We wanted to treat ourselves to something special for an occasion. From previous visits, we remembered the very high standards; the rolls were served by the waiter wearing white gloves. The head waiter (a real old school guy) had his eyes everywhere and everything under control. The restaurant was an institution in the area. Upon our arrival, we saw the banner above the entrance announcing new management and were intrigued. We noticed that the usual standards were no longer met, even from the staff's clothing. This continued when we opened the wine bottle. Completely unprofessional. A high-quality ingredient was omitted from the appetizer and replaced with cocktail tomatoes. The main course was okay, but nothing memorable. Gangsta rap was playing in the background. The ladies at the next table also complained about it when paying, saying it was inappropriate and the bass was far too loud. The volume was then turned down. What happened next is hard to believe. There appears to be a system with a microphone in the kitchen that's connected to the dining room. A disrespectful kitchen worker then shouted, "Trainee Wich+++, come to the sink." He did this three times, loudly and audibly. We practically froze. I then asked the service employee over and told him my opinion about the lack of quality and standard. And how that affected us. The lowest of the low. Yes, there's a rough tone in the kitchen, was his explanation. He was sorry. When we then ordered the bill, the icing on the cake came. The bill that was presented to us was an interim receipt without a TSE code. In our entire life as a couple, we've only left a tip three times. It's self-explanatory when the third time was, right? By the way, today was our 46th wedding anniversary, unforgettable.

The food is very tasty. The schnitzel with fresh chanterelles was delicious. The ambiance is rustic and authentic.

We celebrated our birthday with brunch at the restaurant on Sunday with 30 people and were absolutely thrilled. The reservation agent was extremely accommodating and friendly right from the reservation stage, which continued throughout every interaction with everyone in the hotel and restaurant. Despite the high workload, the staff were friendly and attentive. The hotel and restaurant are very charming and feature modern, elegant, and chic decor. We had a wonderful three hours there, and the food was fantastic. A varied and delicious brunch. A highlight for the children was the little "pizza corner." There, the children could create their own pizzas. Top-notch service, top-notch food, top-notch ambiance! We'll definitely be back.
