Avoid this place. It used to be nice, but it no longer lives up to expectations. The service is rather untrained. Plates are passed across the table even when there's plenty of room. A request for a digestif menu was denied. Bottles were held right in front of our faces. The drinks were served in a cheap shot glass, which the other server then tipped over into another glass. The mustard roast beef was okay, but the fried potatoes were lukewarm and soggy. The trout tartare appetizer was okay, but very cold. The beer was flat. It was replaced without any fuss. But why was a 0.5-liter glass served without being asked? Outrageous! In the end, it cost €71.60 for one person. For the mediocre quality and below-average service, that's definitely far too much. I haven't left a tip in a long time. You can spend your money much better at other restaurants. Hotel guests, however, have almost no other choice, as there's only one Chinese restaurant nearby.

The restaurant has a lovely ambiance – I'll give it that. However, what I absolutely didn't like was the deafening noise level. You practically had to shout to have a conversation. I also found it odd that the staff used the informal "du" form of address without asking. The menu was very limited and could fit on a single sheet of A4 paper. The prices are also on the high end: the roast goose breast cost €35, and the baked apple had to be ordered separately – and even then, it was only a half portion. The clientele is also rather unusual; the restaurant is increasingly becoming a kind of trendy hotspot. If that's your thing, you might feel at home there – but I certainly didn't.
