I was here recently and can only say it was a great experience! From the moment you entered the restaurant, you felt welcome; the ambiance was cozy and modern at the same time. The service was very friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home.
The food was simply outstanding! I had a cheeseburger pizza and a chicken burger; both were freshly prepared, tasted impeccable, and seasoned to perfection. I particularly liked the attention to detail that went into each dish. The portion sizes were also generous and definitely offered good value for money.
Another highlight was the drinks menu – a nice selection of local and international wines, as well as creative cocktails.
The wait time was minimal, and the restaurant was very well organized overall, which created a pleasant atmosphere. All in all, it was a thoroughly enjoyable visit, and I will definitely return.
A clear recommendation for anyone who wants to enjoy good food in a pleasant environment!
Abugoku is definitely worth a visit.😉😊
After two visits to the Weißenburg, it's clear that it's worth stopping by more often. Whether it's potato salad with lamb meatballs, tortilla, tarte flambée, or the sometimes unusual draft beers, a visit is worthwhile, as is the friendly service.
Absolutely disappointing! We waited in the cold for almost an hour today, even though initially when I asked alone, as a female, I was told that it would be my turn in 15 minutes at the latest. But as soon as the staff saw that males had joined my group, the statement suddenly changed drastically. Suddenly there was no longer any mention of the 15 minutes and we were pushed further and further back. It seemed as if my request as an individual had not been taken seriously and as if we had only been properly “evaluated” when the entire group was visible. This obvious unequal treatment is more than disappointing!
The entire system is disorganized and unfair. There is no possibility of reservation, but it was noticeable that women's groups were given priority, while mixed groups had a much more difficult time. Additionally, queuing is not done in order: a table of four became free, but the group in front of us (five) was ignored instead of simply adding an extra chair. Instead, someone else was moved forward from the line, while everyone who had been waiting for a long time was passed over.
What's particularly annoying is that we drove a long way just to end up standing in the cold for absolutely nothing. After so much chaos and injustice, we finally felt it was too stupid to wait any longer. Everyone makes different promises here, and in the end you wait completely unnecessarily. A fair and transparent organization looks different! We're definitely not coming back.
For me one of the best Italian restaurants in Cologne. Inconspicuous, it may look like a snack bar from the outside, but the food is carefully and lovingly prepared and very, very tasty! From the avocado salad with sun-dried tomatoes and the bruschetta to the extremely delicious pasta (our favorites are arrabiata, primavera, scampi and, seasonally, the one with wild boar ragout 👌) and the pizzas to the basically perfect tiramisu, everything is just right. The price is cheap and to be honest it's almost too cheap for the quality you get - just a great shop!
