My stay at Fletcher Waldhotel Nordrhein-Westfalen was absolutely perfect! From the moment I walked in, I immediately felt welcome. The staff is incredibly friendly, professional and attentive, and ensures that you lack nothing. The service is truly of top quality. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean and equipped with all amenities. The bed was wonderful and I enjoyed a great night's sleep. The interior exudes a warm and modern atmosphere, which immediately gave a feeling of relaxation. The restaurant was also fantastic! The breakfast was very extensive with fresh products and delicious coffee. The dinner was of culinary excellence - compliments to the chef! The location of the hotel is truly beautiful, surrounded by the peace and nature of North Rhine-Westphalia. It is an ideal place to relax or to enjoy the many walking and cycling routes in the area. The atmosphere around the hotel is calm and soothing, perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of everyday life. In short, Fletcher Waldhotel Nordrhein-Westfalen exceeded my expectations. This hotel is highly recommended and I will definitely return here. Everything was taken care of down to the last detail. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

We have known the restaurant for years. Was rebuilt or renovated quite nicely. The service is top and very friendly. There are a lot of different offerings on the menu. (Lots of Greek) Parking is limited.

Unfortunately, this restaurant does not charge correctly. When I visited with my partner about a year ago, the beer cost €1.60. The son stood behind the counter, was very friendly and billed correctly. When we visited 4 weeks later, the beer suddenly cost €1.70. OK no problem. This time the father was behind the counter. He was also basically very friendly. We drank 7 beers, wanted to pay, since I had already calculated what I had to pay (1.60×7), I put €12.00 aside because I would have had to pay €11.20. I would have given the rest of €0.80 as a tip. But the landlord asked for €14.20. When I pointed out that it wasn't correct, he became very embarrassed and said, yes, well then €11.20. I put €12.00 on the counter but didn't want to give a tip because I was annoyed. He took the money but didn't even think about giving me change. I had the audacity to just put the tip in my pocket that I didn't even want to give. We avoided this restaurant for a year, but wanted to give the owner another chance and went there again yesterday. This time a dark-skinned young, very friendly lady served us. But because there were problems with the slot machine, she called the boss, who also explained the slot machine to us. This time the beer cost €1.80. Great, we thought, another price increase. If you drank 7 beers again, you would have had to pay €12.60. But the landlord charged us €14.60. I asked again about the beer price. He said €1.80. I told him that he hadn't calculated correctly, he was suddenly very embarrassed and turned away from us and then said, OK, €12.60. This time too, the €13.00 that had already been calculated and placed on the counter disappeared into his cash register without us receiving any change. We didn't say that the €13.00 would be okay. Sorry, you can make a mistake, we're all just human. But according to the landlord, who says he has been working in the catering industry for tens of years, situations like this shouldn't happen on a regular basis. As a guest, I feel really cheated. I don't even want to think about how much more guests in this restaurant unintentionally paid. We no longer have the slightest trust in this landlord and will no longer enter this restaurant. And to the other guests, please be careful and always keep an eye on your lid.
