Unfortunately, this restaurant does not charge correctly. When I visited with my partner about a year ago, a beer cost €1.60. The son was behind the bar, was very friendly, and also charged correctly. When we visited four weeks later, the beer suddenly cost €1.70. OK, no problem. This time the father was behind the bar. He was also really friendly. We drank seven beers and wanted to pay. Since I had already worked out how much I would have to pay (€1.60 x €7), I put €12.00 aside because I should have paid €11.20. I would have given the remaining €0.80 as a tip. But the landlord demanded €14.20. When I pointed out that this was not correct, he became very embarrassed and said, "Okay, then €11.20." I put €12.00 on the counter, but out of annoyance, I didn't want to tip. He took the money but didn't even think about giving me the change. It was pretty audacious to just pocket the tip I didn't even want to give. We've avoided this place for a year, but wanted to give the owner another chance and went back yesterday. This time, we were served by a very friendly, young, dark-skinned woman. Because there were problems with the slot machine, she called the manager, who also explained the slot machine to us. This time, the beer cost €1.80. Great, we thought, another price increase. With another seven beers, the price would have been €12.60. But the owner charged us €14.60. I asked again about the price of the beer. He said €1.80. I told him he hadn't calculated correctly. He suddenly became very embarrassed and turned away from us, then said, "Okay, €12.60." This time, too, the €13.00 that had already been calculated and placed on the counter disappeared into his cash register without us receiving any change. We didn't say that €13.00 was okay. Sorry, mistakes can happen; we're all only human. But according to the landlord, who claims to have worked in the restaurant industry for decades, such situations shouldn't be happening on a regular basis. As a guest, I feel downright cheated. I don't even want to think about how many guests in this restaurant have involuntarily paid more. We no longer have the slightest trust in this landlord and will not enter this establishment again. And to the other guests, please be careful and always keep an eye on your wallet. It's sad that today, especially in these difficult times, guests who actually come because they want to have a nice evening and to support the host are still treated like this. What a shame, what a shame, what a shame.

A dated but cozy pub with great deals and snacks that you can order on top, like tarte flambée. Excellent service and great waitress service. (You don't have to wait for your next drink.)

No cozy atmosphere, the landlord is very pushy, toilets not clean, waitresses only busy with cell phones.

Zero stars would be appropriate, the store is extremely dirty, drinks are stale, frozen pizza is still cold inside, and he thinks he's the staff pimp.

Nice pub when events are really good and there's a lot going on, with a DJ etc... But maybe it should be made a little more modern...😉 Boss and staff absolutely nice,...

Meine Lieblingsgaststätte. Netter Ladeninhaber. Nette Bedienung. Event's mit Guter Musik oder Dj. Spielautomaten und Dartscheibe Vorhanden.

Wir haben Silvester dort gefeiert, es war klasse. Das Essen war super und es war eine super Stimmung

, in heiligenhaus gibt's leider gar nichts mehr wo Alt und Jung hingehen können miteinander gemütlich auch ein Bierchen trinken können ist für mich weil ich auch eine Gast von Gaststätte Bürgerhaus bin die Preise sind okay der Chef und die Chefin sind auch total nett freut mich der DJ der immer da Musik macht auch sehr nette junge Mann die gäste sind sehr sympathisch ist eine super Atmosphäre wenn man Hunger hat kriegt mal zwischendurch was zu essen du hast Cocktails da ich kann euch den Laden nur empfehlen
