After a bike ride, sitting comfortably outside in the beer garden by the Rhine with a cool drink is simply lovely. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Furthermore, the glass parapet provides excellent wind protection, making it a very pleasant place to stay even when it's windy.

Lots of choice on the menus, very tasty food! The dishes come quickly. We really enjoy coming here.

Stratos has declined considerably. We wondered if the boss himself ever tries the food served by the really friendly staff. Gyro salad: looks great, tastes terrible. The yogurt sauce isn't tasty, and the whole thing is completely ruined by the sour coleslaw. The meat was extremely poorly cut, dry, and far from tasty. Unfortunately, none of the quality remains from the past. There's simply no competition here in Zons. I won't be back. It's a shame, because the food used to be really delicious here.

Very charming little hotel in the old town, right on the city wall. Passions, there is no restaurant business anymore. But there are nice restaurants all around. The rooms are lovingly furnished, delicious breakfast. We'd love to come back.

Unfortunately, our first visit to the Fährhaus Zons was very disappointing. During our meal, an unpleasant incident occurred – a hair on the plate, or rather, on my schnitzel. Instead of an apology, the staff simply responded with a disinterested "Oh!" – which was quite disappointing. I was asked if I wanted something else – of course I did, after all, we were there to eat with friends... The second disappointment came with the bill: For a small bowl of mayo or ketchup (estimated at about 3 tablespoons), we were charged €1.50 each – the same for mustard. This pricing is truly unreasonable and unfortunately seems simply outrageous! The restaurant's location directly on the Rhine is truly beautiful, but given our overall experience, we won't be eating there again in the future. It's a real shame – we were looking forward to a pleasant afternoon.

A full 4 points for the food. It was exceptionally delicious, except for my salad being a bit sandy, but everything else tasted absolutely excellent. The location and the ambiance are also very appealing. BUT the staff and the service were awful. The staff were constantly bickering with each other, which was truly horrible; it ruined everything for us. One of the waiters yelled at us in the restaurant, right in front of us, that he was going home. There was also loud, violent yelling coming from the kitchen. The seemingly newly hired waitresses clearly had no real training at all, often standing there clueless, and somehow doing everything wrong and knowing nothing. Orders were taken incorrectly and booked incorrectly. And they didn't even honor our online reservation, so we had to sit inside instead of outside in the nice weather :-(((( I don't understand why they offer online reservations when you apparently only have to reserve by phone?! Also, I don't understand how a team can work so unprofessionally?! Great food, great location, and then such embarrassingly bad service with the whining and screaming like you're in kindergarten. That's really embarrassing. It's a shame, especially when you're sitting in a restaurant with children. Well, that just wasn't okay, folks :-(((

Food tastes average. Positive: Great for quick hunger pangs. You will definitely be full. Negative: I always ordered soy sauce or sweet and sour sauce…. So somehow there was always a different sauce on it. Please listen carefully when you name a sauce. It doesn't matter whether I speak loudly or slowly. I never get the sauce that I want on it. That would be my only request 😅 Update: February 25, 2025 Last night I got duck with rice, soy sauce and vegetables... I'll never eat there again. 4 hours straight after eating, I suffer from nausea, diarrhea, stomach pain, foul belching... I haven't eaten anything else that causes these symptoms, and no one in my family has the symptoms except me. I strongly advise against eating there from a good friend of mine, her boyfriend also had the same complaints when he ate there. I'm really exhausted. Today I got a headache/body aches. Best regards
