It's just! the ambience, which gets points. We can't rate the food because we had to wait an hour even though almost all tables were free. It was said that we would be "called", but that didn't happen. There are 6 waiters running around here, but there is certainly little turnover, with empty tables. Well, the season is just starting, maybe it's still developing.

We were there on White Sunday. Nice weather, correspondingly full house. We still got a table on the terrace. Great, this organization! The food was great! I can only recommend the brawn. Gladly again.

We took the ferry to the restaurant. Great view with beach. Food was delicious. The temporary waiter spilled my drink on me, but was promptly informed that the cleaning costs would be reimbursed. Professional.

Very nicely located restaurant that is always busy. All the employees are extremely friendly and you feel comfortable. Unfortunately, the dishes have become very clear in terms of portion size and the price-performance ratio is no longer right at all. That's a real shame and I hope that it might be economically feasible to change that - that would be very nice.

We visited this restaurant for the first time on Saturday. It's modern and a lovely spot, especially when the weather is nice. We loved the modern decor, and there's a terrace and a beach bar outside. There's a good menu, including vegetarian dishes. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back.

der Platz reicht gar nicht aus so etwas possitives in Worte zu fassen . hatte mich mit dem Fahrrad verfahren suchte die Rheinfähre , dann das POSITIVE ERLEBNISS . ...Eine Fussball Mannschaft sind auch nicht nur die 11 Spieler auf dem Platz , viel mehr Menschen usw sind im Hintergrund im Verborgenen am grossen Erfolg mit am Arbeiten - genau wie hier am Piwipp Restaurant. Die Top aufgeweckten Kellnerinen , drinnen wie draussen , aber auch ein Koch in der Küche , die Putzfrau die Hygiene , jemand der sich die Hinweisschilder ausgedacht hat draussen , z.B. Fahrrad Parkplätze , die Abtrennungen , der Beach Surf Brett Bereich , so etwas. Top sauber alles , keinen Zigaretten irgedn wo , oder Eispapier , Top einfach Top . Ausaktuellem Anlass eine Tagessuppe aus der Region ( hatte ich auch Kartoffel Lauch , ) Ein Erdbeereis mit echten frischen Erdbeeren . genau wie der extra Salat Teller , frischer Salat aus der Region . Ich hatte mich verfahren mit dem Fahrrad zur Rheinfähre . Die Kellnerin konnte den besten Radweg vom Restaurant zum Zielort verständlich gut erklären .-- Das auf dem Teller war SUPER , aber auch rechts und links neben dem teller rand , komplettes Team / Mannschaft TOP . . Am Ende war das ganze gar nicht teuer , ganz im Gegenteil , jeder cent war es Wert , weil es TOP gut war . Zur Erinnerung an diesen guten Samstag habe ich auf TIKTOK ein Video gemacht - ein unvergesslicher Tag . Gute Speise , geile Preise . #JochenTiffeRTL

Wir waren mit 15 Leuten vor Ort und hatten Backofenkartoffeln vorbestellt. Wir waren etwa 10 Minuten später vor Ort. Die Speisen, allen hatte es sehr gut geschmeckt, waren dann relativ schnell auf dem Tisch und on Point!!! Die 2 Damen die uns bedient hatten waren voll auf Zack und total nett. Die Speisen liegen meiner Meinung nach etwas höher aufgehängt, kann auch an der Lage liegen, direkt an der Anlegestelle „Piwipper Bötchen“ Bei gutem Wetter ist der Biergarten, direkt am Rhein, komplett ausgereizt. Ich komme wieder!

I wanted to call to find out how full the restaurant was. The quick reply came straight away: “No comment, no reservation possible. Come by and take a look. Current information is not possible and makes no sense.” I was totally outraged. The restaurant isn't exactly around the corner either. So I'm going to eat somewhere else today. Maybe the staff should be taught again how to deal with customers.

I spontaneously went to eat at Haus Piwipp with 2 children. We were lucky that we came right after it opened, otherwise it certainly wouldn't have worked out, the restaurant is so popular on weekends. The staff was super friendly and joked around with the little one the whole time, which she really enjoyed. The food was super tasty. We would love to come back.

Great ambience, great location, delicious food! We were there on a weekday evening and got a table even without a reservation. The restaurant was quite busy! The service is very friendly and attentive. The selection on the menu is good, for example there is also a summer menu. There is a great selection from schnitzel, salad, cordon bleu to tarte flambée! Parking spaces are available free of charge directly in front of the house. The restaurant is located directly on the Rhine and invites you to take a short walk. In summer the terrace outside is very nice. Price performance is very good, Viennese style schnitzel including salad is +/- 17 euros! The food was very good and tasty and came very quickly.

Friendly and attentive staff. Terrace with a great view of the Rhine. The guest room is modern/cozy. The food is recommended. In the bar, among other things, Füchschen Alt. A reservation is absolutely recommended.

Very nicely located restaurant on the Rhine with seats outside right on the water. The employees are always attentive, courteous and very friendly. The food is also recommended, I particularly like the roast beef with fried potatoes, which unfortunately is only available in summer. The continuous opening hours are also great. It is also worth mentioning and very nice that dogs are very welcome there. Unfortunately, it can only be reached quickly from the other side of the Rhine (Monheim) with the Piwipper Böötchen on Sat/Sun and in summer. But we are always happy to come back!

We went to the small Christmas market at Haus Piwipp again - there are always very beautiful Advent arrangements here. The food at Haus Piwipp is highly recommended - the kitchen puts a lot of effort into it. We always enjoy coming here.

The Landgasthaus Piwipp is a real insider tip and highly recommended! The menu is deliberately kept small, but is of the highest quality - each dish is a special creation, prepared with fresh ingredients and great attention to detail. The drinks are also an experience here, carefully selected and perfectly served. The service is simply outstanding: friendly, attentive and always there for the guests. The summer terrace is particularly attractive with its wonderful view of the Rhine, where you can dine in the best atmosphere at sunset. Arriving by small boat that connects the inn adds extra charm to the visit. Another detail is the nearby crossroads, which was erected by the community and gives the place a special, traditional touch. The Landgasthaus Piwipp is a place where you forget about time and feel completely at home - a recommendation that you shouldn't miss!

Were there with the whole family. The restaurant with beer garden is right on the Rhine. The boss and team were on their toes. Kitchen great. Have Füchschen Alt in the Kölsch stronghold and then served on a Kölsch beer mat.

Wir gehen seit 6 Jahren hier zum Essen. Super Lage, Servicepersonal immer freundlich und sehr schnell. Die Portionen waren immer sehr groß. Dementsprechend verständlich teurer. Auch schmeckt das Essen sehr gut. Heue waren wir hier wieder hier, nach ca. 3 Monaten. Preise sind gleich geblieben. Portionen um 1/3 weniger. Ich habe Schnitzel Wiener Art mit Pommes und Salat bestellt. Bisher bekam ich einen Teller mit Pommes und 2 Schnitzeln, dazu separat einen Salat. Heute: Kein separater Salat mehr. Ein Mini-Mini Schüsselchen Salat auf dem Hauptspeiseteller. 2 gehäufte Finger Salat. Optisch vergrößert sich das Essen, da nun die "Salatbeilage" auf dem Teller gereicht wird. Nimmt damit aber Platz für das Hauptgericht weg. Die Salatbeilage ist somit nicht mehr extra in einer Salatschüssel. Ein Minimum an Salat wird auf dem Teller mit dem Mini-Schüsselchen integriert. Das nennt man Mogelpackung. Selber Preis, doch 30% weniger Inhalt.

What can you say, very nice view of the Rhine from the outside terrace and a good meal and something good to drink. What more could you expect! It's worth a visit.

Super nice location, sitting outside by the water is really nice when the weather is good. the food was delicious too. The only thing that bothered us was the waitresses who came to us every 5 minutes and asked, don't you even want a drink? You had the feeling that they were watching every glass, there were always these interruptions when you were talking, which I thought was a bit exaggerated. If you need something, you let us know, it's that simple. otherwise everything was fine.

Vor ein paar Tagen war ich dorthin mit unseren beiden Enkeln geradelt. Das Wetter war herrlich, wir fanden einen guten Tisch auf der Terasse und das strahlende Lächeln der Servicekräfte liess Opa's Herz direkt höher schlagen. Der kleine Enkel wählte sich von der Kinderkarte die Fischstäbchen, meine 17-jährige Enkelin entschied sich für einen Flammkuchen und ich wählte die Matjes nach Hausfrauenart. Ein Wort noch zur Speisekarte. Viele leckere Gerichte, aber die ganze Geschichte ist doch sehr auf Schweinefleisch fokussiert. Wer Schweinefleisch partout, so wie ich nicht mag, sollte hier besser nicht aufschlagen. Ausser Schweinefleich gibt es nur 2 Gerichte die man dann optional wählen kann, nämlich Matjes und Forelle. Wie schön würde sich auf dieser Karte mal ein Fleischgericht vom Kalb, vom Hähnchen oder vom Rind machen? Da würde ich auch gerne dann einen höheren Preis bezahlen! Das ist echt schade. Meine Begeisterung hierhinzukommen wird in erster Linie getriggert durch die wunderschöne Terasse, die ausgesprochen netten Kellnerinnen und die kühlen Getränke, aber nicht unbedingt durch ein Highlight auf der Speisekarte. We became aware of the report on NEWS 89.4 and were surprised that we had never heard of Haus Piwipp. This wonderful location is hidden and, in our opinion, can only be reached with navigation. We didn't have a reservation for the outside area, but thanks to the team's great organization, we were put on the waiting list and shown to our table after 15 minutes. The view of the Rhine is beautiful! And you start to slow down and relax. The outdoor terrace has enough umbrellas to provide enough shade. Certainly not 100%, but a good 90%. Haus Piwipp also has a beach bar with a beautiful sandy beach, loungers and a beach chair. We passed our 15 minute wait there brilliantly. We would like to thank the whole team from the bottom of our hearts. Despite the full house, everyone is very friendly and helpful, keeps a cool head and has everything under control. The kitchen in the house is a delight!!! The steak was cooked to perfection (medium rare), was excellently seasoned, tender as butter and a poem. The only thing we were missing was a small side salad. But we didn't read that correctly, we could have ordered it additionally. The tarte flambée we ordered was also a hit! Nothing special in itself, here it is still made in-house and that's how it tastes!!!!! Thank you very much and a warm greeting to the kitchen. So if you're looking for something out of the ordinary, want to enjoy relaxation or a holiday feeling, you've come to the right place HERE! Dogs are very welcome! Except in the beach bar!

Beautifully located directly on the Rhine. Great cuisine. Veal cheeks or brawn or baked potatoes are great. We have been here several times and always enjoy coming back. The friendly hosts allow guests with motorhomes to stay overnight in the parking lot upon request

Nettes Ambiente, nettes Personal. Im Biergarten schöne Aussicht auf den Rhein. Kleine, aber gute Speisekarte und drei Sorten Bier: Füchschen Alt, Gaffel Kölsch, Bitburger Pils. Ein bisschen teurer als im vergangenen Jahr, aber wo ist das nicht der Fall? Parkplätze: jede Menge, kostenlos. Alles in Allem: Für eine leckere (Zwischen)Mahlzeit immer empfehlenswert.

Went there on a bike tour. A super nice beer garden and a beach bar with a view of the Rhine. We were warmly welcomed and given a table (it was very busy, so reservations are recommended). Service was very nice and everything went very quickly, food was super tasty (there are also vegetarian and vegan dishes), so there was something for everyone. We were very satisfied and will come back.
