The canteen in the Vechta employment agency, with around 50 seats, has been run by the owner of the Niedersachsenhof in Brockum (near Lemförde) for over a year and is public, i.e. not only accessible to government employees. It is only open from Monday to Thursday. In the morning there are bread rolls and coffee, at lunchtime there are at least two, often three to four dishes, one of which is vegetarian. The food is varied and tasty. The staff is always friendly and in a good mood. Lunch costs €6.50, second helpings are free; Dessert costs extra. Only card payment is possible, no cash payment. Food can be pre-ordered and paid online via the website.

The staff knows how to warmly welcome guests, accommodate individual requests, and are always present without being intrusive. Even when the house is full, you feel in good hands here – a true showcase of hospitality. The Elmendorffburg impresses across the board from a culinary perspective. The kitchen offers classic German dishes prepared with great attention to detail. The presentation on preheated plates and the matching wine recommendations round out the culinary experience. Conclusion: The Elmendorffburg combines excellent service, first-class food, and a stylish, cozy ambiance to create a harmonious overall experience. The well-being of the guest is the focus here – a must for connoisseurs and all those seeking something special.

Unfortunately Dyars was closed yesterday and I decided to shop here. The French fries were old, fried in burnt oil and smelled for a long time. The weight of my order was far less than other listings I had purchased. NO LONGER ......

We ate very well and plentifully here. Excellent fried potatoes and steak fried to a perfect medium rare. Although we were only able to get space outside for a short time, it was bearable with the heaters. We'd love to come back.

Staff could have checked on us every now and then, if at all, to see if we wanted to order anything else, etc. Then we lost the desire to wait. We were happy that we paid on time. The greeting began with “You can sit wherever you want.” Seems a little stressful and not very professional. But good. The location looked pretty nice. We sat outside. The only thing that bothered me was the spider webs on the fence. I liked my cherry juice but it would look much nicer with a straw for the price. My mother really liked the cake.

The breakfast buffet is simply great! It's very rich, with freshly baked rolls, beautifully prepared, all types of coffee included, so you can find everything your heart desires there. The selection is simply great. The staff is very friendly and attentive, which is no longer a given these days. The menu is also appealing and the food is very tasty, as are the cocktails! I have ordered several times now and can only say TOP, I can only recommend the shop!!!!!!!

I have always enjoyed coming for breakfast, but unfortunately my last experience was extremely disappointing. The organization didn't work at all: there was a long queue to the outside and the buffet wasn't refilled in a timely manner, which led to considerable waiting times as plates were missing and the kitchen obviously couldn't keep up. We had to wait half an hour for drinks. We were also treated unkindly when we reasonably asked for a solution. If you are organizing an event of this type, you should get this under control or at least plan for fewer guests. To make matters worse, we were then informed that breakfast only lasts until 11:30 a.m. - even though we had waited extra to get through the line. All in all, it was a very unpleasant experience, especially on Mother's Day. I hope that more attention will be paid to the organization and service in the future. For my part, I won't be entering the restaurant again anytime soon.

This is the best Pizza and Pasta Restaurant in Vechta The staff are fantastic and the atmosphere is the best again in Vechta, coming from Sydney Australia where we also have a large Italian community. I can’t express enough how fantastic their pizza are the dough is to die for especially the margarita traditionally Italian pizza. And next door the best hotel for accommodation at Melchers They also serve a large range of pasta dishes. I highly recommend you swing past.. And do try their extensive range off cocktails 🍹
