The canteen at the Vechta Employment Agency, with approximately 50 seats, has been run by the owner of the Niedersachsenhof restaurant in Brockum (near Lemförde) for over a year now. It is open to the public, meaning it's not just for government employees. It's only open Monday to Thursday. In the morning, there are rolls and coffee, and at lunch, there are at least two, often three to four, dishes, one of which is vegetarian. The food is varied and tasty. The staff is always friendly and cheerful. Lunch costs €6.50, and seconds are free; dessert costs extra. Payments can only be made by card; no cash.
