The canteen in the Vechta employment agency, with around 50 seats, has been run by the owner of the Niedersachsenhof in Brockum (near Lemförde) for over a year and is public, i.e. not only accessible to government employees. It is only open from Monday to Thursday.
In the morning there are bread rolls and coffee, at lunchtime there are at least two, often three to four dishes, one of which is vegetarian. The food is varied and tasty. The staff is always friendly and in a good mood. Lunch costs €6.50, second helpings are free; Dessert costs extra. Only card payment is possible, no cash payment.
Food can be pre-ordered and paid online via the website.
The service was very cheeky and totally disrespectful towards us when we asked if we would be served the drinks in bottles. The answer we got was: "We're not at Aldi!" That was my first and last visit. Food was really great.
A good restaurant, nicely equipped, central location, nice staff, parking wasn't a problem, if you're lucky you'll find something.
About the food: it was delicious and tasteful, but the portions of meat could be larger.
We went there yesterday, on Valentine's Day, to eat. The food was really great and delicious.
The chef himself is a really great person and very empathetic. We love this place and keep coming back for the food.
The food, naan, chicken, shrimp and rice was very good.
Only 3/10 tables were occupied.
Total 6 customers.
Waiting times were particularly long.
Probably the boss, she was on the phone and talking a lot with friends.
The temporary help was rotating a bit and was extremely insecure, probably a little newer (which isn't a problem), but the boss could have been a little more supportive.
But in terms of taste and price, a very, very good Indian. We will most likely come back.
Was there yesterday afternoon. The employee was very friendly and calmly prepared everything for me the way I wanted it. Since I'm always very nervous, I thought it was great how calm she was with me. I'd love to come back.
