The canteen in the Vechta employment agency, with around 50 seats, has been run by the owner of the Niedersachsenhof in Brockum (near Lemförde) for over a year and is public, i.e. not only accessible to government employees. It is only open from Monday to Thursday. In the morning there are bread rolls and coffee, at lunchtime there are at least two, often three to four dishes, one of which is vegetarian. The food is varied and tasty. The staff is always friendly and in a good mood. Lunch costs €6.50, second helpings are free; Dessert costs extra. Only card payment is possible, no cash payment. Food can be pre-ordered and paid online via the website.

Absolutely recommended! Very tasty cake and absolutely friendly staff.

Sextro, known for delicious food. So again today in a large group. The service is again top. 👍

Really good German food, not a massive menu, which is a good thing and still plenty of choice. Not overly expensive and quality ingredients with superb presentation. Quick, friendly & knowledgeable service. Really enjoyed our meal. Would highly recommend if you want proper German food.

Cabbage Party 2025 on February 22nd, 2025: Food/buffet super good!! Music: Boom, boom, boom!!! Disaster!!! And that for 65 € per person. Really “sporty”.......

Unfortunately, it had lost its reputation over the last few years, with a new concept and operator now with very good food in the evenings and absolutely friendly service. We'll definitely come back

Cozy café, very friendly and attentive service on two floors and outdoor terrace. On weekends, breakfast at the buffet including all hot drinks.

Ordered online via the site. Ordering process simple, payable with Paypal. Food arrived in about 30 minutes. The pizzas were still hot and tasted very good. Also very cheap. Clearly recommended.

The food at Melchers is simply fantastic! Fresh ingredients, great preparation and always tasty. Whether classic dishes or special specialties – quality is very important here. There is also friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere. Absolutely recommended!

This is the best Pizza and Pasta Restaurant in Vechta The staff are fantastic and the atmosphere is the best again in Vechta, coming from Sydney Australia where we also have a large Italian community. I can’t express enough how fantastic their pizza are the dough is to die for especially the margarita traditionally Italian pizza. And next door the best hotel for accommodation at Melchers They also serve a large range of pasta dishes. I highly recommend you swing past.. And do try their extensive range off cocktails 🍹

Really bad shop. Price increases of sometimes 80% for some dishes from one semester to the next! That's unbelievable!
