The canteen in the Vechta employment agency, with around 50 seats, has been run by the owner of the Niedersachsenhof in Brockum (near Lemförde) for over a year and is public, i.e. not only accessible to government employees. It is only open from Monday to Thursday. In the morning there are bread rolls and coffee, at lunchtime there are at least two, often three to four dishes, one of which is vegetarian. The food is varied and tasty. The staff is always friendly and in a good mood. Lunch costs €6.50, second helpings are free; Dessert costs extra. Only card payment is possible, no cash payment. Food can be pre-ordered and paid online via the website.

The breakfast buffet was rich and tasty....particularly worth mentioning are the crispy rolls that look like they were fresh from the bakery...will definitely come back...

Delicious food and good service.

We had a lovely evening in a special atmosphere. We were served an excellent meal with a great dessert. The natural and friendly service is exemplary, just 😀👍👍👍👍👍

The breakfast buffet at Gut Welpe is very good and extensive. The price-performance ratio is right. Gladly again at any time!

The waitress was very nice and was busy during my visit. Her colleague (or boss) saw that I had to wait a long time to order, but sat down and made a phone call instead of serving the customers. It didn't seem particularly customer-oriented and I can neither recommend nor would I visit there again.

The best burgers, amazing atmosphere, great service

This is the best Pizza and Pasta Restaurant in Vechta The staff are fantastic and the atmosphere is the best again in Vechta, coming from Sydney Australia where we also have a large Italian community. I can’t express enough how fantastic their pizza are the dough is to die for especially the margarita traditionally Italian pizza. And next door the best hotel for accommodation at Melchers They also serve a large range of pasta dishes. I highly recommend you swing past.. And do try their extensive range off cocktails 🍹

Unfortunately, the taste of the food wasn't really convincing. The staff was friendly, with one exception.
