Wir waren die einzigen Gäste - und sind rundum begeistert. Ronny ist ein perfekter Gastgeber und ein ebenso perfekter Koch. Alle Gerichte schmeckten ausgezeichnet; zuvor gab es eine ausführliche Beratung, und als Abschluss-Überraschung noch eine kleine Crème brûlée. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden sicher wiederkommen.

11/2024 I was there for breakfast again. It was quite cold in the dining room. It would be nice to turn on the heaters to start the day. Unfortunately the latte macchiato was only lukewarm. The hot breakfast as well. I'm missing a bit of fire to get full marks. Succeeded! From the reservation to the farewell... there is someone with heart and soul involved. Presto, without any hassle a table was reserved for the two of us via WhatsApp. It is best to park in the nearby parking garage. A warm welcome to the restaurant, my first glance went to the beautiful floral ceiling, the second to our beautiful place. Thank God - comfortable chairs, no squeezing, nice view, the latte came with a biscuit - that's how I love it. Breakfast here is not run of the mill, a look at the menu provides enough information. Our choice was excellent, and the Easter surprise was just the icing on the cake. The service was wonderful, fast, friendly, attentive. We'll be coming over in the evening soon, there was a lot of exciting things on the menu.

Ein kleiner rustikaler Gastraum und für größere Gruppen die Gud Stubb. Sehr freundliches Personal und ein knuffiger Koch, dem man seine Liebe zum kochen auch anmerkt.

Da wir zum ersten Mal (für Konzertbesuche) in Kronberg waren, haben wir uns auf Tripadvisor verlassen und das etwas versteckte Restaurant gefunden - es war eine Entdeckung! Überaus freundlicher Empfang, sehr gemütlicher Innenraum (ebensolcher Garten - zum zweiten Mal waren wir draussen), interessante Speisekarte, und die Gerichte hielten durchwegs, was sie versprachen. Auch der Wein war beide Male sehr gut und nicht überteuert. Allein das Restaurant wäre schon ein Grund, wieder nach Kronberg zu fahren.....

We recently had our company Christmas party at this restaurant and unfortunately we were disappointed overall. The ambience was pleasant and festive, but the experience was marred by several issues. The food was served cold, which is particularly unfortunate at a celebration of this kind. In addition, the service staff didn't seem very friendly or attentive, which had a negative impact on the overall impression. The waiting times were also unreasonably long, which led to an overall un-relaxed atmosphere. We had hoped for more from this evening, especially because it was a special event. An overhaul of the service concept and more attention to food preparation could certainly help to satisfy future guests. We hope that this is taken as constructive feedback and wish the team all the best.

Good food and friendliest staff I've seen in a while! Will definitely be back.

Super delicious food, worth every cent!

I've eaten there again for a long time, it was very, very tasty. The gentleman who served us was extremely friendly and accommodating. I like the atmosphere there, the people at the counter still communicate like in the old days.

Nach wie vor ein wunderbares Ambiente. Gegenüber früher müssen wir leider die Küche als unbefriedigend beurteilen. Die Parmesanstange zur Minestrone war hart und muffig, offenbar alt. Die Kartoffelbeilage zur Rinderschulte war ohne Geschmack und kleistrig. Zum Espresso gab es verschiedenen Zucker. Früher wurde eine kleine Praline oder Keks dazugelegt, manchmal auf entzückenden kleinen Etageren . Auch vorab kein Gruß aus der Küche. Selbst ein bisschen Weißbrot muss extra geordert werden. Das war früher deutlich anders. Dem Stil eines solchen Hauses steht eine solche Knickerigkeit nicht gut an. Man fühlt sich als Gast nicht wertgeschätzt. In einem solchen Haus achtet msnnals Gast durchaus auf solche Details. Sie machen auch den kultivierten Charme eines solchen Hauses aus. Schade, wir waren zu dritt mittags da, um einer Freundin eine Geburtstsgsfreude zu machen.

Very tasty food I'm looking forward to eating there again

My wife and I were guests at Enrico d’Assia yesterday. We had forest mushroom and pumpkin soup in advance with the aperitifs Gin-Tonic (Monkey) and Aperol Spritz. The two soups completely convinced us and were something special right from the start. The two aperitifs were solid and as expected. In my opinion, that's the maximum you should expect from a gin and tonic and Aperol Spritz. The main courses were octopus and hake. The side dishes include mashed potatoes, fried vegetables with a special request and Caesar salad. The octopus was very tasty and slightly smoky. Probably grilled over an open fire, served with a tomato sauce, which with its fruity note went perfectly with the slightly smoky octopus. The hake was evenly tender and cooked perfectly. Here the hake was deliberately presented in a classic way and with the mashed potatoes it was a dream. The Caesar salad was delicious and on top of that there was a glass of dry red wine from our own winery. For dessert we had panna cotta with mango topping and an espresso macchiato. The panna cotta was served in a mason jar in a very modern way and was an excellent finishing touch. However, I noticed something with the espresso macchiato ;-). The two coffee dots on the milk foam indicate a fully automatic machine. The taste was good, but an espresso from the portafilter would have been great at the end. All in all, we will definitely be repeat customers as we found the Enrico d’Assia to be slightly playful, where both the service and the presentation made us feel comfortable. And even though we couldn't try everything, we perceived the dishes listed as aiming for the perfect experience and not pure extravagance. The service team was young, motivated, friendly and courteous. The entire appearance of the restaurant is bold, in our opinion, because in contrast to the ambience and premises, Enrico d’Assia appears rather modern. Thank you for the lovely evening
