My wife and I were guests at Enrico d’Assia yesterday. We had forest mushroom and pumpkin soup in advance with the aperitifs Gin-Tonic (Monkey) and Aperol Spritz. The two soups completely convinced us and were something special right from the start. The two aperitifs were solid and as expected. In my opinion, that's the maximum you should expect from a gin and tonic and Aperol Spritz. The main courses were octopus and hake. The side dishes include mashed potatoes, fried vegetables with a special request and Caesar salad. The octopus was very tasty and slightly smoky. Probably grilled over an open fire, served with a tomato sauce, which with its fruity note went perfectly with the slightly smoky octopus. The hake was evenly tender and cooked perfectly. Here the hake was deliberately presented in a classic way and with the mashed potatoes it was a dream. The Caesar salad was delicious and on top of that there was a glass of dry red wine from our own winery. For dessert we had panna cotta with mango topping and an espresso macchiato. The panna cotta was served in a mason jar in a very modern way and was an excellent finishing touch. However, I noticed something with the espresso macchiato ;-). The two coffee dots on the milk foam indicate a fully automatic machine. The taste was good, but an espresso from the portafilter would have been great at the end. All in all, we will definitely be repeat customers as we found the Enrico d’Assia to be slightly playful, where both the service and the presentation made us feel comfortable. And even though we couldn't try everything, we perceived the dishes listed as aiming for the perfect experience and not pure extravagance. The service team was young, motivated, friendly and courteous. The entire appearance of the restaurant is bold, in our opinion, because in contrast to the ambience and premises, Enrico d’Assia appears rather modern. Thank you for the lovely evening

Today we were at Enrico d’Assia (in the Schlosshotel Kronberg) as part of the “Taste Twelve” offer. What can I say, there are days when nothing works at all and we caught one like that today (hope it's not always like that!) The space on the terrace was fantastic - but that was almost all of the positive experiences. Ok, the various white breads with butter (€3.50) were also quite good. For starters I had beef carpaccio, meat was ok, but unfortunately the parmesan was forgotten. The service takes almost 15 minutes! needed to supply me with some thick parmesan shavings. The wine we had was a Grüner Veltliner, nothing great (purchase under 10€) it was sold with a factor greater than 4.5 - i.e. 45€. For the main course I ordered medium-rare beef fillet with fries (charged extra at €6.5). Unfortunately the fries were frozen, but the meat was much worse. Ok - it was medium and not medium-rare - I could ignore that, but the bad thing was that the meat tasted slightly sour - very strange. When I complained, I was offered a T-bone from Iberico pork as a replacement. It was delicious but fried for too long - a real shame! Then I order an espresso macchiato - I was brought an espresso cup with frothed milk but unfortunately without coffee. I thought I ended up here on hidden camera! My companion didn't have it as bad as me - but the turbot was also fried dry. As a “compensation” they didn't charge me for my fries, two bottles of water and my espresso - to be honest I would have expected more accommodation. The service was slightly overwhelmed. This restaurant will definitely never see us again.

A very nice restaurant, very good food, the staff are so friendly and the place is a very nice castle with high ceiling. De. Ein sehr schönes Restaurant, sehr gutes Essen, die Angestellten sind so freundlich und der Ort ist ein sehr schönes Schloss mit hoher Decke. Fr. Un très bon restaurant, très bonne nourriture, personnel est très sympathique et l'endroit est un très beau château avec de hauts plafonds. Sp. The restaurant and service are not up to par with a 5-star hotel. The beef pasta is edible but at the same level as a primary school canteen in France. Fortunately the Pinot noir is decent but it's not worth a good Bordeaux wine. Service to be reviewed: no change of wine glass, there are wine glasses for white wine and others for red wine, in short the fundamentals of the service are not respected. Placement of clients side by side while the room is empty, thank you for the privacy! It’s a shame for a restaurant located in a hotel of this standard! And I’m not talking about the €10 bottle of water! Distressed with clumsiness and scams. 2 stars: for old tapestries. but it cannot be eaten.

We felt completely at home in the beautiful ambience of the castle and had an excellent meal in the Enrico D'Assia restaurant. The rump steak was perfectly fried and the side dishes and sauce were very tasty. In addition, the waitresses were very friendly and pleasant. We'd love to come back.

My wife and I decided to have lunch here after getting married in Bad Soden. Upon arrival we were immediately congratulated by one of the waiters, who also kindly set up a table for us inside despite all the tables being set up for dining on the terrace. We ordered the Bruschetta as a starter to share and my wife ordered the salmon for her main and I ordered the veal schnitzel. All were delicious and perfectly sized portions. The service throughout our meal was brilliant and not too invasive given our desire to take in the ambience of the castle and enjoy our first meal as a married couple. Following our meal we were given the dessert menu but decided to skip dessert, as we were already full from the starter and main. As we were settling the bill the waiter brought us a piece of their signature Riesling cake courtesy of the house to celebrate our special day. This really rounded off a perfect lunch for us and we were really moved by the thoughtfulness of the staff in making us feel special. A huge thank you to the kitchen staff and everyone who served us during our meal, particularly to the gentleman who congratulated us on our arrival and really went the extra mile :-). We would definitely recommend the restaurant and look forward to our next visit.

We chose the Hessen for Hesse package, which included a Drei Gand menu. The hotel is very nice, everyone is very friendly and the rooms are very nice. But now about the food: we took a table at 6 p.m. We were the second table in the restaurant. We were able to put together the menu ourselves. I increased it to 5 courses. First the foccacia, then the carpaccio, then lentils, then orecchiette and finally flammerie. Course 1 Foccacia was delicious and fluffy, cream was also delicious, unfortunately the way it was served was very clumsy. Course 2 Carpaccio was visually beautifully presented and tasted good. Unfortunately the lemon was placed in the middle so you got your fingers really dirty. Course 3 beluga lentils with cauliflower were totally over salted, so r It burned my lips. Very unfortunate!!! Course 4 Orecchiette with mushrooms also had too much salt, I also complained about it. Course 5 semolina flammery with plum roaster. Semolina flammery too firm, tasteless, plum roaster was set too tightly, like mush. I don't want to badmouth anyone, everyone has a bad day sometimes, but the evening was disappointing. My partner's vitello was served on a plate that was far too small; the sea bass looked good. However, the only thing in the cheese course was Manchego cheese, the rest was run of the mill, a shame. Service was very nice and friendly.

As guests of the hotel, we were looking forward to a nice, high-quality dinner in a beautiful atmosphere. Even though we had a reservation an hour after the restaurant opened, the first appetizer was sold out. After some back and forth, it was then possible to swap the North Sea crabs for the shrimps. The Vitello Tonnato was good. As the main course we ordered the sea bass and the Viennese schnitzel. Generally the food was cold, the fish was ok, but the schnitzel was really bad. The vegetables in tomato sauce with the fish tasted like a canned product. The schnitzel was one of the worst I've ever been served. It was not only cold, but also dry. It was also fried for too long and the breading was very dark. Here, too, it was clear that the schnitzel was a finished product. Although the service was satisfactory, it wasn't a nice evening and the great atmosphere wasn't there anymore. Even if the criticism was dealt with relatively, we would never go to this restaurant again. Here the price doesn't match the quality of the food at all. In particular, I can get the schnitzel in any reasonably good pub, in significantly better quality.

일단 주문 받으려면 한시간 족히 걸리고 담당 켈너린 주문 실수를 너무 많이 함. 메인부터 디저트 음료 뭐하나 제대로 나온게 없고 제대로 메뉴 듣지 않았으면서 잘못 주문 했다고 함. 음식맛은 진짜 평범 다만 짜진 않음

Herrliches Ambiente auf der Terrasse, aber drinnen waren wir leider die einzigen Gäste zwischen eingedeckten Frühstückstischen. Speisekarte eher schmal für italienische Küche und Preis/Leistung sicher nicht erfüllt. Grosse Erwartung wurde zur grossen Enttäuschung. Schade.

Good restaurant in the middle of the zoo with a great outdoor terrace. Food simple but delicious. The food itself is sometimes served by a robot. Simply perfect for families with children who get hungry while visiting the zoo, prices are normal.

Nach wie vor ein wunderbares Ambiente. Gegenüber früher müssen wir leider die Küche als unbefriedigend beurteilen. Die Parmesanstange zur Minestrone war hart und muffig, offenbar alt. Die Kartoffelbeilage zur Rinderschulte war ohne Geschmack und kleistrig. Zum Espresso gab es verschiedenen Zucker. Früher wurde eine kleine Praline oder Keks dazugelegt, manchmal auf entzückenden kleinen Etageren . Auch vorab kein Gruß aus der Küche. Selbst ein bisschen Weißbrot muss extra geordert werden. Das war früher deutlich anders. Dem Stil eines solchen Hauses steht eine solche Knickerigkeit nicht gut an. Man fühlt sich als Gast nicht wertgeschätzt. In einem solchen Haus achtet msnnals Gast durchaus auf solche Details. Sie machen auch den kultivierten Charme eines solchen Hauses aus. Schade, wir waren zu dritt mittags da, um einer Freundin eine Geburtstsgsfreude zu machen.
