Wir haben alle schon lange nicht mehr so gut gegessen. Wir haben uns schon lange nicht mehr bei Gastgebern so zuhause gefühlt. Wir wurden schon lange nicht mehr so umsorgt. Wir wurden mit Herz spass und liebe von euch betreut. Vielen lieben Dank.

Ein toller Ort mit uriger Atmosphäre, entspannter und herzlicher Stimmung – und fantastischem Essen! Alex & Andy könnten wahrscheinlich zu jedem Gegenstand eine Geschichte erzählen, und man spürt in allem ihre Leidenschaft für diesen besonderen Ort. Ich komme immer wieder gerne ins Liebe Zeit und empfehle es von Herzen weiter!

Sehr freundlicher Empfang und Service. Das Essen war spitze und selbst die kurze Wartezeit auf unseren Tisch wurde mit einem kleinen Sekt auf‘s Haus versüßt. Eine wirkliche kleine gemütliche leicht rustikale „Wohnzimmer-Atmosphäre“… wir kommen sehr gerne wieder

Es war heute eine schöne Zeit in der liebe Zeit :). Wir kommen immer wieder gerne zum schmausen . Ich hatte heute Risotto Reis mit Jacobsmuscheln und Garnelen mit buntem Gemüse bei dem auch warme Äpfelchen dabei waren, eine tolle Kombi. Und die tollen Nachtische sind immer wieder lecker 😋 . Wir saßen im kleinen Garten, der sehr schön war. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Alles, was wir hatten, war frisch und lecker. Einziger Nachteil: Die Speisekarte war sehr klein, sodass ich nichts fand, was ich wirklich essen wollte. Ich nahm das Schnitzel. Da man nicht mit Karte bezahlen kann, mussten wir eine Banküberweisung machen, was ärgerlich war.

A restaurant with room for improvement. We had Wiener schnitzel and fried fish, both good, but nothing worth returning to, especially since you can get more tender schnitzel at other restaurants. The dining room is full of decorations, presumably intended to be authentic and evoke memories. Unfortunately, it feels rather cluttered and untidy. Furthermore, all the plates were greasy, as if they hadn't been cleaned properly.

We had a wonderful evening, the table lovingly set, even with special flowers for my birthday. The food was delicious. The menu is manageable, but there's something for everyone. We'll be back 😊

I'm just a guest here, and only for two days. At first, I wasn't sure whether I should go into this restaurant. Once inside, I received a very warm welcome. A table was available immediately, even without a reservation. The food was so delicious that I ate here both days. The service is very informal yet professional. Thank you very much for the wonderful experience.

Love this German restaurant that has really fresh ingredients. I have been here 3 times and finally I said I must give it a top rated review. The fish was excellent tonight and so was the celery soup. Lovely owner/chef Andy and hostess who served us!

We came across a group of people by chance and had a fantastic evening there. Not only when it came to the Appelwoi, and we were lucky enough that the manufacturer came to our table and sang us the song about the bump on the head (the jug was designed that way), the service and the cook were also lovely. We decided on a mixed bag and were given various different platters - so many that we refused dessert - we just couldn't take it anymore :) When we are back in Kronberg for a conference in the next quarter (June 2025) - we will definitely come back :)

We had a great evening. The food is simply fantastic, fine, special ideas. The daily menu is not that big, but everything can be combined or changed. The prices are right and the hosts are super friendly and open. You just feel welcome and comfortable. We'll be back.

We had a funeral service here with 15-20 people and felt so well looked after - the service was warm and considerate, the atmosphere was cozy and the food was delicious. We didn't have to worry about anything, which is really, really worth a lot in such a situation.

I'm happy every time I'm there because not only is the food great (very small menu, so everything is always top!), but the service is unbeatably warm! It enriches the stomach and the soul! The location is also super cozy in an old half-timbered house. I feel like I'm with friends every time I go to this restaurant! 100% recommendation!

This review only concerns my meal yesterday, fried fish with salad and fried potatoes. The quantity of fish was manageable and it wasn't fully fried. After I complained, I only got one of the two mini pieces of fish back, which was burnt. The salad dressing was completely over salted and so were the fried potatoes. It's a shame, that was really disappointing.

We spontaneously reserved a table for about 10 people and had one of the warmest restaurant visits ever. The two owners of the restaurant were so friendly and attentive to us. We had a colleague with gluten intolerance and a suitable alternative was always provided for her too. We enjoyed both the food and the beer very much. We will definitely stop here again on our next business trip to Kronberg. Thank you very much and keep it up :)

Absolutely amazing experience! It was our first time there and they took so much time with us. The food is absolutely top class! (Especially the fabulous chestnut soup)

We recently had our company Christmas party at this restaurant and unfortunately we were disappointed overall. The ambience was pleasant and festive, but the experience was marred by several issues. The food was served cold, which is particularly unfortunate at a celebration of this kind. In addition, the service staff didn't seem very friendly or attentive, which had a negative impact on the overall impression. The waiting times were also unreasonably long, which led to an overall un-relaxed atmosphere. We had hoped for more from this evening, especially because it was a special event. An overhaul of the service concept and more attention to food preparation could certainly help to satisfy future guests. We hope that this is taken as constructive feedback and wish the team all the best.

We had our Christmas party in the “Liebe Zeit” restaurant in Kronberg and were unfortunately extremely disappointed. It was a catastrophe that we will not soon forget. The service already left a lot to be desired: The waiter was extremely unfriendly and constantly made inappropriate, sometimes condescending comments that noticeably dampened the mood. The food was also disappointing: it was served cold and had absolutely no taste. The veal schnitzel consisted almost entirely of breading - there was hardly any meat to be seen. The duck was raw and tasteless. Overall, the food lacked quality and attention to detail. To make matters worse, many of our colleagues complained of severe stomach pain the next day, which ultimately rounded off the evening on a negative note. Given these experiences, we wonder how the restaurant gets the supposedly good reviews. In any case, we cannot understand this in any way. We are extremely dissatisfied and will definitely not be coming back. Conclusion: Unfortunately not a recommendation - neither for celebrations nor for a normal restaurant visit.

My husband and I had dinner at this lovely restaurant with friends. It was decorated with love. Alex and Andi (owners) welcomed us warmly and we felt very comfortable during the hours we were there. Dinner with the family. The restaurant was cozy. The service was good. For the prices I would have expected a little more. It was ok. We had schnitzel with fried potatoes.

We were here for the first time today and spontaneously came to have a drink. We received a super friendly welcome, got a red wine on the house and even some bread and spread without us asking. Just so we feel comfortable. We felt very welcome and look forward to more evenings here. Thank you for your hospitality!

I was eating and celebrating here with 19 people. Everything was as previously discussed. Most of the guests thanked us the next day for the lovely evening, the good food and the fast, unobtrusive service. Well done, A Team.

Yesterday we spontaneously went to Liebe Zeit and were thrilled. Even though there were 7 of us, a table was prepared for us. We were served very friendly, the family atmosphere was great and the food was excellent. The portions are generous and the prices are fair. I will definitely come back :).

Loving, funky restaurant, very tasty and the chef is very flexible, always in a good mood and his lovely partner Alex ensures friendly service.

After the restaurant was taken over by the former "Green Forest" innkeeper and his wife, it was their first visit and they were extremely enthusiastic about the layout of the restaurant, especially the attentive service of the woman of the house ... and the diverse, unusual menu with regional delicacies . The chef Andi spoiled us excellently with his extremely creative original compositions...especially his delicious braised veal cheeks and so many side dishes...especially the parsnip mash...plus delicious wines...at any time and again soon! A restaurant that lives up to its name!

Sehr freundlich sehr gute Küche

Am Rande der romantischen Kronberger Altstadt, in einem kleinen Häuschen. Auch von außen bereits sehr einladend. Die kleine Karte läßt vermuten, dass frisch gekocht wird. Den Eindruck hatten auch wir beim essen. Ordentliches Kochhandwerk mit etwas Phantasie gestaltet. Der Koch kam später mit dem Topf und bot unaufgefordert einen Nachschlag zum Wildgulasch. Der Service sehr aufmerksam und gut gelaunt. Die Getränkepreise gehen in Ordnung. Parken: keine 5 Minuten in der Tiefgarage am Berliner Platz. Fazit Hier sollte man regelmäßig mal hingehen. Übrigens: Perfekt in Verbindung mit dem Besuch im benachbarten Kino

Fabulously creative food served by the legendary Alex & Andy. Seasonally perfected fresh ingredients combined with a twist. For example Pumpkin/Potato/Sesame/Watercress Soup. Come for the food. Stay for the atmosphere and hospitality.

Wir haben einen sehr schönen Abend bei Liebe Zeit verbracht und wurden ausgesprochen freundlich bedient. Auf unsere Wünsche wurde sehr nett eingegangen. Das Eseen war sehr lecker und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Passt alles... tolles Ambiente, außerordentlich freundlicher und zuvorkommender Service und abwechslungsreiche Karte mit interessant zusammengestellten Gerichten.

Wir sind schockverliebt! Wir waren gestern zum ersten Mal im "Liebe Zeit" in Kronberg und sicher nicht das letzte Mal! Das Essen ist super lecker und raffiniert zubereitet. Alles frisch und gesund. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und persönlich. Toll! Die Atmosphäre war sehr lauschig, so will man an einem Frühsommerabend verweilen. Preis / Leistung absolut angemessen.

Das Essen ist ein Traum. Zumindest die Hauptgerichte, die haben durchweg überzeugt. Ich habe noch nie so guten Tintenfisch gegessen. Wir haben noch ein Wiener Schnitzel zum mitnehmen bestellt, weil der Rest so lecker war und wir bekamen es sogar auf Tellern mit. Vorspeisen hatten wir nicht, dazu kann ich also nichts sagen. Desserts sind nicht so die Stärke vom Restaurant. Das Schokoküchlein hat sehr danach geschmeckt, dass es zugekauft wurde. Schade. Die Kellnerin - die Frau vom Koch - ist ein Sonnenschein. Sehr höflich und immer am lächeln. Da sie allerdings alleine im Service ist, dauert alles etwas länger. Der Koch kam auch zu unserem Platz und hat noch die Gerichte aufgezählt, die es an dem Abend noch außerhalb der Karte gab - bei uns war es Backfisch vom Kabeljau. Die kompletten Gerichte, die man im Internet auf der Karte findet, gab es nicht. Die Auswahl war kleiner. Das war definitiv nicht mein letzter Besuch da.

Wonderful cozy little restaurant in the center of Kronberg. Free street parking is difficult but there is a large parking garage under the Berliner Platz. Food is fantastic with several daily specials. During the month of May they serve specials like "Mai Scholle" (Flounder) and a home mixed drink called "Mai Bowle" - a very yummy alcoholic concoction you have to try! The service is super friendly and the owners are present themselves. The restaurant has a little winter garden type room in the back and some outdoor seating as well.

Gemütliches Ambiente und ein sehr herzlicher Service. Da nur drei, maximal vier Personen im Restaurant beschäftigt sind, kann es manchmal etwas länger dauern. Das ist das Essen und die Stimmung wert. Sehr frisch, gut abgeschmeckt, soufflierte Schnitzel, auf dem Dessertteller war noch ein Stück Käsekuchen, "weil der Koch heute Lust hatte, zu backen". Kleiner Tipp: Winzer und Jahrgang auf die Weinkarte, Rotweine etwas kühler servieren. Da man aber gegen Korkgeld seine eigene Flasche mitbringen darf, ist auch das kein Problem.

Sehr nettes kleines Restaurant mit sehr aufmerksamen und zuvorkommenden Service. Das Essen ist sehr schmackhaft und auf eine ausgefallene Art zubereitet.

Fisch erstklassig zubereitet mit ideenreichem leckerem Gemüse. Du kommst in die „Wohnstube“ , wirst herzlich begrüßt und perfekt bedient. Eigentlich sollte man es besser für sich behalten, ist ein Geheimtipp für Wohlfühlen. Toll, dass es das noch gibt.

Diese Woche hatte meine Mutter mich ins Liebe Zeit nach Kronberg zum Geburtstagsessen eingeladen. Es war brasilianischer Abend und der Bär steppte. Für die älteren Männer einer Gesangsloge gab es eine spärlich bekleidete, hübsche Brasilianerin als Highlight, woraufhin diese wie junge Profitänzer um sie herumschwirrten. Meine Mutter befürchtete, dass sie meinen Bruder, den Notarzt, noch sehen würde bei den wilden Grooves. Also die Stimmung war mega. Dazu muss man sagen, dass es recht eng war und unser riesiger Hund zwar willkommen geheißen wurde, aber vielleicht doch ein wenig im Weg lag. Andererseits war es wiederum schön, durch die Enge (und den Hund) neue Leute kennenzulernen. Wie Sie merken, geriet bei dieser brasilianischen Party das Essen zur Nebensache. Völlig unfair, denn es war auch sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich. Ich habe schon ein bisschen die ganzen Kronberger beneidet, die in den Nachbarhäusern wohnen. So ein Restaurant hätte ich auch gerne in der Nachbarschaft. Wie ein Hotspot!
