Can definitely be highly recommended. Located in a side street/peas alley, accessible through a courtyard entrance on the ground floor, small step. The dining room isn't huge, but it's cozy and cozy. Service very nice and attentive. Special requests will be accommodated when ordering. Something is also available for those with gluten intolerance or is freshly prepared accordingly. The food was unforgettable and very tasty. You should only order a large schnitzel if you are a good eater or feel starving. Schnitzel comes in three sizes, small, regular and large. Prices are in the normal range and fair. The dishes we tried were very tasty and freshly prepared, respect for the kitchen. In conclusion: all two thumbs up, highly recommended, we were definitely not there for the last time. All the best. And as a treat, if you're looking for something to grill, there's a meat sommelier machine outside...

Greek food, possibly only the shortened lunch menu.

This ayran was delivered to eat on October 24th, 2023... 20 days after the best before date (picture), which creates little trust in the freshness of other ingredients. The burger we ordered was rather cold because the driver drove to the wrong address twice. (That wasn't the first time either). The mint sauce is a nice idea, but if the patti is cold and hard as a rock, even the best sauce can't save it. It's a shame, we were actually thrilled at first, but that was probably the last time we ordered from the store today.

Oh yes, fresh asparagus in season is really a treat! Whether classic with butter and hollandaise sauce, as a crisp salad or even grilled - it brings spring to the plate.

A real enrichment for the Haitz and Gelnhausen gastronomy! Large selection of Italian dishes, freshly prepared and very tasty. Great outdoor terrace, very attentive service and visually flawless. Keep it up - we'll be happy to come back!

What a wonderful evening! We had a company event with almost 40 people and had the restaurant to ourselves. A wonderful atmosphere, delicious food, and fantastic staff (I accidentally didn't order dessert, but they still conjured up a wonderful selection for us). We felt very comfortable and can wholeheartedly recommend Kaufmanns!

Apparently the times given here are not correct and the shop is only open in the evenings, if at all. If you call the number provided (a cell phone number) to reserve a table, you will be answered by a nameless man who will first ask which restaurant you would like to make a reservation for. If you raise your concerns, he says: “Oh, hmm, they’re actually only open in the evenings.” He wants to “clarify” it and then call you back - which he will never do. Everything is very dubious.

Yesterday evening we happened to pass the Old Wine Cellar and spontaneously decided to enter - without any specific expectations. We were even more excited! The quality of the service, the food and especially the wines completely convinced us. We were particularly impressed by the owner with his expert and warm advice on wine selection - we were not disappointed in any way. Anyone who visits this charming restaurant should take time to enjoy the food and the atmosphere in peace (we were there for about 2.5 hours). An absolute highlight for connoisseurs!

Unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. When we came in, the owner was very rude to us. The place was very busy. As a former restaurant worker, I understand the stress of a lunch rush. But taking it out on guests is just unacceptable. The rest of the staff was okay, albeit not very professional. The food was average at best, which was disappointing given the price tag. The only nice thing about this place is the amazing view from the terrace. But overall, it was a very bad experience!

First there was chicken broth, with some meat, vegetables and mini Maultaschen. The broth was helped with powder, but given the price there is no other way to do it. The bolognaise was free of vegetable strips, in my opinion also onions and a real tomato taste. Vegetables and onions would also depress the EK. And canned tomatoes too. That's how it went
