Apparently, the hours listed here are incorrect, and the restaurant is only open in the evenings, if at all. If you call the number provided (a cell phone number) to reserve a table, a nameless man answers and first asks which restaurant you'd like to reserve. When you explain your request, he says, "Oh, hmm, they're actually only open in the evenings." He says he'll "clarify" it and then call back—which he will never do. It's all very dubious.

We're always happy to come back! There's something for everyone on the menu. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Very child-friendly. We always enjoy coming here.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We celebrated our wedding at Kaufmann's Restaurant in Gelnhausen, and I can only say it was an unforgettable experience! Booking the large banquet hall was extremely straightforward. The entire team was friendly and professional, which helped us a lot with the planning. We felt well-advised and supported from the very beginning. The service during our celebration was simply fantastic. The staff was attentive and ensured our guests were completely satisfied. The buffet was an absolute delight! The variety of different dishes was impressive, and everything was freshly and deliciously prepared. Our guests loved the food and were thrilled with the selection. Another highlight was the DJ, who livened up the evening with great music. It was wonderful to see everyone having fun on the dance floor, and the good vibe continued throughout the evening. Overall, it was a perfect evening, and I am so grateful that we were able to celebrate our wedding at Kaufmann's. A huge thank you to the team for the excellent service and the great atmosphere – we will always remember this day fondly!

We waited over an hour for the food. They just told us, "We only have one pizza oven and it only holds 8 pizzas," so plan on waiting plenty of time.

A very long wait until the order was taken (25 minutes) and again until the food could be served (approx. 35-40 minutes). Sparkling water was only available uncooled, the shandy I ordered was a beer, the Coke Zero was a diet, and the bill ended up being charged for a small water, a large one, and the water I ordered but didn't get was also charged in full. (We got our money back in the end.) The vegetarian meal was very good. (Grilled beets) Djueg rice and ajwa were the good ones. The salad before the main course was very tasty. But... the other four dishes (meat dishes) were not good. - Some of the ground meat was not cooked all the way through. - The fries were burnt and hard. Not tasty! After the four plates of meat were cleared away after a few bites and the kitchen returned, I would have expected the owner to inquire about what was wrong. The waitress tried very hard, but the structure in this restaurant is not good.
