Apparently the times given here are not correct and the shop is only open in the evenings, if at all. If you call the number provided (a cell phone number) to reserve a table, you will be answered by a nameless man who will first ask which restaurant you would like to make a reservation for. If you raise your concerns, he says: “Oh, hmm, they’re actually only open in the evenings.” He wants to “clarify” it and then call you back - which he will never do. Everything is very dubious.

What a wonderful evening! We had a company event with about 40 people and had the restaurant to ourselves. A wonderful atmosphere, delicious food, and fantastic staff (I accidentally didn't order dessert, but they still conjured up a wonderful selection for us). We felt very comfortable and can wholeheartedly recommend Kaufmanns!

Vinum Gelnhausen/Romanesque house on the Untermarkt Were invited to a family celebration (approx. 40 people) in the Romanesque house. The location was clean and decorated appropriately for the occasion. The staff was friendly and competent towards us guests. Drink orders were served quite quickly. The dishes offered from the buffet and grill were very tasty 😋 and plentiful. The parking spaces at the Untermarkt are subject to a charge. You should find out about parking options in advance.
