It was very relaxing and you could really enjoy the theater piece.

Very friendly staff, very attentive. Dogs are very welcome. Even gave treats and a water bowl. Gluten-free pizza or pasta possible. The pizza was very tasty.

Fantastic view of the Weser River. But at the counter, they only sell sleeping pills with zero knowledge of gastronomy... You can also cut corners. Above all, it's expensive; the location is also worth paying for.

We have enjoyed coming here again and again for many, many years, preferably in the summer of course, (or) when it is warm enough to sit outside. The food is always delicious, the service is attentive and friendly and you can sit comfortably outside and enjoy your time at Matisse! 😋☺️

We were there for breakfast/brunch in December. The rooms were cold and drafty. When you asked, you were given a blanket to wrap yourself in. Baked goods, cold cuts, cheese, etc., were not labeled with possible allergy triggers, lactose-free or similar. When I asked, I found out that the lactose-free milk was oat milk and there was even a plate with 5 slices of dill cheese in front of me (that was the lactose-free breakfast). The tomatoes in the salad were not ripe. No honey for breakfast. No quark. The price is much too expensive for what was offered. Shortly after going to the buffet, my husband had to ask for plates, which he also received upon request. There was chilled sparkling wine next to orange juice, but no bottle was open. So no one took any sparkling wine. Not recommended for breakfast. Breakfast cost 25 euros and that included the first coffee. You had to pay for a second one.

We took my mom here today for her 89th birthday. There were five of us, 2 Cityfor2 books at the table were no problem. That's really great :) We were given a very warm welcome and the fact that we were now one more person wasn't a problem at all. It was quickly "rebuilt". The table was decorated differently than the other tables because of my birthday... very attentive <3 The food... a poem in my eyes. Each of us 5 was very happy with the preparations and our eyes could also eat. We had another dessert and a nightcap. Oh yes, there was also a little greeting from the kitchen for the birthday child... wonderful... Simply a wonderful evening that really makes you want to come back. Thank you! Full 5 stars in all areas from me :)

We got all dressed up one evening to throw the lobster out of its shell. For every lobsterholic, an absolute lobster hammer dream without any misery. We also ordered a truffle burger with mortadella. At first it sounded like a wild creation, but since no tractor sausage was used, this combination surprised us very positively. We'll be back, ahoy!

We had made reservations early and wanted to have a nice birthday dinner. Even though the restaurant wasn't fully occupied, we were given the most inconvenient table between the toilet access and the drafty entrance. Unfortunately, we weren't happy about the dirty wall our table was against either. So I can't say much about the ambience - I somehow felt like I'd had my breakfast at the door. The service was friendly and reserved and the food was excellent.

The Knipp with fried potatoes and applesauce is highly recommended. The staff is also very friendly and you can also watch football. Gladly again. Watch the Bundesliga without Sky? Off to September and watch 22 people play football with home cooking and beers who are earning millions from it. 😜

The positive first: a nice ambience and delicious cocktails. Now unfortunately for the negative: totally overcrowded, so that you could hardly stand or sit at the table because you were jostled from all sides. Getting from the square to the bar was almost impossible. The staff was very stressed, which meant that there was no nice service at all. They overcharged for the cocktails, and despite pointing this out, I didn't get my remaining money back. In addition, a very long wait for the drinks. A few unpleasant guests with inappropriate behavior were also there, but nothing was done about them.
