High-quality and very tasty food. Portions are generously sized.

We were at the fire station for a funeral party. If there were, I would give it 10 points. The ambience is great in itself. The food was unique, the staff was friendly, attentive, courteous, respectful and really quick right up to the last second. Everything together resulted in an unforgettable event. We thank you for that from the bottom of our hearts!

Update March 2025: Today we unfortunately had to wait significantly longer than an hour for our food (2 daily specials, a pizza and one risotto). This long waiting time repeatedly spoils the otherwise positive impression. Old review: We went to the fire station for an early dinner for the first time today and we really enjoyed it! Salads, pizza and pasta, all great. Very attentive service that also points out food intolerances. Only the desserts fall a bit short in comparison and only deserve four stars. Nice outdoor area behind the restaurant with evening sun. We were definitely not here for the last time! Update: Everything was great inside on Friday evening, but unfortunately the waiting times were a bit long this time - but it was also very full. Update Nov. 2024: Great again, this time our desserts too 😀

After visiting the magic theater, we reserved a table in the former fire station. Very nice atmosphere, the old fire station can still be felt in the restaurant. The restaurant was busy at the weekend, reservations are recommended. The service team was attentive and served us quickly. We had acceptable waiting times for food and drink. The pizzas were tasty and, in our opinion, very filling. The price/performance was okay. Recommended for a visit, especially after the magic theater due to the very short distances.

The food wasn't great, but it was relatively expensive. The pizza was ok, but not a Neapolitan masterpiece. Like most in the Überseestadt, the store is very large and offers mostly convenience items.

We were at the fire station at noon on February 13, 2025. The unfriendliness of the waitress spoiled my visit there. I don't know why she acted like that towards us, but it immediately seemed like we were annoying guests. As soon as we placed the tables, she suggested what we would be waiting for, as there were enough tables available. When taking the order I asked what they had to drink as she had previously only given us the meal tickets. The answer was roughly what there could be to drink. When I said I didn't know because we didn't receive a drink menu, she gave it to us without further ado. At the end, when we wanted to pay, it was rather unpleasant to ask for the bill, as the entire staff in the service area was sitting together at the table to eat and drink themselves (in itself, it was totally fine if there had been someone else working) and we would have preferred not to bother at all. The way it was done somehow left a strange aftertaste.

Good for meeting up with friends and colleagues to spend a few nice hours.

The ambience and the very service were perfect, only the food was good; Ordered a 250g rare rump steak with fries and herb butter. We got a rump steak 250g rare medium with a 100g edge of fat, which was so tough that even the good pizza knives couldn't get through it. Whoever buys the meat in this restaurant should be replaced! Not a nice evening for me and my girlfriend. After all, you go to a restaurant to eat and not for the ambience because it is an "old" fire station. Too bad

Excellent service and great food, unfortunately several fish were overcooked, perhaps too long under the salamander, but we were a large group. Nice ambience, unfortunately strong reverberation due to the high ceilings. Overall we had a very nice evening.

It's very beautiful here. I was happy that gluten-free pizza was offered here, it was also very tasty. Only when I then order a dessert, in this case crème brulee, do I ask myself why cake crumbs are sprinkled on the scoop of ice cream that comes with it? This should be pointed out if you order gluten-free pizza beforehand! In my case it wasn't quite as tragic as it was just an intolerance, but if someone had a real allergy it probably wouldn't have been so nice. Everything else was really good. Only your toilets stink like I don't know what?

The two of us with a dog went there for dinner. The staff was very nice and attentive. The food came quickly. The Iberico cutlet with truffle mashed potatoes, pumpkin wedges and rosemary jus was very tasty. The Margherita pizza was average. The ambience of the old vehicle hall is rustic chic.

I had dinner with my husband and child and we ordered 1 normal pizza and 1 gluten-free pizza because I have celiac disease. When I ordered I specifically said that it had to be gluten free. The food was delicious (....) and I let our child let off steam at the toy box. Unfortunately, back home I had a bad stomach ache and spent a night on the toilet - which is typical of a gluten accident. When I looked at the bill the next day, I saw that there was no gluten-free surcharge. I assume that the gluten-free pizza I ordered wasn't gluten-free and for just under 26 euros I had a great night in the toilet and a small intestinal infection. Absolutely not recommended for celiac disease!!

Reservation worked perfectly! Pizzas are wonderfully hot and tasty, the base is thin and cross, the toppings are good and not overdone. Our service was a dream and almost fulfilled our wish!! Great performance by the entire team! Time management before visiting the magic show above the restaurant worked perfectly! Would love to eat there again!!!!

A great restaurant in itself. Been there again after a long time. Great food, friendly and helpful staff. However, the problem of a lack of staff is also noticeable here. But that now affects the entire gastonomy.

The ambience is very nice and the decoration partly matches the name. The staff is very friendly, quick and just great. The food is super delicious. Price and performance are perfect for everything together. You couldn't complain if it were a little more expensive.

A nice place away from the tourist hotspots directly at the Bremen Holzhafen. Delicious lunch that was still offered after 3 p.m. And friendliest staff. You can tell that people work with passion here. Definitely recommended for your next visit to Bremen.

Very nicely located at the harbor basin. Unfortunately the fish soup wasn't my thing, it was a bit sour. But Magen persevered. Next time I'll order a pizza. The service was very good. We'd love to come back.

The asparagus was too little, planned for 500g, and the schnitzel was so thin that every buffer was thicker. The asparagus to aldente. The Alster was given Sprite in a glass and mixed with the beer in the bottle. Impossible. All of this is completely overpriced for performance.

I had the beef fillet with steak fries and a red wine. The red wine was a bit too drinkable for me personally, but the meat was tender and tasty and the steak fries were perhaps even perfect. We were guests with the DAVC Bremen-Lower Saxony regional group for an asparagus dinner on June 16th, in great weather, with 45 participants and 24 classic and classic cars. We were there for the first time with our family today and were thrilled. The service was very friendly and quick, and the food was on the table just as quickly. For me Pasta di Manzo and Vitello Tonnato. The taste is in no way inferior to the appearance - simply an experience and absolutely recommended. Price/performance is great! We will be back.

We always enjoy eating here. No matter whether private or business. I think it's best at lunchtime. If it is very crowded it can be a bit louder inside. The architecture is just like that. In summer you can also sit outside at the harbor head.

The service was attentive, we got the food quickly and the food tasted good. We had the gluten-free pasta carbonara “Fire Station”, where the pasta was in the water a little too long, and the gutel-free pizza “Fire Station” speciale, where in some places it looked as if the dough wasn’t baked all the way through. I would have thought it would have been nice if both people at the table had ordered gluten-free main courses and the dessert had been left without the biscuit crumb decoration. It only got two stars overall because it turned out late in the evening that the dishes apparently weren't gluten-free. Traces wouldn't be a problem, but the symptoms suggest that an entire dish may have contained gluten. Therefore, I cannot recommend the restaurant for people with gluten intolerance. There is a very strong smell in the women's toilets.

The only thing that was a bit annoying was the volume in the room. Otherwise, the food was great and the service was fine.

Went to the fire station for the first time and I was really excited. The location is not too big, there is plenty of space. Great location and you have a beautiful view. The service was great. We had a nice, funny and attentive waiter. The pizza we had was super tasty. Rich in salami and so big that it towered over the plate.. Thank you for the lovely evening with you..

Everything is getting more expensive, okay. But charging 3€ for 2 small pizza rolls that are served with the meal is quite steep. In other restaurants this is included.

Very tasty (Italian) food in a harbor atmosphere. For me one of the best pizzas in town. The sunset on the terrace is always worth a visit.

Very good Italian in a wonderful atmosphere. We firefighters love that! It's best to make a reservation, the old vehicle hall is very popular. We were lucky, a table for 4 wasn't fully occupied and was quickly converted into 2 tables for couples. TOP service. The atmosphere in the team is great, which has an impact on the guests (all shifts) and especially on the food. The preparation is not run-of-the-mill but first-class with quality. We would love to come back when we are in Bremen again.

We came spontaneously on a Thursday evening and found a sunny spot on the terrace with a beautiful view of the harbor basin and the neighboring harbor casino. The pizza tastes good even without cheese and there are even vegan desserts (sorbet and vegan cheesecake). The service was very attentive, friendly and well informed. A visit to the fire station is always worth it :)

Great location! The food can also be recommended. Price/performance ratio is right. It was a bit strange that with a group of 12 people we were allowed to put together a maximum of three tables outside, even though another one was free and we were also willing to occupy 2x2 tables, which the boss, who was just leaving, thought was okay. The other waiters absolutely didn't want to grant us this - no option, so 4 people had their pasta on their laps and had to eat it like that. We had a number of foreign guests, so the impression was extremely bad.

I was there with the company and had a pizza. The pizza was delicious and all the other colleagues were also very happy with the food. So I highly recommend eating there. The person sitting next to me had noodles with beef. There was a lot of meat and it looked great too.
