Renoir in Bremen

We waited almost half an hour to order drinks (Saturday evening). The food arrived after about 40 minutes and was served with extreme disrespect. The food at our tables varied in quality. My meal (chicken breast with vegetables—I had opted for fries, but they omitted the vegetables instead of offering me both) was served very bare. Meat with a small portion of fries on a plate. I could have arranged that nicely at home. The children's pizza was partially burnt on the bottom. The calamari with fries was not tasty. The two servers seemed somewhat overwhelmed. We were very disappointed and will not be returning.

We were there on Saturday evening. There were four of us. The service was, as always, very attentive. The owner immediately thanked us for the review from last time. The food was, as always, excellent.

Contrary to the information on the website, there was no lunch menu today for Halloween. I ordered à la carte; and lo and behold! The chef was indeed in Halloween spirit. Or perhaps Reformation Day? 1. Tagliatelle with salmon: A rather meager portion of fish with pasta in a delicious cream sauce, somewhat carelessly slapped onto the plate. The promised Parmesan was sadly missing. 2. The classic Saltimbocca: Three unidentifiable, overcooked, dry pieces of meat wrapped in some kind of ham, no sage whatsoever, and the potato wedges tasted like they'd been reheated yesterday. Luckily, Halloween is over tomorrow. On the plus side: The service was excellent. What a shame.

We had lunch at Renoir in Walle. Tagliatelle with shrimp and a casserole with potatoes, spinach, and mushrooms in a Gorgonzola sauce were both €9.90, including a soup of the day. The quality was excellent, absolutely delicious. Very friendly service and a really lovely atmosphere.

Visually, the downsizing is a real improvement. Beautiful, cozy, modern, and comfortable. A charming welcome from the owner (?) and a young woman. The lunch special was attractively priced and excellent. A huge portion of tagliatelle with shrimp was perfectly cooked with a wonderfully diverse and fresh vegetable sauce, seasoned with a pleasant tang. The potato gratin with Gorgonzola was equally impressive. And let's not forget the soup; a different one every day. Today it was spinach soup, delicious with a freshly baked roll. The regular menu also offers a huge selection. The prices are very reasonable. The restaurant attracts a diverse clientele and seems to be very popular. The drinks are also reasonably priced. They even serve Kräusen (a type of Austrian coffee) and a wonderful latte.

Everything was great. I'd gladly come back anytime. It's really worth it.

Today's lunch was delicious. For €13.90, a tomato and ginger soup and a grilled plaice fillet with fried potatoes and cucumber salad... sensational. We'll definitely be back. The service was also very friendly and attentive. Top-notch.

We spontaneously went there for dinner yesterday. We had two pizzas and one chicken strips. The pizza I had was incredibly delicious. They also accommodated my request for two different toppings on the pizza. The other two dishes were also described as very tasty. It was a bit noisy since we were sitting outside, but you're aware of that. The staff was super friendly and very attentive. The food and drinks were all brought at the same time. We'd be happy to come back.

We celebrated our 37th wedding anniversary with a delicious dinner, the staff were very attentive and courteous, a thoroughly enjoyable evening, we would gladly return, Petra and Michael

The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated. The owner is usually welcoming and very friendly. The food and the value for money are excellent. Unfortunately, some of the staff are sometimes very stressed and show this to the guests.

We had made reservations early and wanted to have a nice birthday dinner. Even though the restaurant wasn't fully occupied, we were given the most inconvenient table between the toilet access and the drafty entrance. Unfortunately, we weren't happy about the dirty wall our table was against either. So I can't say much about the ambience - I somehow felt like I'd had my breakfast at the door. The service was friendly and reserved and the food was excellent.

The food was good but not great either. The portions were quite small for the price.

There is no price/performance ratio. Portions are terribly small and far from tasty. You could count ravioli on two hands and they were just swimming in an oil sauce. It's a shame, but we won't eat here again.

Food: I had the pleasure of trying the juicy chicken with creamy risotto - a real taste explosion! The meat was perfectly grilled, the risotto was wonderfully creamy and the combination with the crispy chips was simply brilliant. The meat dish with pepper sauce and potato wedges was also a delight – tender, spicy and perfectly seasoned. Service: The service was consistently friendly and attentive. The waiters were warm, took the time to make recommendations and made sure we didn't miss anything. The waiting times were pleasantly short and we were always served with a smile. Ambience: The restaurant impresses with its cozy and tasteful furnishings. The atmosphere is pleasantly relaxed and invites you to enjoy good food in peace. Whether for dinner for two or a meeting with friends – you will feel completely at home here. Conclusion: A great restaurant that I can fully recommend - I will definitely come back!

Unser Valentine‘s Date war schneller beendet, als es angefangen hat. Meine Freundin und ich sind ein lesbisches Paar und wollten ein romantisches Essen im Renoir genießen. Das Valentins-Tags-Angebot: „Grillplattte für Paare“ hat uns zugesagt, aber als wir bestellt haben, hieß es: „nur für Mann und Frau“. Damit war unser Date vorbei. Nie wieder. Es war sowieso total leer und sah nicht schön aus von innen. Das Essen hätte bestimmt auch nicht geschmeckt.

We went to the restaurant with friends and had a nice time. The service is perfect, the staff is very friendly and helpful. However, a normal person has to order twice to get full. The portions are really small – no exaggeration, they are extremely small. We had to place a new order because the portions of everything we ordered were extremely small. This was our order from the menu: 117, 116, 79, 111. Maybe it will be improved because the food tastes delicious, but it's just not enough.

The overall atmosphere was very nice. The food was very tasty. The service is always very attentive. I had grilled chicken with vegetables and tiramisu for dessert. Unfortunately I forgot the picture. There is also pizza and delicious pasta. Prices are also very reasonable. I can highly recommend the Renoir.

We spontaneously came to a Christmas party with 20 people because another restaurateur (La Flaneur) put us up. 20 dishes served at the same time, drinks brought promptly and delicious food. Thank you very much, you are a great team!!!

Delicious food with top service! Renoir surprised me. In my hungry search for lunch, I went to Vegesacker Straße and the shop spoke to me. The staff was very accommodating, tried hard, super friendly and professional. The food was delicious, served with a side salad and came quickly. The rooms seemed very well maintained and new to me. The toilets are lovingly furnished and very tidy. Only the outdoor spaces directly on the street lead to a slight points deduction. Sitting outside is still possible when the weather is good.

Also, habe gegen Mittag Pizza, cannelloni und Salat bestellt! Zum mitnehmen! Der Salat sollte grundsätzlich überarbeitet werden!!! Für 9 Euro eine katastrophe! Die große Tomate in 4 Vierteln, wie soll man das essen? Gurke lieblos mit Schale, unmöglich zum Verzehr! Dressing halbwegs ok! Lieblos zubereitet! Was für ein Koch?? Pizza ok, leider dann kalt, kann der Koch nichts für! Cannelloni in Aluschale ist auch nicht gut!

Went there spontaneously today with a friend. Had great food. Staff very attentive and friendly. Rustic atmosphere / well attended. This increases the volume :) which I don't find annoying. Brings life into the place. Gladly again 🙌

I have been a regular guest for years and always enjoy coming to the Renoir on a regular basis. Despite changes, the shop has become smaller and the owner has changed, it is still of high quality. The food is freshly prepared, very tasty and fills you up. There is always a friendly atmosphere, the boss and the service team are approachable and attentive. Acoustic panels were retrofitted and even when the store is full, I can have a good conversation. Value for money is perfect. And important for dog owners: Our four-legged friends are welcome and are also served their own water bowl. My favorite place ❤️

Update May 2024: Unfortunately it's no longer my favorite restaurant but still worth a visit! Price wise. Meat/grilled dishes cost around €19, pizzas around €12. Unfortunately the pizza dough is no longer the same as it used to be. The sauce basically floated on it and the bottom was no longer crispy except for the edge. The restaurant has shrunk in size and has unfortunately lost some of its ambience, even if the new design looks very modern. The staff is attentive and friendly. Little thing: The menu for the soups of the day at our table was from mid-2023. Alt: My absolute favorite restaurant in the district! Very good food at fair prices. Very nice service! I can highly recommend the pizzas there, they have a crispy, thin base :)

The food is excellent. The price-performance ratio is okay. The only drawback is the brittle acoustics, which are due to the vaulted cellar and which sometimes make conversation at the table difficult. Otherwise it is an absolutely recommended restaurant.

Diverse menu. Well attended - it is advisable to reserve in advance. Food is okay, sometimes I wasn't quite happy with the quality/freshness. Still tasty.

On a rainy day before Christmas we stopped into the cozy restaurant and were immediately warmly welcomed without making a reservation. Priced at €50 for three people without lunch, there is no flaw to be found here. The carbonara was not Italian, but with cream. This is different from Rome. But in this country it is not cooked any differently. That's the only drawback otherwise everything was perfect. The lasagna was delicious. And there are free rolls, a gesture that is becoming increasingly rare. There is even hand cream and deodorant in the toilet. Even in the best restaurants, this is rare. Very good! A lovely stay all round.

Just arrived (October 27, 2023) from Renoir. Went there again for the first time in a long time, after the renovation. It was way too loud even though the restaurant wasn't very busy. Normal conversation was not possible. So we'll leave there straight after eating. The paint is peeling off the walls above the ceiling. My dish (tapas variations) consisted of several salads that were way too cold (like fresh from the fridge). The other two dishes were quite manageable for €18... After today's visit we won't be eating there again. It's a shame, we used to go there often.

Ordered pizza and tapas, with the red house wine. The service was very nice, friendly and deserves the stars. I had to reject the wine because it was already metamorphosing into vinegar. The vegetarian pizza, on the other hand, made a very good impression. Tapas? Some Serrano, a little Manchego, a gamba, a clam grilled eggplant etc. Unfortunately just a dream. Instead, snake gurri bowls with cold kitchen leftovers. The only things that were edible were the tomatoes with mozzarella, the olives and, if necessary, the fried squid rings. O o

Feines Essen in gemütlicher Atmosphäre, Service orientiert, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Wir waren dort schon einmal. Da hatten wir beide Pasta. Die war auch super. Die Carbonara war ohne Sahne, so wie es sein sollte. Ich wollte dieses Mal die Lasagne probieren. Sie war in Soße ertränkt, es hat geschmeckt wie ein einziger Klumpen. Püriert hätte man keinen Unterschied feststellen können von den Geschmäckern her. Zu viel Käse und auch welcher, der nicht zu einer Lasagne passt(Cheddar). Ich habe weniger als 10% gegessen und musste trotzdem den vollen Preis für die Lasagne zahlen und der Kellner wollte noch mit mir diskutieren, ob ich deren Lasagne noch nie gegessen hätte... Die anderen Kellnerin war allerdings super freundlich. Trotzdem werde ich dort nicht wieder hin gehen.

Sofort für 650€ ein Bild gekauft. Essen und Service sind aber spitze, wirklich.

Das Essen und der Service waren gut, nur bei der Bezahlung haben sie mich über den Tisch gezogen. Ich habe mit meiner Karte bezahlt und wollte eine Quittung haben. Der Mann sagte mir, dass er erst das Papier in dem Gerät erneuern müsste. OK, dann habe ich gesagt, dass ich doch keine Quittung haben möchte. Am nächsten Tag habe ich feststellen müssen, dass mir 3€ zuviel abgezogen wurde. Ich hatte schon 3€ Trinkgeld gegeben und fand das schon großzügig genug. Doch 6€ fand ich viel zu viel... Der Laden sieht mich nie wieder! Lasst euch deshalb bitte immer eine Rechnung geben!

Vorzügliches Essen und guter Service zeichnen dieses Restaurant aus. Die Räumlichkeiten sind gemütlich, an der Bestühlung in Sachen bequem könnte man noch arbeiten. Prima auch die Möglichkeit, unter großen Schirmen draußen zu sitzen.

Nach einem Konzert in der Immanuel Kapelle, waren wir müde und hungrig. Es war fast 22 Uhr und alle umliegenden Restaurants geschlossen. Im Renoir hat man uns trotz später Stunde sehr liebevoll und freundlich aufgenommen. Das Essen war super lecker und das Personal besonders aufmerksam. Danke, gerne bald wieder!

Leckeres Essen und exzellente Service

Super Restaurant! Unsere Pasta war super und hat toll geschmeckt, auf unsere Extrawünsche wurde eingegangen und der alkoholfreie Cocktail war einfach bombenlecker! Die asiatisch aussehende Kellnerin war total freundlich und war immer mal bei uns am Tisch, um nachzufragen, ob wir noch etwas brauchen. Nicht zu oft und nicht zu selten, sie war echt super und hat mir den leckeren Cocktail nebenbei auch empfohlen 😁 Der Betreiber hat das ebenfalls getan und richtiges Interesse daran gezeigt, seine Gäste zufrieden zu stellen. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder! PS: Wir hatten ein kleines Gericht dazu bestellt. Für Gorgonzolafans ein Muss, nur haben wir das erste mal davon probiert und wir haben festgestellt, dass dieser Käse einfach nicht unser Fall ist. Man will ja mal neue Sachen ausprobieren. Jedenfalls ist dem Betreiber aufgefallen, dass die Pilze kaum angerührt wurden und er hat uns gefragt, ob alles okay ist und wir haben ihm erklärt, dass wir etwas Neues ausprobieren wollten. Tatsächlich wussten wir nicht, dass Gorgonzola so intensiv schmeckt. Und er hat doch tatsächlich das Gericht nicht verrechnet. Das haben wir wirklich nicht verlangt, allerdings zeigt das, wie außerordentlich kulant und freundlich der Betreiber mit Gästen umgeht. Ein echt tolles Restaurant!

Esse im Renoir (damals noch in der Lesumer Filiale) seit meiner Kindheit. Immer nette Bedienstete, immer leckeres Essen, immer eine Atmosphäre, die einen willkommen heißt. Ein mit Leidenschaft geführtes Familienunternehmen, das stets ein offenes Ohr hat für Verbesserungsvorschläge.

Leckeres Essen und angenehme Atmosphäre

Wir waren lange Zeit nicht mehr im Renoir in Walle und daher sehr über die Verkleinerung des Restaurants überrascht, denn versehentlich sind wir zuerst in das Nachbar-Imbiss/Restaurant reingegangen :D Das Essen war gut und auch der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich. Die 2 Sterne ziehen wir wegen der Dessert Variation für 2 Personen ab. Die Creme Brûlée war flockig, das Erdbeereis kristallisiert, der Apfelstrudel war sehr sehr hart und das eintunken der Löffelbiskuits vom Tiramisu war wohl zu gut gemeint.. Der Kaffee lief quasi aus den Keksen heraus. Wir haben den Teller somit nicht wirklich genießen können. Dies teilten wir später auch dem Service mit, aber eingegangen ist dieser darauf nicht. Zum Essen kommen wir gerne noch einmal wieder, fürs Dessert überlegen wir uns dann was anderes :)

Das Essen war sehr stark gesalzen, das mag Geschmackssache sein, schmeckte aber dennoch sehr gut. Es gab vegane Speisen, das fand ich sehr gut, aber der Tofu schmeckte mir nicht. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und Getränkebestellungen waren immer schnell am Tisch. Die Räumlichkeiten sind sehr ansprechend, aber es war leider sehr laut. Für Familien mit Baby eher nicht geeignet.

War zum ersten Mal dort alles war super ein tolles Weihnachtsessen . Lieben Dank bis bald 🥰💝🙏🍷

Jährlich zum Weihnachtsessen dort. Personal stehts freundlich und bemüht, sehr gute Küche. Alles was durch die Lade kommt sieht köstlich aus und ist schön angerichtet. Ich nehme meistens das Steak, welches außen schön geschlossen, kross braun, innen saftig, zart und rosarot sehr zu empfehlen ist. Wenn man nichts sagt kommt es medium rare. Dazu dieses mal leckere Gnocchi mit frischen Gemüse und seperat gereichter Sauce. Als Nachtisch, Apfelstrudel mit Vanillieeis. Eis in kugelkleinen Schälchen neben den Geschmackvollen mit Minze garnierten Strudel. Die Qualität war jedes mal gleichwertig gut.

Gutes Essen, ordentliche Portionen und netter, schneller Service. Und das alles zu humanen Preisen. Weiter so! 👍

Wie überall ist der Mittagstisch auch hier kein Schnäppchen mehr, aber er ist seinen Preis wert. Leckere Fisch-und Fleisch-Gerichte mit frischem Gemüse, Salat und Vorsuppe in entspannter Atmosphäre. Service unaufdringlich freundlich. Für mich sehr gut geeignet für eine kleine Auszeit über Mittag.

Das Essen war sehr gut. Die Akustik ist allerdings nicht so gut. Würde trotzdem wieder kommen.

Der Tapas Vorspeisen Teller ist sehr zu empfehlen.

War ok aber nicht gut. In meinem veganen Essen war ein Stück Fleisch. Als ich es der Kellnerin sagte, wurde mir ein Getränk als Entschuldigung angeboten. Als ich dann ein Glas Wasser aussuchte sagte sie „nein lieber Kaffee“. Abends um 19 Uhr auf einen Sonntag möchte ich aber keinen Kaffee… Dann sagte sie „ja dann nicht“ und hat abkassiert… Fand ich nicht so nett… Essen war durchschnittlich aber für den Preis erwartet man mehr… der Pizzateig war nicht selbst gemacht sondern ein Patti. Das Gemüse war sehr sehr wenig… alles in allem 3 Sterne sind ok.

Wir waren heute Mittag bei Ihnen Mittagstisch essen und wurden leider sehr enttäuscht. Zu meiner Wenigkeit Ich hatte das Hähnchenbrustfilet gefüllt mit Spinat und Mozzarella. Da muss ich leider anmerken das, dass Hähnchen leider roh war, der Spinat meiner Meinung nach ziemlich trockenen und ungewürzt. Die Kellnerin hat es zur Kenntnis genommen aber das war’s dann leider auch schon . Meine Frau hatte das Rotbarschfilet mit dem Kohlrabigemüse. Meine Meinung dazu, dass Filet hatte ziemlich viele Gräten, der Kohlrabi war lecker und gut abgeschmeckt aber der Sud hätte evtl. etwas Bindung gebrauchen können. Waren schon öfter dort aber heute war es leider nicht so gut wie man es sonst gewohnt ist. Beste Grüße

Wir waren gestern mit mehreren Leuten dort... Essen war wie immer super...aber ich habe selten so schlechtes Personal erlebt... Die waren so gelangweilt das wirklich niemand ein Lächeln oder zumindest ein freundliches Gesicht hatte... Also wenn ich Essen gehe, möchte ich mich schon willkommen fühlen und nicht so, als würde ich mit meiner Bestellung nerven... Es gibt ohne Ende Restaurants wo man sein Geld lassen kann und willkommen ist...
