Yesterday, a group of 12 of us ate there. Making a reservation was incredibly difficult. We had to call five times because only one person can reserve a table. Absolutely unacceptable. After four unsuccessful calls, we chose a different restaurant for Christmas. Now, about yesterday: The ambiance is rustic and actually quite cozy, however, we were relegated to the conservatory. There, gas-powered heaters only provide warmth above ground. After waiting an hour for our food, we were completely frozen, which ruined the whole atmosphere. They offer thin blankets, but when you're already freezing, they're useless. The waitress was very attentive and brought a second blanket, but the draft from the partially open windows made the second blanket ineffective. Frankly, it's outrageous to serve guests there. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The price-performance ratio could be improved. As we personally discovered, even those with hearty appetites sometimes don't get enough to eat. ... The dish at Platzhirsch, the giant schnitzel (300g) with fries and salad, was very thin and barely seasoned. The arugula leaves were very dry because there was no dressing, and they were stingy with the fries. We used to enjoy eating there, but after yesterday's experience, we'll think twice. What a shame...

I had lunch at Platzhirsch today and would like to thank our server, Irini, for her attentive yet unobtrusive manner. She has served me three times now, and each time I have had nothing but praise for her. She always had an eye for our needs. For guests who had to wait longer today due to the large number of groups, she found the right words, and none of the guests seemed dissatisfied. Irini makes you feel very well taken care of, and I look forward to my next visit to Platzhirsch.

Our Bavarian adventure continues with a friendly recommendation. The best thing we did on the whole trip. A great atmosphere, excellent service, and a menu with plenty of options. I opted for the beef burger, and it was spectacular. A reinvention of the traditional burger and fries, which I highly recommend.

A fantastic time in the cabin, great fun, music was perfect for everyone, we celebrated, sang, danced, and laughed, and the staff was cheerful, friendly, and efficient. The only downside was the truly awful food. The sauce was like water, the dumplings were mushy, the duck was tough, and the schnitzel tasted terrible and was greasy. "Crusted roast pork??? No way!" Several others shared this negative opinion, but I also heard some people who thought the food was good. The one star is for the delicious dessert.

Fantastic fun at the hut! The food was absolutely delicious and the attentive service left nothing to be desired; the DJ was also top-notch. We'll be back!

It was okay, but I wouldn't come back. My fried potatoes had more onions than potatoes, and my meat was overcooked and didn't taste very good. The vegetables were also rather bland. The service was friendly and lively, which we appreciated, but unfortunately, we were completely ignored by everyone else after we finished eating, so we didn't feel like ordering dessert. A real shame.

We ordered pan-fried fish. The result was embarrassing. The potatoes weren't cooked. The fish (two pieces) was dry and very small. The sauce was tasteless. The service was friendly and helpful. However, overall, this dish was far too expensive. So we'll be giving Plarzgirschen a wide berth from now on.

Very friendly and attentive service, a lovely, rustic ambiance. There are tables outside on the terrace, right next to a miniature golf course. Inside, there's also a conservatory heated by radiators. The food was delicious and arrived very quickly. We'd love to come back!

We ate at Platzhirschen again after a very long time. The service and ambiance were top-notch as always. The food was also delicious. Unfortunately, the Wiener Schnitzel was very thick. After pointing it out to the staff, they offered us a new one. Since it tasted fine, we declined. Next time, I'll just let you know in advance that I'd like it very thin. 😊

We were at Platzhirsch on Wednesday. It wasn't very busy, so we sat in the winter garden. The service was friendly and always on point. The meal was simply fantastic. It was rounded off with a delicious dessert. We felt very comfortable there and will definitely return if we're in the area again.

I tried to reserve a table for the afternoon by phone. No one answered the phone for ages. (It was a rainy day.) Then I tried by email. It said they couldn't accept written reservations for 11 people, and I should try by phone. So I chose another location. Probably closed because of their wealth...

New owner for a year, good service, staff in uniform 👍 and very friendly. However, the quality of the food is rather poor. Fish fried to death, plates carelessly presented, Wiener schnitzel completely covered in salty breading. I wouldn't even use the word "cooking" in this context. It's far too loud inside, making conversation almost impossible. It's more reminiscent of a brewery than a restaurant.

The waitress nudged me away without any help or apology. The manager unnecessarily scolded me for bringing food for a colleague with food intolerances – despite prior arrangements. I wouldn't book again!

We held our company event there. From the reservation to the mini golf course, to the service and the food, everything was top-notch. We'd definitely repeat and highly recommend it.

Friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere. One star for the food. In our case, it was Käsespätzle (lukewarm, swimming in cream) and Maultaschen (swimming in oily soup, no broth). The salad wasn't well dressed either. Perhaps they have better dishes, but we'd only go there for a beer; the atmosphere is good.

Simply a great restaurant. The portions have gotten smaller here, too. But I can still recommend it 100%. We paid about €115 for three people.

We celebrated here this weekend with about 35 people and booked the winter garden. It was the perfect event for us, thanks again to the entire team! The barbecue buffet was excellent, with plenty of options for vegans too. The waiters were fantastic – warm, friendly, service-oriented, and cheerful until the very end. From 10 p.m. onwards, we had the outdoor area to ourselves and had a fantastic party – the event organizer provided us with the sound system. All in all, as I said, a complete success; there's simply nothing to complain about, and I would definitely call us discerning guests.

Nice restaurant with beer garden

Quite okay, but probably not a second visit given the prices these days, and I don't mean that exaggeratedly. I've been playing the restaurant game for 20 years 😉 and it's simply too expensive for the quality of the food! And nothing too average, where I would say top-notch, and we had six different main courses and a few starters... makes the menu smaller but better... meat patties with potato salad, or proper sausage salad, or a proper knuckle of pork, not those brewery-style imitations. The service was excellent, though 👍

Looking for a quick lunch, we found this place following the "P+R" signs. We received a friendly welcome, and our order was quickly taken and served. The burgers, salad, and schnitzel we ordered were very good and certainly sufficient.

Actually a nice place, but... We were there last week with a group of 37 people. We booked a barbecue buffet. There was chicken, Krakauer (traditional sausages), bratwurst, a really unusual cooked shashlik, a bit of pork neck, and beef. The mixed salad had no dressing, then there were potatoes and coleslaw, a bit of tzatziki, and side dishes like grilled vegetables, corn, and potatoes. All in all, a rather mediocre buffet, nothing great there, especially the potato salad, which looked more like it had been bought and thrown into a bowl. The beef was very good, and the only expensive part of the entire buffet. It cost a whopping €50 per person, even for children!!!!! (3 people with drinks + tip €185) The service was also rather poor; I had to wait about 30 minutes for my beer. So, the price/performance ratio was completely out of balance. ...the next family reunion will be somewhere else next time.

We chose this restaurant based on the reviews and ambiance and were completely disappointed. All the preparatory work for the reviews was done by the previous owner, who unfortunately gave up the business. The food was disastrous; you can't get anything fresh here; everything is over-fried and dripping in oil when served. The salad, without any seasoning, is a blob of liquid seasoning that doesn't taste good at all. Getting something like this over-fried for that price is a complete rip-off! I'd be better off at any bistro than here! Once and never again!

We had a personal celebration at this place. A bit of mini golf and a party. Good barbecue buffet and a great evening. Good food and a perfect evening. Nasir was the best. The assistant chef is an absolute hero.

This was my first time at this restaurant, but definitely not the last :) The outdoor area is beautifully situated. The service was very friendly and, despite it being very busy, they served us super quickly. We ordered the lunch special and can say that the value for money is excellent. Nice place, we were there for mini golf... The food looked good, but unfortunately we couldn't eat anything because they didn't have any gluten-free options... Fries were a bit of a problem... One dish was labeled, but it was still problematic for kids... We'll try the food soon without kids...

A nice restaurant with an adjacent mini-golf course. We had lunch there on a Sunday. It wasn't crowded and there were plenty of free seats! The drinks were brought very quickly, but the food (fries, currywurst, and fries nuggets) was served 40 minutes after the drinks arrived! A much too long wait for these dishes! The food itself wasn't particularly tasty either. It was poorly presented and lukewarm. The fries weren't seasoned, and the sauce wasn't to our taste at all (luckily, tastes differ)! The staff were, well, trying to be nice. The child's crayons were thrown onto the table with the words, "Here, you can draw something." The mini-golf course is quite dated and at times far too crowded. This causes all the groups to play at random, resulting in longer wait times at certain holes.

Yes, today was a real nightmare! Without a reservation, nothing would have been possible (the online reservation worked perfectly). But the guys and girls on duty did a fantastic job and were always kind and friendly despite all the stress. They also kindly informed us when ordering that the food would take a while. But the (as always) delicious food made up for it. Thank you for that!!

We always enjoy coming here. The food, the coffee, the cake, everything is absolutely delicious. The staff is quick and friendly. The outdoor area is beautifully landscaped. If it rains, they have a well-protected area for guests.

By Bremen standards, the Bavarian cuisine is delicious. We had a dinner platter for two, which was all delicious; the service was fast and attentive. The dessert with the Bavarian cream was too sour for me due to the topping. But otherwise, everything was excellent.

The conservatory was quite crowded and accordingly noisy. However, we were able to sit outside with our drinks after dinner and chat.

NO MORE RECOMMENDATIONS... The food arrived much too late and was cold and unappealing. The waiter was completely unfamiliar with customer service in a restaurant and, to put it mildly, rude. The ambiance can't be assessed neutrally if you were annoyed by the food and the waiter's behavior. But... a good example of how not to do it. Conclusion: never again

Yesterday was our last visit. After a fun round of mini-golf, we stopped for a bite to eat...it's just a shame we had to wait 1.5 hours for our order, and as if that wasn't unpleasant enough...no...we were also treated to rude, disrespectful behavior when we dared to ask questions!!! Germany is a service desert, a warm welcome to our paying customers.

If other reviews are to be believed, we must have had a bad day last Saturday. It started with our confirmed lunch reservation for five people being "forgotten," and we were assigned a table for four. Only after our complaint did we get a table with space for the five of us. After taking our order, drinks were served shortly thereafter, but we had to wait an hour and a half for our food. Conversation was barely possible, as a large group was talking so loudly that we almost had to shout at each other. To make matters worse, the women's restroom was broken, so they had to use the men's restroom as well. It was quite chaotic in this busy restaurant. Unfortunately, no one really enjoyed the food itself, the portions were rather small, and we ultimately found the €180 bill unreasonable. The service was friendly, but the kitchen seemed rather overwhelmed by the crowd—unfortunately. The ambiance is quite pleasant, but the excessive alcohol consumption by some guests and their noise levels were not. We won't eat there again and can't really recommend it.

The food is delicious – unfortunately, the beloved potato dumplings were sold out. It was a shame that we had to wait almost an hour for the food. Even when it came to paying, it took a while for the right person to come to us. The atmosphere is great.

As a southern German, one might initially be a little skeptical about whether Spätzle, Maultaschen, and the like can be prepared in the "far north," but in this case, I can confidently say: they do! The food is delicious and well-priced. The rustic decor underlines the innkeeper's atmosphere, but the outdoor seating is particularly pleasant. We received friendly service, and my special request for a smaller portion to try the Maultaschen was kindly accommodated. We were somewhat irritated that a new reservation sign had already been placed on our table during our visit. I can understand the preparation, but it did cause us a bit of uncalled-for stress and frowning. This definitely won't be our last visit.

Great on the outside, terrible on the inside. The food was poor, tasted of dish soap, and according to the waitress, it was even the second time that day. Poor value for money! The pan-fried fish and the cordon bleu were completely overpriced! And bad! It looked like frozen food, for €24??? The potatoes were also a bit old... never again. What a shame.

Where should you go in Bremen in the summer if you want to sit outside in a beautiful setting? Delicious food with a Bavarian twist, like a pork knuckle, but also fancy fish (like plaice) or "Bremensian" (like Knipp)? Then head to Platzhirsch! Fast service, great food, and the kids will be perfectly entertained on the mini-golf course in front!

Rarely eaten so badly. Mass is cash register! Everything had to be fast, fast despite the fact that there were few people. Pricey compared to what you got for it. So not recommended!

We can definitely recommend this restaurant. Almost all the seats were taken, but within 90 minutes we had our main courses, our desserts, and paid. Even with "difficult" customers, the waitresses remained very friendly and calm.

First: Judging the ambiance means that I found what I expected. Here, it was clearly a Bavarian-inspired, pub-style ambiance. The food was plentiful and well-seasoned. There was also a seasonal offering. The appetizers were quite substantial. You should be aware of how hungry you are beforehand. But you can easily take leftovers with you. The service was quite pleasant. Due to the structural situation, you may have to make yourself known, as not all tables are visible from all sides.
