Absolutely great. Delicious, affordable food, cozy atmosphere. There is a small shop nearby and a spacious playground that even older children like. Everything was great!
An absolute insider tip – simply fantastic!
Four of us went to the Zur Silbernen Kanne restaurant and we were all absolutely thrilled. The meal was a real treat - my friends had the lamb skewer and the chicken skewer, both of which were wonderfully seasoned and grilled to perfection. I had the napkin dumplings myself - wonderfully fluffy, perfectly seasoned and simply delicious. My friend had the pork knuckle with dumplings and sauerkraut and was also really impressed - crispy on the outside, tender on the inside and with a great sauce.
You can simply taste that a lot of things are homemade here with love - the quality of the ingredients and the authentic taste speak for themselves.
The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive and warm - you immediately feel welcome here. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, just right for a nice evening with friends or family.
Stylishly furnished restaurant with sophisticated cuisine that stands out from the monotony of the area's pubs, as you can tell from the lovingly prepared plates.
The weekly specials and the catch of the day are highly recommended, but the absolute highlight for me are the steaks, which are purchased from a neighboring butcher shop (from local producers). Both the quality of the meat and the preparation leave nothing to be desired!
The service is attentive and friendly, but above all: never boring or submissive and, with its humorous and cheeky manner (the man in the hat), it meets my taste exactly.
Down-to-earth, delicious, and affordable food. No argument if you "just" order spaetzle with sauce and a side salad. Thank you!
Franconian Sauerbraten (sauerbraten) was delicious: tender meat, very rich, the sauce just right, not too sour, and the consistency was great.
We didn't have to wait too long for the food either, about 20 minutes.
My vegan burger was really not tasty. The bun was thawed and extremely dry. Unfortunately the truffle mayo wasn't good either. The fries, however, were quite tasty. The waiter was very friendly and humorous and the food came after a short time. Unfortunately the sauces had no label. So you could guess which sauce it was or whether it was vegan. Unfortunately, the food in particular didn't convince me at all :/
We've been getting pizza here occasionally for years. The pizza is still very tasty. Unfortunately, like everything else, prices have risen here too. If you order by phone, you should take a quick look when picking up whether you are getting the right thing. Last time something got mixed up and the vegetarian pizza had some of the meat topping from another pizza, which was then missing. So it's better to take a closer look in the box before taking the pizzas with you.
The service here has never been particularly fast. But this time...
There were five of us here. 4 adults one child. For 2 out of 5, the food came 40 minutes later than the rest. That shouldn't be the case. It's a shame since the kitchen is always very good.
My cellar beer was also 60% foam, also sad.
We came across the stagecoach by chance and were so impressed after our first visit that we went straight back the next day. The food is so incredibly delicious and the prices are more than fair. In addition, the selection of gluten-free dishes is exceptionally large. My wife celebrated it so much. In addition, the service is nice and courteous. The ambience isn't particularly special, but the atmosphere is relaxed and children can still be children here. Many thanks to the stagecoach team. We'll definitely be back!
