We absolutely love coming here. The service is always super friendly, no matter how busy it is. We also feel very welcome with our three boys, and the price-performance ratio is absolutely fine!

The nice thing here, apart from the friendly staff 😊, is that for almost every dish you can simply say that you want the gluten-free version. No extra charge, no “I have to ask first”, just like that. A dream for our son, who has celiac disease. But even so, I can only recommend the restaurant. Home-style cooking, delicious food and despite the full house, the food was on the table for everyone after 15-20 minutes.

Yesterday we went bowling in the stagecoach with 10 children. The train has a wonderful “60s flair” including a drinks elevator. We were amazed by this charm. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The fries are delicious! Highly recommended! Thanks.

We ate here in the spring. This is a large restaurant within a large spa facility, also open to "outsiders", with a good atmosphere and good food. We were there on Sunday, with a reservation, had a nice seat and were served quickly and friendly. is not open every day, so google it...

We can't support the good reviews here. Our schnitzel and fries were quite greasy and still weighed heavily on our stomachs for hours afterwards. The ambience wasn't great either, the beer glass was dirty, the tablecloth was messed up by the previous person and the toilet wasn't clean either. Only the staff was really very friendly and accommodating.

Very good cuisine and excellent service

We were guests here on 12 out of 14 days. Everything about taste, portion sizes and the selection of dishes has already been written here, and we can only agree with that. The pricing, where can you still get that, especially after Corona times? Here you can feel that the kitchen and service are "one team" that puts a lot of effort into the satisfaction of the guests. Keep it up. !!!

Large selection of dishes, as well as a daily changing “special” menu such as pizza day, crust day, etc. The food is really great, the portions are large and the price is low. The staff is very attentive and warm. We ate here two days in a row because we liked and enjoyed it so much. We'll definitely be back 👍🏻

When we entered the restaurant we were asked about our reservation, after we said no we were asked to leave.

We were guests in the restaurant again in June. The staff is very friendly and accommodating . The food tasted excellent and my dish was even served gluten-free. We always enjoy coming here to eat.

I had dinner here in the evening. Unfortunately the terrace was not open and you could only sit inside. Very bare, no atmosphere. I went for the fried chicken with spinach. It tasted great, it also came with potato croquettes, which I didn't like. Very hard on the outside, not slightly crispy. Also a bit 'heavy', too much oil or something? I also saw a 'schnitzel' being served elsewhere, in such a standard shape. It looks a bit simple, I wouldn't easily choose fries in this restaurant. Potato croquettes at my house taste better. Service was fine, no complaints about that. And the restaurant is also reasonably priced.

We had dinner with you yesterday and were completely satisfied! First of all, I would like to mention the very friendly and courteous staff. The food was very good craftsmanship! The onion roast and the rump steak were cooked to perfection and the meat was of excellent taste and high quality. The fried potatoes had a nice crust and the sauce was homemade. The salad from the salad buffet was fresh and delicious. The vegetables were fresh and very well prepared in a Mediterranean style. The kitchen here knows its craft impressively! We chose this restaurant while on vacation because of the many good reviews. Unfortunately, the food (Wiener Schnitzel and Käsespätzle) wasn't good, so the plate remained half full despite good intentions. Normally we aren't picky, but the spaetzle was very greasy and bland, the fries were soggy and soft and the schnitzel was too thick and only tasted like fat. Drink and salad were very good. The waitresses were super friendly! Parking was difficult in the evenings due to the surrounding holiday apartments and construction vehicles.

Everything is really right here. The quality of the food, the price and above all the nice, friendly, attentive service. A bit hidden, close to the Alpenfreibad but the journey is worth it. Above all, it is relaxing to come there with children. You can play outside in the nearby playgrounds and you will also feel very welcome. After we liked it so much, we had to come back the next day. We had Käpt'n Blaubär (children's schnitzel with fries), hamburgers, the Wirte plate (great thing), rump steak on grilled vegetables, the other mothers and children had the chicken nuggets, Kässpätzle, Kaiserschmarren and Nuremberg sausages. Everything was delicious across the board. There is also a theme every day. Such as Monday - pizza day - Saturday knuckle etc. for even less money. Unconditionally recommended!!!

Nice location, super nice staff. Price performance cannot be topped. Zur Postkutsche is a large restaurant with a beautiful large terrace. From almost all tables you have a beautiful view into the distance. When the weather is nice it's great to sit on the shady terrace, but since it was always busy when we were there, it's a good idea to make a reservation. Reservations can be made by telephone or email. We would be happy to come back.

We were there for dinner. The restaurant was completely full, but we still managed to get a table for two. The waiter had the place under control and we didn't have to wait long. Food (cheese spaetzle and Schwaben Töfple + Affogato) was very tasty and the portion was decent. We came with a motorhome and found a parking space for it too. If we are in the area again, we would come again.

The stagecoach is located in a holiday village and is appropriately embedded there. The ambience is ok, but nothing special. Despite the full restaurant, few waitresses and always people hoping for a "last minute" spot, the staff was always friendly and helpful. They were also familiar with the needs of celiac disease and were trained accordingly. The Stagecoach offers a wide range of gluten-free dishes. These are marked with small flags “gluten-free in Scheidegg” so that there is no mix-up and the service knows at a glance which is for whom.

We felt very welcome and comfortable. Children under 3 years receive pasta with sauce free of charge. When this was forgotten the day before, we were given a scoop of ice cream as an apology. Where else can you find something like this? The food was very tasty and inexpensive.

Impersonal, loud canteen or dining room atmosphere. The furnishings are reminiscent of youth hostels from the 1970s. The Bayernschnitzel was dry, possibly made from molded meat. The mushrooms were hidden under the two slices of cheese, the edges of which hung half melted over the edge of the schnitzel. The sauce level under the schnitzel wasn't enough to coat the floury, soft fried potatoes. The side salad consisted mostly of ready-made salads, which we also found as the basis of the fitness salad.

For us as a family with 2 children (3 and 6) it was a very good opportunity to have a relaxed meal, as the Postkutsche is a very child-friendly restaurant. The dishes were all super tasty and ready very quickly. The children could go to the nearby playground via the summer terrace. The atmosphere is rather simple and simple, but for us as a family that's not a big criterion.

We went there every other day on our vacation last year. Two family members need a gluten-free diet and so we were more than happy to be in such good hands there. Gluten-free schnitzel, Kaiserschmarrn, even spaetzle - everything fresh, everything delicious. In addition, the service was great, the people were very friendly and always in a good mood. If we ever find ourselves in the area again, we'll definitely stop by the stagecoach again.
