Die besten Restaurants in Scheidegg

A great discovery in the small town of Scheffau... delicious cakes in a lovely little garden, ice cream for the kids, and everything homemade. The dinner menu also sounded super tempting, especially the vegetarian selection, which was very special and creative. 10 out of 10 :)

On our way back from vacation we looked for a restaurant outside Scheidegg. Luckily we decided on the Katzenmühle without having any idea what to expect. The first impression from the outside was a bit strange, but the positive surprise at the reception was even greater. An absolutely successful concept (assistance with service, special billing method), an idyllic atmosphere, loving and friendly innkeepers. Absolutely recommended for anyone who wants something extraordinary.

The food was very tasty but there was a lack of ambience. It has something of an impersonal dining room about it.

Beautiful terrace with a wonderful view

Super nice little restaurant with delicious Italian bites! With your drink there is a “greetings from the kitchen”! The Hugo was lemony and tangy, the Bruscetta tickled the taste buds with fine olive oil and balsamic vinegar, rich tomatoes and a spicy arugula and basil decoration! The affogato as a small dessert - just mmmmmhhhh!!! :-) And both the owner and the service staff take loving care of the guests!

The staff was very friendly, the atmosphere in the garden was very nice (the fountain could be cleaned), the toilet is clean, unfortunately the waiting time from the time the food was picked up to the time it was delivered was over 1 hour, which is not acceptable with small children. Unfortunately, the pizzas weren't very tasty either, seasoned way too hot (too much garlic).

I have rarely eaten such a delicious rump steak with fries and salad. A. big compliments to the kitchen. Likewise the service, very courteous and friendly. Finally, the price, a rump steak with fries and salad for €22.50 is simply brilliant

The food was delicious, the service friendly, and the restaurant itself very cozy. We would love to come back. I recommend everyone try the apple strudel – it's truly delicious!

The taste of the food is not our cup of tea. Prosecco and rose stale. Unfortunately, the prices were also billed incorrectly. Pizza with salad and eggplant casserole as a daily recommendation. Unfortunately the price on the invoice was different. Didn't want to say anything because it was only €1.50.

Die Lage des Hotels und das Ambiente im Restaurant sind sehr schön. Der Service beim Abendessen nahezu perfekt. Leider war das Menu nur durchschnittlich und hielt dem sonstigen Niveau des Hauses bei weitem nicht stand.

Had dinner here with my family today. The pizza comes fresh from the wood-fired oven and the wait is not long. Pizza and bruschetta were the best I've eaten in a long time, really recommended. The service was very friendly and we felt comfortable on the beautiful terrace. If we didn't live so far away we would definitely come more often!!!

A really good Greek in terms of price-performance ratio, but the service can be quite bumpy at times.
