We were condescendingly dismissed at the entrance by the so-called owner, who we couldn't recognize, and sent on our way. Mega unprofessional and absolutely unfriendly. Never ever!

October 28th, 2023 I had an excellent meal here and had friendly service. The Schäufele cannot be beaten. Clear recommendation. Stopped here again on October 21st, 2024. For once it's not a Schäufele but a giant currywurst that deserves its name.

I had potato Detsch with salmon and sour cream dip. I didn't take a photo because the Detsch were too crispy. They were pre-baked and warmed up again. Only tasted crispy, you didn't taste any of the potatoes, can't recommend it. Salmon with dip was ok .

Meal ready after 50 minutes with wrong side dish, so 60 minutes. Then the meal comes with starter salad, what does that mean starter??? When I was eating after 60 minutes, the staff and customers were obviously gossiping about us. Left the restaurant. Worst service I have ever experienced. Operator denies everything despite enough witnesses!

Very good experience! We arrived late, around 9 p.m., after a long trip, and it was the only restaurant with an open kitchen in the city center. They were welcoming and kind. As a bonus, the food was very good. Highly recommended.

Anyone who hasn't gotten food here has missed out. The dough for many dishes is homemade (including kebab) and you can really tell! You can also get the best Italian salad in the entire Coburg area here. I rarely go without ordering this. No matter what else I ordered. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful and respond to special requests. The price for this is also more than fair. The only thing you could do is improve the ambience 🙏 but I think most people (like me) just pick up or order anyway.

Have ordered there several times and are always very satisfied. We usually order pizza and pasta there and the quality is always consistently good. The staff on the phone and the driver are also very friendly...we would be happy to order again.

In addition to the long waiting time (which, to be fair, was pointed out when you entered), you should also be insensitive to cold and smoke - as inconsiderate guests often suddenly leave the door open and smoke right in front of it. The service either doesn't notice this or doesn't care, so you can at least pass the waiting time by getting up regularly and closing the door. The food was okay, although not outstanding for my taste. As of today, I unfortunately cannot make a recommendation.
