Wir wurden sehr schnell und sehr freundlich von Kristina bedient. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Essen war sehr lecker und auch große Portionen.

Das Essen war sehr gut und der Service von Kristina ist besonders hervorzuheben.

Sehr nette Bedienung (Kristina und Sophie). Besonders empfehlenswert waren die doppelt frittierte Pommes und sehr schmackhafte Kalbsschnitzel.

Die Loreley hat sich für uns inzwischen zu unserem Coburger Lieblingsrestaurant entwickelt – nicht zuletzt wegen des herzlichen Inhabers und der wirklich guten Küche. Das urige, gemütliche Ambiente sorgt jedes Mal dafür, dass man sich direkt wohlfühlt. Auch das Personal ist stets freundlich und aufmerksam, besondere Grüße gehen dabei an Kristina und Melissa, die unsere letzten Besuche immer besonders angenehm gemacht haben. Preis-Leistung ist insgesamt absolut fair, Kartenzahlung ist selbstverständlich möglich. Wenn wir mit Familie oder Freunden überlegen, wo wir essen gehen, ist die Loreley inzwischen fast immer unsere erste Wahl. Besonders positiv: Selbst ohne Reservierung haben wir bisher jedes Mal noch einen Platz bekommen. Insgesamt einfach immer wieder ein schöner und entspannter Restaurantbesuch.

Wir gehen immer wieder gerne in die Loreley. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich, das Essen ist durch die Bank super lecker und der Inhaber sowie die Servicekräfte sind freundlich und zuvorkommend (an dieser Stelle besondere Grüße an Kristina und Melissa). Einfach jedes Mal ein schönes Erlebnis.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt! Das Essen war wirklich hervorragend – geschmacklich auf den Punkt und frisch zubereitet. Ein ganz besonderes Lob geht an unsere Bedienung Christina: Sie hat uns nicht nur überaus aufmerksam und zuvorkommend bedient, sondern mit ihrer freundlichen Art auch dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns rundum wohl gefühlt haben. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall sehr gerne wieder!

So wie jedes Jahr ist die Loreley immer ein inneres Blümenpflücken für die Seele. Der Unterschied, welchen man allerdings ansprechen muss, ist die Tatsache der erfreulichen Gastfreundschaft der folgenden Damen. Melissa überzeugt durch ihre herausragende Freundlichkeit gegenüber Kunden, welche auch manchmal über die Stränge schlagen können. Kristina bezaubert die Herrschaften durch ihre Präsenz und ihre allgemeine Glücksseligkeit. Sophie ist die Instanz, welcher eine eingesessene Kneipe in mancher orts oft zu suchen vermag. Diese drei charmanten Damen machen einen Abend in der Loreley erst richtig zum Spaß und wir freuen uns alle auf den nächsten Besuch!

A beautifully maintained restaurant serving German cuisine right in the heart of Coburg's city center. The staff is very friendly, the menu is excellent, and the prices are reasonable. Here, you're still served by the owner himself; his satisfaction is clearly a top priority, and he checked on us several times to make sure everything was alright. The service is absolutely top-notch – we'll definitely be back!

Delicious food, friendly service, and a charming owner. We asked him to take a group photo of us, and he happily took the time. We were there on a Friday evening, and the restaurant filled up quickly. The only slight drawback was the ambiance, as the door to the anteroom was often left open, creating a draft.

Traditional restaurant with excellent German cuisine. They even offer steak at lunchtime. The draft beer is crisp and full-bodied.

This weekend we went to the Loreley restaurant in Coburg. Initially, we wanted to sit outside, but then went inside because of the wasps. My partner had roulade with dumplings, and I had grilled salmon with salad. Both were truly delicious. A small negative: With the exception of spaetzle, the menu only offers meat or fish dishes. This isn't really up to date for guests with special dietary requirements. However, because the food was so good, I'd like to give it full marks.

We spontaneously decided to go out for dinner in the Loreley restaurant in the evening. The restaurant was full, so we got a table in a side room. There is something on the menu for all tastes. The staff was very friendly and very attentive. Dining, whether before or after main. or dessert was very good. We are happy to give 5 stars here! We would love to come back!

After a long morning hike from Coburg, we were really hungry. We thought the idea was good and the Loreley restaurant looked very inviting from the outside. Inside we were taken directly to a free space. There were only two tables left. It's definitely very lively here. The menu was short, but with great dishes. The decision was still quite easy for me. It was supposed to be the roast venison. What can I say? It was great! I could have sat in the sauce, the roast was tender like butter and dumplings, red cabbage and the side salad were also great. I can only report positive things here and highly recommend the restaurant. Price/performance top!

The worst meal I've ever had in a restaurant. Sauerbraten, 2 thin slices of meat, both tough and one flaxy. Obviously from 2 different pieces of roast. The meat had definitely not been pickled beforehand. The dumplings were totally watered down and the sauce was indefinable. And all at an unearthly price. Never again!!!

Cozy, rustic restaurant. We were served nicely and politely and felt welcome from the start. We ordered beef in horseradish sauce. Everything was just right, dumplings, sauce, meat. A pleasure! Just as it should be. The price-performance ratio was also suitable. We would love to come back!

Luckily we had reserved and so we were able to sit down for dinner in the cozy garden in front of the restaurant. A very nice waiter treated us to two delicious dishes. The roast beef was spot on, delicious sauce, perfect dumplings, topped with the Kree meat, tender, tasty, with one of the best horseradish sauces we've ever had the pleasure of enjoying. It was an experience of taste and hospitality and the price is also very fair for this quality. We'll be back!

Wir hatten zum Glück reserviert und so konnten wir in dem gemütlichen Gastgarten, vor dem Lokal bequem zum Abendessen platz nehmen. Ein sehr netter Kellner bewirtet uns mit 2 super leckeren Gerichten. Der Rinderbraten war auf den Punkt getroffen, leckere Soße, perfekte Klöße, noch getoppt von dem Kreefleisch, zart, schmackhaft, mit einer der besten Meerrettichsoßen, die wir je genießen durften. Das war ein Erlebnis an Geschmack und Gastfreundlichkeit und auch der Preis ist sehr fair für diese Qualität. Wir kommen wieder!

Es war für uns alle ein kurzweiliger, gelungener und schöner Abend. Wir haben uns alle sehr wohl gefühlt und dafür vielen Dank.

The restaurant is beautifully located and its special façade invites you to stop by. We sat inside and also outside. The food was always a delight. You eat really well in the “Loreley”… However, we waited an eternity for it. Parking is not easy.

We were regular guests before and very satisfied, now after 5 years of visiting we are still very satisfied. The Coburger dumplings are highly recommended, as are the service and the ambience.
