A very nice ambiance and absolutely fantastic food. The service is charming and always friendly, and it's important to them that guests feel comfortable. The dishes are not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The price/performance ratio is perfect for me! Overall, simply excellent!

We come here several times a year and are always very satisfied with the food. The daily specials, in particular, are varied, creative, and truly delicious—the quality is evident here. The service is also friendly, and the system with the lamp on the table, which you can activate, works well. Just keep in mind that you have to ask for a table service; otherwise, you might not be asked about your preferences as often. It would also be nice to have a server serving you throughout, as the menu changes frequently these days. There is a slight deduction for the drinks menu in the non-alcoholic section. It lacks a few modern options, such as homemade lemonades, iced teas, or even Coke Zero. Overall, however, this is a highly recommended restaurant that we are happy to return to again and again. It would also be nice if online reservations were finally possible.

We were very disappointed with our visit to Mediterran. The wait times were extremely long – both for ordering drinks and placing our food order (over an hour), as well as for the food delivery itself (almost two hours). The prices are completely exorbitant for the service provided – a simple vegetarian pizza cost €17.10. The service was unfortunately inattentive and unfriendly. Definitely not an experience we would want to repeat.

The food is highly recommended. Upscale cuisine at reasonable prices and generous portions. Most of the wait staff and the chef are very friendly and customer-oriented. The ambiance isn't "classically Italian." The interior is divided into a sort of hall and an area very reminiscent of an Irish restaurant. But I don't see that as a negative! The outdoor area is nicely laid out, and when the weather's nice, the entire bar is also open outside. There's also an area with a playground for children. Unfortunately, you usually don't have a chance without a reservation!

I love eating there. The food ALWAYS tastes great, and the service is always there, even during busy times. Even if you grab something quickly, like on a Sunday evening, everything is packaged with love. Even the dessert! The chocolate mousse is worth sinning for... So I can only recommend the restaurant, whether with or without children, whether in the beer garden in summer or in the cozy interior. I simply love it.

Unfortunately, an extra plate wasn't provided. Our drink order was incorrect, and we had to wait 30-40 minutes for the bill. It wasn't just us who had this problem – we noticed it at other tables as well. The waitress who finally took the money seemed annoyed and rude. Conclusion: Top-notch food, beautiful location – but the service was a real mood killer in our case.

I was pleasantly surprised. The menu isn't large. It has all the essentials from a variety of dishes, and the prices are reasonable. Not like in my home country with 1,000 different pizza sizes. Just one large one for one price. It looks good and tastes good, too.

The pasta dishes are truly delicious and highly recommended. Unfortunately, the pizza is often lacking in seasoning – and even when it is more strongly seasoned, it's usually too salty. The service is generally decent, although some employees seem rather unmotivated. Overall, a solid experience, but unfortunately no longer the special highlight it once might have been.

I'm really sorry about the review, and I've been thinking about posting it for three weeks now. I generally prefer to express my enthusiasm and hold back on criticism, as a lot of things are simply a matter of taste. But after we were able to experience a really good Italian restaurant in the neighboring town yesterday, with better value for money! My worldview has changed again. I had relied on the top reviews to invite people here without even tasting the food. The restaurant was also packed. Either we caught the worst day of the month, or I can't think of any other explanation for the top reviews. The guests close to me honestly admitted my impression. They didn't particularly enjoy the food either. The others returned half their plates without being given a box—that's a sign, right? This was no different with the pizzas than with the appetizers and dessert. We found most of the food to be too bland and monotonous in taste. A very positive aspect is the ample parking on site, the nice location, the fact that furry friends are also welcome, and the beer garden, shaded by mighty trees, which will probably be very pleasant in the summer. But honestly, that's not why we'll be coming back.

Went to the Mediteran for the second time to eat, this time in the beer garden. The three of us sat in the sun under a parasol. Ambiance was very nice. Service was up to snuff the cashier who served in black sweatpants with a ribbon hanging down over her knees, who made a face like it was three days of rainy weather... very nice and friendly! When I was cashing out, the "extremely friendly cashier" stepped on my foot. There was an oops, nothing else!!!!!!!! No apology, no have a nice evening, no thank you after paying....just nothing!!! She turned around without saying a word and left!!!! In any case, she has missed her job and fits into this nice, open-minded team without any problem!!!! We think that such a person has no place in an upscale restaurant like this!! The food was very good, nicely prepared and sufficient!

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the staff friendly and attentive. The menu is a feast for all the senses. A large selection of Mediterranean dishes, from classic pasta creations to sophisticated fish and meat specialties. I had the lunguini with truffle and was overwhelmed. The quality of the ingredients, the loving preparation and the taste were simply outstanding. Every bite was a delight! My companion was also enthusiastic about her food. We agreed that this is a place where you would like to linger and indulge in culinary delights. I would particularly like to emphasize the excellent service. The staff was always attentive, friendly and accommodating. They really looked after us and made sure that we felt completely comfortable. For me, the Mediterran restaurant is an absolute insider tip in Coburg. Everything is just right here: the food, the service and the ambience. I can only recommend a visit to anyone who loves Mediterranean cuisine and wants to spend an unforgettable evening. Wonderful beer garden with a lake next door, playground for the children and dogs allowed. The best thing is that the food was great, even great (e.g. chanterelle pizza, but seasonal). The staff... a dream, very friendly, accommodating, attentive... I have no idea how that worked with the stress and the full beer garden ;) We were even there a second time and it was absolutely wonderful again. So: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, keep it up! PS: Tips only in cash, so if you pay by card, don't forget a few thalers or notes! To the operator: Normally this can also be debited from the card, please try it, otherwise people like me without cash and the service will end up at a disadvantage ;)

We had reserved a table this evening, but we didn't even come to eat because we were greeted not only unfriendly but actually almost anti-socially. I have never experienced such subterranean service. We then spontaneously decided on another, friendly restaurant.

I was there for dinner with my girlfriend yesterday. We didn't get the table we ordered inside, we were told in an unfriendly, snippy tone: "first only outside", then we should sit at a mini table, directly between the entrance to the terrace and the restaurant (too small, uncomfortable and in the middle Through traffic), the expression on my face obviously showed the waitress that I didn't agree with this. Mercifully, we were then allowed to choose a table. It got pretty cold in the beer garden after 7:30 p.m.; We would certainly have stayed longer, but we were NOT allowed to sit inside. The food is really delicious but the female service staff - it's not good! A group of four left the restaurant with the statement: “so unfriendly”. We will continue to orient ourselves differently in the future. Too bad.

Ordered pizza to pick up by phone on Friday evening. Pickup time was scheduled for 6:15 p.m. I was there on time, but unfortunately I didn't have the pizza until 6:46 p.m.!! receive. Other customers who came after me to pick up their pizza were sent home before me with pizza to pick up. When I asked politely after waiting for 20 minutes, I only got the answer from the friendly waitress: "So what?, it'll take a while". No apology or anything. My advice: If you want to order for pickup, I recommend ordering somewhere else. The kitchen doesn't seem to be able to cope with the number of guests. The reaction of the waitress shows that it doesn't seem to matter to the individual customer, since the store was buzzing and fully booked. Didn't leave a good impression. Luckily, there are tons of other pizzerias in the city. Pizza was good, but it certainly didn't justify the 30 minute wait.
