Very polite and friendly staff. There was nothing to complain about about the food, everything was great, except for me there was too much salt in the main courses, but that's a matter of taste. I'm already looking forward to tonight.

We love going there for breakfast! The buffet is always well stocked and is always refilled when necessary!! The service is always friendly and ensures that used dishes are removed from the tables! Even children are welcome here! The only drawback is the parking situation! Disabled parking spaces are occupied by unauthorized and inconsiderate guests! 😠 We will still be happy to come back! The stay at the Hotel Späth was, as always, simply great. We are already looking forward to the next visit.

Room very clean, everything within walking distance, I traveled by train. One point less because it is very noisy - you can hear everything from the stairwell and when someone is showering in the next room and also sitting on the toilet. Completely okay for a weekend trip as the price/performance is right.

Always delicious, always fresh. Lots of vegetarian options, the best being the Turkish salad and grilled vegetables

On my honor, that was the worst bratwurst roll AND the worst liver cheese roll of my life. The bratwurst is only the same size as a Franconian sausage, tastes extremely strange and is dripping with fat. The Leberkäs tasted like everything but Leberkäs - even Norma's ready-made one is better. The rolls were from the freezer. Once and not again, thank you very much!

The atmosphere is more of a mixture of bar, disco and restaurant. The pizza we ordered came quickly and was very tasty. Gladly again :)

Here you can still find really hearty, incredibly delicious Franconian home cooking! Definitely try it! I can highly recommend the horseradish meat and the sauerbraten (!)! The prices are also very fair!

We had a reservation for two people in the restaurant during Christmas time. We found the restaurant to be a bit cool and very brightly lit. We were missing some Christmas music and the right atmosphere at Christmas time. Whereas loud music (not Christmas music) could be heard from the kitchen. From the wine list we wanted to order a Secco Rosé and a wine with the meal. Both from regional winemakers but both and alternatives requested were not in stock. So there was beer. We each ordered a soup and a main course. What can I say, the soup, a chestnut soup, was much too sour, lemon sour. This was returned and was not charged later. The main course, a goose breast with red cabbage and potato dumplings, wasn't much better. The meat was far too dry, the red cabbage and sauce were watery and the cabbage was overcooked. I would classify the dumplings as ready-made dumplings. We refrained from having dessert. All in all, not a very good evening, as the carelessly prepared dishes are certainly in the upper price segment. If this is the standard offered at “Zum Hirschen”, then in our opinion the restaurant is not worth recommending.
