You can't miss the Salza restaurant, it's easy to see right at the entrance. It is clean and well maintained. What really bothered me was that you had to wait in line in front of the restaurant until you were allowed in. In some cases there were still free seats and you could have asked the respective guests if you could sit down. The condition then abruptly said that the kitchen was currently slowly being overloaded. The bathroom operators should really retrofit this. There should already be capacity for the guests. And it wasn't rush hour. It was like that all day. The service wasn't exactly friendly, but she also had a lot of work. The food was mediocre. Why do those who book an hour get half an hour of time in the restaurant for free and those who have a day ticket get nothing?

Great food Price performance excellent. Friendly staff. And what was great was you could sit in a certain area in your bathrobe.

Some of the nonsense you read here is absurd and does not correspond to the truth. We, my wife and I, went there for dinner for the second time today because we visited the thermal baths. And honestly? We are enthusiastic and that means something, we ourselves are restaurateurs at a Franconian restaurant in Nuremberg and we criticize some other restaurants not here but in our living room, but privately But the owners shouldn't worry here because we didn't just want to give five stars, no, it would even be one more. Everything is just right in this restaurant, even though thousands of spa guests and tourists dine there. The service is a dream, normally with such a number of guests a long waiting time is to be expected, no, we got great service. Keep it up people, RESPECT. The stupid complainers and hobby chefs, hey, stay at home, no one wants guests like that, you don't deserve any service or delicious food. Please avoid such places and go to snack bars that sell currywurst or kebab. Thanks again to the whole team, we'll see each other again in the new year at the latest.

The quality of the food and the price-performance ratio are great here. The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, all of which are delicious. The prices are very fair and I would definitely come back.

A restaurant at and in the thermal baths in Bad Windsheim. As part of a thermal stay, we had dinner in Salza on three days. The waitresses were busy and tried to fulfill the guests' wishes quickly and in a friendly manner. On the first evening I had “salmon with salad”, on the second day I had an excellent “Franconian Sauerbraten” and on the third evening I had a TexMex burger. All three dishes were excellent, although I liked the sauerbraten the best. The sauce was absolutely delicious and “toilet with sauce” would have been enough for me. We also had the Franconian bratwurst and the cordon bleu. To drink I had tasty, regional dark beer. The prices are not exactly for those on a budget, but are quite reasonable given the quality. It is strongly recommended to reserve a table for the evening. Especially on Wednesdays and Fridays when there is a barbecue evening. The outside area is somewhat protected from the blazing sun with parasols and trees. We would go here again.

Service was great. Unfortunately, the food was subpar, especially for the price. Spaghetti completely overcooked and tomato sauce without any spices. There was also a "burger" with fig jam (declared as fig mustard but the ingredients are clear) that only tasted like it and was still too dry (which is a work of art). After complaints, the boss showed us the fig jam and emphasized again that it was fig mustard (ingredients: figs, sugar, dextrose, gelling agent) and assumed that we didn't know what fig mustard was. Absolute disaster.

Unfortunately, the fries at the Cordon Blue weren't crispy. Didn't convince me. Was only there once in 3 weeks. But you can sit outside and have a drink.

The vegetables were slightly mushy and floating in liquid. The chicken is completely dry. Not recommendable . My husband had a dreamy spicy Mexican chilli con carne. I left the unsuccessful light Lotte and also ordered mecicaner. The mud was still...offset. The young gentleman in the service was great 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻KoMi

A phenomenal restaurant!!! Both as a guest in the thermal baths and at dinner. Really delicious food (burgers are awesome!!!), inexpensive and of a quality that is impressive. Super fresh salads and products. The fruit ice cream sundae was the best I've ever eaten (and I've eaten a lot of them!!). And the brilliant and super friendly service, just awesome!!! I could write so much more positive stuff, so go and enjoy yourself!!! When it comes time to visit the thermal spa, we won't eat anywhere else!!

When we are in Bad Windsheim, a meal at Salza is a must for us. The service is super friendly, the food is delicious. I find the menu very colorful and varied, everyone should find something there. The season ticket is also great, someone is really thinking about it. Kudos to the entire team, keep it up. And maybe you can open a second branch in my city. 😉❤️

Had hair in 2 out of 4 meals... actually there's no need to say more but the goulash was also very bad and the currywurst wasn't particularly tasty either. All in all everything was bad except the conditions were very friendly

The restaurant is located directly in/at the Frankentherme and can be visited both from outside and from the bathing area of ​​the thermal baths. The menus are the same in both areas. The food is super delicious. We had different dishes, everything was very tasty. Recommendation: the Schäufala, but also the sauerbraten, or just anything else😉 Large portions and worth every cent. The staff extremely friendly and accommodating. We always enjoy coming here. We recommend. thumbs up

Food is really OK for a thermal spa. We recommend Franconian sour roast or the popular Schäufele. The food is a bit "hard on salt"... but tastes are different. The service is quick and friendly. Be sure to order a “Freilandmuseum Dunkel” at Schäufele!

The atmosphere is somewhat reminiscent of a hospital. But the food is delicious and you can relax after 5 p.m

Got my hands on a hot plate! Service was quick but a bit cheeky. Food is always good there. There is also nice cake.

You can eat here both in the swimming pool and in the real restaurant, which you can reach via the thermal baths. The service was quite nice, the drinks were okay. The homemade peach iced tea looked very nice, but I think it could have had a little more flavor. Price wise it was okay too. Unfortunately we couldn't find anything in the menu this time, and a page was missing from one menu. I hope my review was helpful.

The food was very good, even if it was very expensive. The ambience was a disaster, we sat in the bathing area. I can understand that it's not easy to make it more comfortable, but other bathrooms do it pretty well too. We felt like we were at the train station. Loud, drafty, something rattling on the ceiling, ventilation or something similar. It was simply too expensive for us.

The Salza is shared. There is an entrance from the bathroom and a separate entrance from outside. The ambience for the separate restaurant is not comfortable. The bathroom restaurant is as you would expect from a bathroom. The food is very different. There are products that look like fast food and products that are very delicious and freshly made.

The Salza is located in the Franken Therme. It is divided into two areas, one is directly accessible from the thermal baths, the other is intended for guests outside the thermal baths. The dishes are very tasty and beautifully presented. Service staff were very friendly and attentive throughout. Roast roast, rump steak and Franconian Schäufale are highly recommended. Spa guests can pay in Salza with their Franken Therme chip bracelet. Cash and card payment is possible

Absolutely top, a real asset to the thermal baths. We were never disappointed, the staff is great, the food anyway. The burgers are really good, but also the regional ones. The cakes and desserts can also be highly recommended. Everything was great all around. No comparison to other restaurants at a leisure pool. It's also great that there are separate areas for both thermal bath visitors and external, separate areas.

Super great food, I can warmly recommend the Schäufele in particular. If someone prefers to eat the food instead of the animals, they will find something here too 😉

Super delicious food and really nice staff. What I definitely found positive was if you go to eat there from the thermal baths and you have an hour ticket (i.e. not a day ticket for the thermal baths), you get an additional 30 minutes of thermal bath time booked on your wristband, which you can then use.

Restaurant brutal voll, Service versuchte trotzdem freundlich zu sein. Essen schmeckte gut ABER ACHTUNG: Schaut euch die Preise an!!! Für einen bunten Salat mit einem Feta Taler = 19,30€!!!! Ich dachte ich sehe bricht richtig. Der Salat war lecker, keine Frage, aber halt wirklich nur wie oben beschrieben: bunter Salat 🤷🏻‍♀️ Das war Lehrgeld für mich, selber schuld wenn man nicht nach den Preisen schaut. Aber das ich fast 20€ für einen Salat in einem Schwimmbad zahle, wo um mich rum lauter Menschen in Badehose hocken....finde ich unverschämt😑

Wir haben mehrfach das Salza besucht, sowohl im Besucherbereich als auch im Badebereich. Was soll ich sagen - wir waren rundum zufrieden. Die angebotenen Speisen und Getränke haben eine ordentliche Qualität. Vor allem aber ist eines hervorzuheben, der Service ist sehr freundlich und schnell.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich. Wir haben auch nicht lange warten müssen.

Karte, Ambiete und Service sind voll okay. Cordon Bleu war gut, aber das Schäuferla war kalt und der maßen zäh, dass man einen Fuchsschwanz dazu bringen sollte.

Das Restaurant ist in zwei Bereiche aufgeteilt, einen für Badegäste und einen mit Zugang von außen. Wir waren als Badegäste hier und hatten ein einfaches Selbstbedienungs-Restaurant erwartet, wir man es aus Thermen/Bädern kennt. Es ist aber ein Restaurant mit Bedienung. Wir waren begeistert vom Essen, mein Schäufele war absolut hervorragend und zu einem Preis von 16,50€ auch gar nicht teuer.

Muss nun auch einfach mal Danke sagen für ..... das leckere Essen, Schäufala, Wildgulasch, Burger, Wurtsalat, Cordon Blau, Rehkäule, und die Kuchen alles 1a super lecker Dank an die Köche. Ebenso Danke an die Bedienungen immer hilfsbereit, zuvorkommend, freundlich, flott. So sieht Handwerk, Service und Dienstleistung aus. 5 Sterne

Wir gehen sehr gerne dort essen. Das Personal ist immer sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die veganen Gerichte sind sehr lecker! Frisch und geschmackvoll zubereitet.

Wir hatten einen Tisch für 5 Personen reserviert. Das Lokal war ziemlich voll, unsere Bedienung freundlich. Die Getränke waren schnell da, das Essen dauerte etwas,aber nicht zu lange. Das Essen war gut, besonders die Pommes. Das Burgerpatty hätte etwas größer sein können. Schnitzel hätte ein wenig dünner sein können, Hähnchen und Cordon Bleu waren fantastisch. Auch sehr zu empfehlen ist die Kuchen Auswahl. Mit und ohne Therme ein guter Ort zum Essen.

Tolle Lokalität. Bad war ausgebucht ging ich halt rüber. Persönlicher Empfang der Chefin auch alles ausgebucht aber sie fragt ob ich mich wo dazusetzen darf. Meinem Wunsch das schäufele zu bekommen war auch kein Problem wurde kurzerhand organisiert. Das nennt man SERVICE weiter so

Waren heute in der Therme und in den Thermen eigenen Restaurant. So toll! Die Bedienung war sehr sehr auf Zack und wirklich charmant. Ein augenschmauß ihm zu zu schauen! Man merkt das Temperament und die Erfahrung! Aber auch das Essen, die Leichte Lotte und heisse Henne wirklich lecker!!! Wir kommen wieder! Danke, für die tolle Bewirtung!

Burger hat geschmeckt wie ein selbstgemachter, war wirklich lecker. Bedienung war auch freundlich und sympathisch.

Erst einmal Lob an das Servicepersonal, schneller freundlicher Service auch bei gut gefülltem Restaurant. Der Chef kann froh sein so gute Kellner zu haben. Zur Küche kann ich auch nur gutes sagen. Wir haben schon sehr oft hier gegessen. Schäufele immer frisch! Gute Speisen Auswahl. Saisongerecht. Und einfach nur lecker. Die Buddha Bowl habe ich sonst immer sehr gerne gegessen, wurde aber gerade neu zusammen gestellt. Da würde ich mir eher wieder die alte Variation wünschen, aber das ist wirklich Geschmacksache und auf keinem Fall Kritik!

Das Restaurant liegt direkt in der Therme. Mitarbeiter sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Essen sehr gut. Es gibt neben der Speisekarte auch Tageempfehlungen.

Wir kommen immer wieder gerne hierher. Nicht nur, weil es an die Therme angeschlossen ist 😉. Wechselnde Saisonkarte, leckere Burger, viel Vegetarisch, frische Zutaten und nicht zu vergessen,das Museumsbier 😍. Der Service immer höflich, schnell und zuvorkommend.

Ich hatte die Begegnung einer besonderen Art. Mein Mann und ich waren zu einem Getränk im Salza und ich saß mit dem Blick auf die Theke- da stand mein Getränk . (Lemon-Spritz ) Dann kam die Bedingung nahm einen Schluck aus dem Glas ( zum Glück mit Strohhalm) danach verschwand das Glas für einen kurzen Augenblick hinter dem Tresen und nur wenige Augenblicke später wurde es mir serviert. Den Kellner den ich daraufhin angesprochen habe wusste sofort wovon ich spreche und sagte das sie den Trink neu gemacht hätten........hahahaha in so kurzer Zeit NIEMALS !!!!!!

Hier hat es uns ausgesprochen gut gefallen. Die Speisekarte ist kreativ und abwechslungsreich und der Service aufmerksam und freundlich. Der Außenbereich bietet einen schönen Blick ins Grüne. Sowohl das Gemüse Curry als auch der Wurstsalat waren sehr lecker 😋. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt. Für uns war es der perfekte Ort für eine kleine Mittagspause 👌.
