Salza in Bad Windsheim

Waren hier zu essen über die Franken Therme und es war super, gerne wieder. Vorzuheben ist das dies ein richtiges Restaurant ist und keine einfache Pommesbude, und man hier auch normal essen gehen kann, weswegen die Qualität absolut stimmt. Bedienung war freundlich. Essen kam zügig. Der Klassik Burger war vorzüglich. Gerne bei wünschen die nicht auf der Karte stehen einfach nachfragen. Habe so Süßkartoffelpommes bekommen. Diese waren schön knusprig.

War alles sehr lecker. Lustige, freundliche und schnelle Bedienung. Speisekarte für jeden Geschmack was dabei. Vom Schwimmbad Zugang zum essen oder nach dem Schwimmen extra Eingang mit Bereich zum draußen sitzen und drin. Alles sauber und ordentlich.

Für eine Thermen Gastronomie bekommt man hier wirklich eine Küche in sehr hoher Qualität geboten. Insbesondere die fränkische Schäufele sind Mega lecker. Wir besuchen Salza immer wieder sehr gerne.

Bestes Restaurant in einer Therme überhaupt. Frische moderne Küche, aber auch fränkische Schmankerl. Frisch zubereitet und kein Fastfood. Der Kabeljau auf Spargelragout mit Bärlauch Püree.... wunderbar. Leider war beim grünen Spargel vergessen worden das untere Drittel zu schälen, so dass drei Stücke so holzig waren, dass man sie nicht essen konnte. Sowas kann Mal passieren, deshalb kein Abzug. Preis/Leistung ist stimmig.

Direkt an die Therme angeschlossene Gaststätte. Essen sehr gut. Der vegane Burger und die Süßkartoffelpommes waren der Hammer.

Nach dem Besuch der Therme oder auch ohne Therme lohnt sich der Besuch. Es passt alles zusammen.

Leider war unser Eindruck von diesem Restaurant nicht so gut. Wir waren am 1. Mai als Therme-Gäste zum Mittag dort eingekehrt. Die Kellner waren gestresst und kein Lächeln auf den Lippen. Die Speisekarte hatten wir uns selbst organisiert, weil keiner uns eine gebracht hatte. Das Schäuferle war zäh und die Schwarte nicht essbar. Auch der Kloß konnte keineswegs überzeugen. Das Fleisch auf dem Burger war deutlich kleiner als das Brötchen und ähnelte eher einem Brikett als einem saftigen Patty. Die Pommes waren spitze. Außen knackig und innen weich. Wir mussten noch 15 Minuten warten bis wir nach der Rechnung verlangen konnten, da nicht einmal in unsere Richtung geguckt wurde, obwohl wir direkt neben dem Tresen saßen. Für die Qualität eindeutig zu teuer! Ich hoffe es war dem Andrang am Feiertag geschuldet…

Ein wunderbares Restaurant! Als Ausländerin habe ich mich hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Alles war perfekt. Ich habe das gebratene Karpfenfilet bestellt – es war außergewöhnlich lecker! Die Kellner sind sehr freundlich und humorvoll, und die Atmosphäre ist einfach herrlich zum Entspannen. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Wenn wir es in die therme schaffen, kehren wir auch immer wieder gern hier ein. Wir gehen in das reguläre Restaurant, weil es uns besser gefällt als der Teil in der im Badebereich. Wir essen immer was anderes und es war immer super lecker. Ob heiße Henne, Leber oder Schäufele. Der Service ist spitze. Freundlich, flott und immer ein netter Spruch dabei. Dieses Mal konnten wir das Rumpsteak und den Sauerbraten genießen. Alles wieder super lecker, Fleisch auf den Punkt und zart. Die Portionen sind auch groß genug, daß man satt wird. Mal schauen, was uns das nächste Mal anlacht.

Ich war im Thermenbereich des Restaurants und bin sehr begeistert. Trotz dass es recht klein wirkt und die Speisekarte nicht zu umfangreich ist, ist die Qualität der Speisen außerordentlich gut. Der Service war ausgesprochen freundlich und wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und waren während unseres Aufenthalts in der Therme gerne öfter zu Gast. Die Bezahlung erfolgte mit den Armbändern der Therme.

Das Restaurant ist direkt an der Therme. Es ist eindeutig das beste Schwimmbad Essen ever. Auch nur zum Essen gehen sehr empfehlenswert. Die Burger, auch die vegetarischen sind 1a

Dieser Ort ist fantastisch, das Essen köstlich und der Service sorgt dafür, dass man sich willkommen fühlt.

Nettes kleines Restaurant an der Therme. Superfreundlicher Kellner, der auch das Lächeln noch nicht verlernt hat. Veggie-Burger war lecker, auch wenn das Größenverhältnis von Bun (Brötchen groß) zu Veggie-Patty (kleiner vegetarischer Frikadelle) nicht gepasst hat. Da könnte noch dran gearbeitet werden. Wedges waren kross. Die hausgemachte Currywurst war nicht schlecht, mit Luft nach oben.

Waren seit langem mal wieder da Essen war gut

Unglaublich welche Top-Qualität in einem Thermenrestaurant angeboten wird. Das fängt beim top motivierten Personal an, welches das Willkommen-Gefühl so richtig rüber bringt. Auf das frisch zubereitete Essen haben nicht lange warten müssen und waren hell auf begeistert. Probiert die Ofen-Kartoffel mit Dip und Hähnchen-Schnitzel. Der beigefügte Salat auf dem Teller ist der Hammer. Hier stimmt alles !!!

Man muss ehrlich sagen von allen Thermen wo wir schon waren (waren einige 😀Sinsheim,7 Welten, bad Mergentheim uvm...) war dass hier das mit Abstand beste Essen ! Alle Bedienungen waren mega freundlich und zuvorkommend und schnell, das Essen war super lecker und der Sarti war auch super . Danke für das tolle Mittagessen ♡

Super Essen. Das erwartet man in einer Therme definitiv nicht.

Wir waren auf der Durchreise und wussten, das es hier ein hervorragendes Schäufele gibt. Vorher, vormittags, hatten wir telefonisch uns erkundigt, ob es noch Schäufele auf der Karte gibt. Es wurde bejaht und wir reservierten. Spätmittags hatten wir endlich jeder sein heiß ersehntes Schäufele, mit 2 Klößen und dunkler Soße vor sich, dazu Bad Windsheimer Museumsbier. Wir waren außerordentlich glücklich und happy. Unsere Leibspeise, endlich mal wieder. Das Fleisch war herrlich zart, saftig, fiel vom Knochen und die Kruste rösch. Sagenhaft! Klöße und Soße konnten wir beliebig nachholen, wovon wir auch je einmal Gebrauch machten. Wir sagen Danke an Euch und freuen uns schon auf's nächste Mal, wenn wir wieder auf der Durchreise, oder im angrenzenden Hotel sind. Riesendank. Wir sind extra zum Schäufele essen hingefahren. Es war wieder sehr gut und die Bedienungen super freundlich. Hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt!

Grausam mein Burger schmeckte schrecklich. Es gibt übrigens einen sehr guten Abdecker in Bad Windsheim er hat bestes Fleisch für Haustiere.

The food was delicious, and the price was right. It's quite busy in the evenings, so reservations are recommended. The very friendly and efficient service is particularly noteworthy.

Unfortunately, you have to give at least one star for the food. But what I experienced here is unbelievable. I ordered a plate of mushrooms on a wild herb salad. It tasted very good at first. Suddenly, I had a lump of dirt in my mouth, pure sand or mud. The proof was on the napkin. They probably hadn't washed the wild herbs properly. I didn't pay for this meal, but despite the lovely bathroom, I will never eat there again.

As someone with celiac disease, eating out is often very difficult. That's why I was so impressed with Salza at the Franken-Therme in Bad Windsheim. Three dishes were clearly marked as gluten-free, and the issue of cross-contamination is well-known. They even use a separate fryer for the fries! And not only was the food safe for me, but it also tasted absolutely delicious!! Thank you so much, and I'll definitely be back very soon!!

Everything on the menu tastes delicious. There's a separate seating area for swimmers from the neighboring pool, and the payment system with the "locker wristband" is very convenient. Swimmers don't need cash.

For a restaurant located in a spa, you have to honestly say that the standard is still very high! The food was truly delicious, the staff extremely friendly, and the ambiance was perfectly fine. When the restaurant was full, new guests were politely asked to wait outside until a table became available, so that existing guests could enjoy their meal in peace and didn't feel rushed! Very tasty and unique food. The vegetarian burger with a walnut patty and fig mustard was incredibly delicious. A great change from vegetarian.

Wellness and great food. The restaurant is more like a high-end cafeteria. But that's okay, since the bathers here come fresh from the thermal baths to enjoy great food with courteous and extremely fast service. The food comes freshly prepared and quickly from the kitchen. I had currywurst with a delicious sauce, presumably homemade. In the evening, delicious cordon bleu. No frozen food. Payment is made with wristbands, which you can also add a generous tip to, because you're always satisfied, and that's something you deserve to acknowledge.

Carp fillet with potato and cucumber salad in a bathrobe? You can have it at the Franken Therme. More specifically, at the Salza. And the best part is, it's not just any spa-style food, but genuine, solid food. Delicious, hot, cooked to perfection, and seasoned with an excellent Franconian potato salad, just like my grandma used to make. And a bowl of herb sour cream to go with it. A definite 5 stars!

We're back at the RV park in Bad Windsheim. Today, we visited the Franken-Therme spa again, and there, again, we visited the "Salza" restaurant, and we were very satisfied. It's rare to find a restaurant in a spa with such an appealing menu (not just the usual fast food, but also regional specialties, such as Schäufele!). The staff is also very friendly and accommodating. We'll be back!

I came for dinner and was very satisfied overall. The place was full, and even without a reservation, I was warmly welcomed and well seated. Very attentive and friendly service. Even a spontaneous change of order due to a salad allergy was easily accommodated. The food was delicious. I'd be happy to return!

At Salza, you can eat and drink inside the thermal baths while wearing a bathrobe, or outside – both indoors and outdoors. We weren't bored by the food selection three days in a row. Only the burgers are (as is often the case) too dry in my opinion. The Franconian Sauerbraten with plenty of sauce is definitely recommended. But the lighter wraps are also good. On a weekend, when dining is only possible inside, thermal bath guests unfortunately have to wait for a table, as the indoor area is quite limited (about 10 minutes).

I don't recommend the peanut curry. It wasn't fresh, and the vegetables were mushy and salty. The worst curry I've ever eaten. Service comment: "I'll pass on this."

The service was quick and on point. Unfortunately, the atmosphere of the restaurant tends to be a fast food restaurant. It's also a shame that tables for two are so squashed. The food is delicious.

We ordered two different dishes. We enjoyed Schäufle. The burger was good, but a bit dry and the potato wedges were in there too long. The prices are okay.

It's all about wellness during a nice day at the thermal baths: food always tastes good, and great attention is paid to its placement on the plate according to the motto "the eye eats with it". The menu changes depending on the season, which is also a plus. Service was never a problem, always polite and courteous, and willing to compromise when mistakes were made. Ambiance is very pleasant outside even in summer, due to inflation only points are deducted in terms of how much the food costs. But ok for a wellness day. We enjoy you!

Food below average for the prices, nicely seasoned with Maggi, “wok” noodles were NEVER out of the wok, but were never asked if it was right. Wait 15 minutes, with empty glasses and plates not cleared, until the waitress has lit all her candles. At the end the waitress got mushy and passively asked the room what was going on with this table. I wouldn't recommend it.
