Very friendly staff and a good selection of food. The price/performance ratio and quality were very good. Our burgers and the tenderloins were very tasty. We'll be back.

The service was quick and on point. Unfortunately, the atmosphere of the restaurant tends to be a fast food restaurant. It's also a shame that tables for two are so squashed. The food is delicious.

We went there for dinner after the Franken-Therme. Super tasty and just that certain something in terms of taste. You can taste the quality of the meat and feel the attention to detail. The salad with homemade dressing was also very good. The home-baked cake is also recommended. For us, after a long time, it was a gastronomic experience that we will remember fondly. We are already looking forward to our next visit to Salza :)

Mega Franconian restaurant directly at the Bad Windsheim thermal baths

We ordered two different dishes. We enjoyed Schäufle. The burger was good, but a bit dry and the potato wedges were in there too long. The prices are okay.

Burgers, wraps, salads, currywurst, great!! Unfortunately, Schäufele is not recommended, without salad, very very salty!

It's all about wellness during a nice day at the thermal baths: food always tastes good, and great attention is paid to its placement on the plate according to the motto "the eye eats with it". The menu changes depending on the season, which is also a plus. Service was never a problem, always polite and courteous, and willing to compromise when mistakes were made. Ambiance is very pleasant outside even in summer, due to inflation only points are deducted in terms of how much the food costs. But ok for a wellness day. We enjoy you!

We were there for lunch after a visit to the thermal baths. Nicely decorated and not too noisy in the restaurant. The Schäuffele there is really recommended. Sufficient portion. Price reasonable. Would visit the restaurant again.

Food below average for the prices, nicely seasoned with Maggi, “wok” noodles were NEVER out of the wok, but were never asked if it was right. Wait 15 minutes, with empty glasses and plates not cleared, until the waitress has lit all her candles. At the end the waitress got mushy and passively asked the room what was going on with this table. I wouldn't recommend it.

Yesterday we went to the thermal baths and had dinner in the evening. The food is very tasty and reasonably priced. We particularly noticed the super friendly and quick service team. Seldom seen such good teamwork.

A really great restaurant whether inside or outside the thermal baths! Definitely a visit, very tasty food, super cheerful waiters, what more could you want. And !!! We went there for dinner at the weekend while visiting the thermal baths. The food was delicious. Unfortunately there is a star deduction due to difficult naming of dishes on the menu. In my opinion you should perhaps... Think up new names for some things. In my opinion, calling a drink and recommendation from the house “dicke Inge” or low carb zoodels “light Lotte” is body shaming and sexist. For all dishes, only female names were mentioned to describe what was shown; for example, “slim Manfred” was not to be found. I think there are enough alternatives to name dishes. Otherwise, as I said, very tasty and solid food.

If we make it to the thermal baths, we always like to come back here. We go to the regular restaurant because we like it better than the part in the bathing area. We always eat something different and it is always delicious. Whether hot hen, liver or Schäufele. The service is great. Friendly, quick and always with a nice saying. This time we were able to enjoy the rump steak and the sauerbraten. Everything was super tasty again, the meat was on point and tender. The portions are also big enough to fill you up. Delicious food, we had a lot of different things. I had the billy goat Burger, unfortunately it was a bit dry due to the patty, you could counteract this with a more liquid sauce. The view of the thermal baths was a bit strange at first, but not disturbing in itself. Prices ok the service staff were very nice and accommodating.

It's just amazing how quickly, friendly and very tasty food is served here. Even if the house is full, you don't have to wait very long to take a seat at one of the nicely set tables. The Salza, the restaurant in the thermal baths, was a great addition to our visit to the thermal baths. The selection of dishes is diverse and offers something for everyone. I had the “Fette Henne” salad with turkey strips, which was very tasty and fresh. Our group also ordered the schnitzel and a burger, and everyone was satisfied - the food was well prepared and attractively served. The service was excellent: friendly, attentive and quick, which made the stay even more pleasant. The price-performance ratio is also good here, so we are happy to recommend the restaurant. We'll definitely be back!

Went there for dinner today. It's a very nice atmosphere. The service staff was very friendly and service-oriented. Had salmon with salad and baked potato. We went to the thermal baths yesterday and had a really good meal there. The presentation, the dishes are attractive and the young man in service was great!

The restaurant was full and we gave the seats that were first available to the couple who came in before us. We waited briefly at the side and the waitress only asked us to leave the restaurant as we walked past because our swimming trunks and swimsuits were still slightly dripping, even though we had towels on. It's definitely nicer and this swimsuit can drip for longer. We ate somewhere else.

My food was ready super quickly, and a super delicious goat cheese burger with a walnut patty (maybe a bit too much fig mustard), wedges just right and fresh dip on the side. Service was okay!

The Salza restaurant is really a beautiful restaurant with a great ambience. The service was simply great, very friendly and attentive. A tip for everyone: Be sure to reserve, otherwise it could be difficult to get a place! As a starter I had a wonderfully delicious goulash soup, and as a main course I had a rump steak 'Brazilian style', which was really fantastic. Absolutely recommended! But as I said, be sure to make a reservation so you can enjoy this great restaurant.

You can't miss the Salza restaurant, it's easy to see right at the entrance. It is clean and well maintained. What really bothered me was that you had to wait in line in front of the restaurant until you were allowed in. In some cases there were still free seats and you could have asked the respective guests if you could sit down. The condition then abruptly said that the kitchen was currently slowly being overloaded. The bathroom operators should really retrofit this. There should already be capacity for the guests. And it wasn't rush hour. It was like that all day. The service wasn't exactly friendly, but she also had a lot of work. The food was mediocre. Why do those who book an hour get half an hour of time in the restaurant for free and those who have a day ticket get nothing?

We are enthusiastic and that means something, we ourselves are restaurateurs at a Franconian restaurant in Nuremberg and we criticize some other restaurants not here but in our living room, but privately But the owners shouldn't worry here because we didn't just want to give five stars, no, it would even be one more. Everything is just right in this restaurant, even though thousands of spa guests and tourists dine there. The service is a dream, normally with such a number of guests a long waiting time is to be expected, no, we got great service. Keep it up people, RESPECT. The stupid complainers and hobby chefs, hey, stay at home, no one wants guests like that, you don't deserve any service or delicious food. A restaurant at and in the thermal baths in Bad Windsheim. As part of a thermal stay, we had dinner in Salza on three days. The waitresses were busy and tried to fulfill the guests' wishes quickly and in a friendly manner. On the first evening I had “salmon with salad”, on the second day I had an excellent “Franconian Sauerbraten” and on the third evening I had a TexMex burger. All three dishes were excellent, although I liked the sauerbraten the best. The sauce was absolutely delicious and “toilet with sauce” would have been enough for me. We also had the Franconian bratwurst and the cordon bleu. To drink I had tasty, regional dark beer. The prices are not exactly for those on a budget, but are quite reasonable given the quality. It is strongly recommended to reserve a table for the evening. Especially on Wednesdays and Fridays when there is a barbecue evening. The outside area is somewhat protected from the blazing sun with parasols and trees. We would go here again.

Service was great. Unfortunately, the food was subpar, especially for the price. Spaghetti completely overcooked and tomato sauce without any spices. There was also a "burger" with fig jam (declared as fig mustard but the ingredients are clear) that only tasted like it and was still too dry (which is a work of art). After complaints, the boss showed us the fig jam and emphasized again that it was fig mustard (ingredients: figs, sugar, dextrose, gelling agent) and assumed that we didn't know what fig mustard was. Absolute disaster.

A phenomenal restaurant!!! Both as a guest in the thermal baths and at dinner. Really delicious food (burgers are awesome!!!), inexpensive and of a quality that is impressive. Super fresh salads and products. The fruit ice cream sundae was the best I've ever eaten (and I've eaten a lot of them!!). And the brilliant and super friendly service, just awesome!!! I could write so much more positive stuff, so go and enjoy yourself!!! When it comes time to visit the thermal spa, we won't eat anywhere else!!

When we are in Bad Windsheim, a meal at Salza is a must for us. The service is super friendly, the food is delicious. I find the menu very colorful and varied, everyone should find something there. The restaurant is located directly in/at the Frankentherme and can be visited both from outside and from the bathing area of ​​the thermal baths. The menus are the same in both areas. Food is really OK for a thermal spa. We recommend Franconian sour roast or the popular Schäufele. The food is a bit "hard on salt"... but tastes are different. The service is quick and friendly. Be sure to order a “Freilandmuseum Dunkel” at Schäufele!
