PREGNANT WOMEN WERE SERVED ALCOHOL
Very beautiful courtyard (but quite cramped) & the food was delicious. The service from the staff was initially excellent. After I asked for a non-alcoholic wine, I was offered a non-alcoholic Hugo. It was very good. They repeatedly asked us politely if everything was okay. When we had finished our drinks, a new order was placed with a request for another non-alcoholic Hugo (I am currently visibly pregnant). A different waitress brought the drinks & I asked again if this one was non-alcoholic. The lady confirmed that it was non-alcoholic. Since the color was different from the first Hugo, I carefully tasted it and found that it was mixed with alcohol. My companion confirmed this. We immediately asked the waitress to come to our table. The lady who took the first and second orders then said that she hadn't taken the first order and therefore didn't know that I had drunk a non-alcoholic drink. She dismissed me as "stupid" and said I should have mentioned this with the second order (I did mention it; but I shouldn't have had to because of my "pregnancy belly"). I was then given a new non-alcoholic Hugo. From then on, however, we were no longer noticed and the friendliness towards us suddenly disappeared, and we were only served with "eye rolls."
Likewise, if you work in a "wine" bar, you should have some knowledge of wine. My companion asked about wines and the waitress was completely clueless. It would also be nice if the "wine" bar had non-alcoholic wines on the drinks menu.
The food at Vita is of high quality and very tasty. The prices are on the upper limit, but reasonable. We didn't have the menu, but 3 courses á la carte. Then there will be no greetings from the kitchen and no petité four. It's a shame because the price is the same.
The service was friendly, but unfortunately a little less attentive.
After 3 hours there was too little oxygen in the room. Overall very ambitious, but still with potential for improvement here and there. Then the prices are right too.
This bar has enormous potential. Unfortunately, the toilet stinks so bad that it blows up to all the tables and the whole bar stinks of urine. You really need to get it under control! As soon as this is solved, the 2 stars will go back to 5
A wonderful restaurant in Mittenwald! All meat dishes are incredibly tasty – you can taste the quality and attention to detail. I'm particularly grateful for the fish on the menu, which was served without breading - this way the real taste comes out much better.
The interior is in traditional Bavarian style and, together with the always pleasant atmosphere, creates a feeling of genuine hospitality. And the heart of this place is undoubtedly the service: always warm, attentive and with real soul. Thank you for this lovely experience!
The Käshiesle convinced us across the board! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, so you immediately feel at home. I would particularly like to highlight the excellent onion roast, which was cooked to perfection - tender meat, wonderfully aromatic fried onions and a delicious sauce. The desserts were also an absolute highlight: lovingly prepared and the taste was a dream. The service was also first class - the waitress was extremely friendly, attentive and gave us great recommendations. All in all, a perfect evening that I won't soon forget. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
The pizza was very tasty. It's been a long time since I've eaten such a delicacy. Both the pasta and the toppings were in good proportion. Service is kind and friendly. We didn't have to wait too long either.
Of course we'll be back.... 😉
We went there twice. Once, on a Monday, I had liver. It was okay. On the second visit, I had a grilled knuckle. It was nothing. It was crisped up in the deep fryer. The meat was tough and dry. The service was okay. The ambiance is charmingly old-fashioned from the 90s and decorated without much love.
