Ein Zwischenstopp, tolles Essen

Super Biergarten am Maibaum. Es gibt schattige und sonnige Sitzplätze. Es gibt für jeden etwas auf der Speisekarte, teilweise kann man bei manchen Gerichten auch kleine Portionen bestellen. Auch wechselt die Speisekarte öfters im Es abwechslungsreicher zu machen.

Hatten Hunger - 25 min gewartet - Getränke kamen - danach kein Service mehr - mussten zum Zahlen rein - sorry 🤷

Wir haben sehr spontan gebucht und die Rezeption war super freundlich, flexibel und unkompliziert. Das Zimmer ist top Qualität. Tolles Raumklima und ruhig. Betten sind ebenso sehr bequem. Das Frühstück hat sehr tolle Auswahlmöglichkeiten. Etwas wenige vegane Optionen, aber es gibt immerhin Hafermilch und Avocadocreme vegan.

Wir haben hier gut gegessen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend❗

Von der Bedienung Lisa , die sehr kompetent, nett und freundlich ist, bis meinem Schweinebraten - hervorragend. Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre zum Wohlbefinden. Schatzi war auch mit seinen Zwiebelrostbraten sehr zufrieden.

Wir brauchten einen Platz zum Essen. Es war eines der wenigen Lokale, die wir finden konnten. Der Spargel war saisonal und sehr lecker. Guter Service und angemessene Preise.

Bei unserem spontanen Kurzurlaub Besuch konnten wir netterweise auch ohne Reservierung traditionelle Küche in stylischem Ambiente genießen. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Und die Preise, auch angesichts der Location, absolut in Ordnung.

Wir waren dreimal hier essen. Es war jedes Mal ein Hochgenuss empfehlen kann man hier den Schweinekrusten braten. Die Bedienung ist hervorragend und speziell der Kellner. Andreas hat uns hervorragend bedient. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Die Küche verdient mehr als nur ein Lob. Auch der Service verdient die volle Anerkennung.

Alles war hervorragend. Das Ambiente, der Service und das Essen. Die Gerichte waren köstlich und sehr schmackhaft, und das Restaurant ist nicht teuer.

Gemütliches Lokal, sehr leckeres Essen und perfeker Service. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Wir kamen nach einem Spaziergang am See spontan und ohne Reservierung hierher, und obwohl es gut besucht war, wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen. An einem wunderschönen Tag konnten wir draußen auf der Terrasse sitzen, die Bedienung war unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend, und das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Später erfuhren wir, dass einer der Köche Grieche ist und unterhielten uns sogar nett mit ihm. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Nachmittag – ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder.

Sehr sehr nette Bedienung! Jana war einfach super! Schon lange nicht mehr so süß bedient worden. Von der Chefin kam leider nicht mal eine Begrüßung, geschweige denn ein Lächeln. Essen war extrem gut!

War wieder mal nach 2 Jahren im Restaurant im Hotel Terofal am Schliersee. Es war alles gut, vor allem der gute Sercice. Leider muss ich aber anmerken, dass alle Klamotten danach stark nach Essen Rochen. Das sollte in so einem guten Restaurant nicht sein.

To our delight, we were able to get a table for two this Sunday at lunchtime. We had an excellent meal and will gladly return more often!

A truly fantastic restaurant. We stumbled upon it by chance and have visited several times since. Delicious dishes, regional products (e.g., fish from the Schliersee fishery next door), and a charming, cozy atmosphere. We've always felt completely at ease and everything has been perfect. Bavarian economy with a feel-good atmosphere.

We ended up there spontaneously because many places were closed around 5-6 pm on a Sunday. The food was very good for the price, and the service was super friendly. We will definitely come back and I highly recommend it!

The food was excellent and completely met my expectations. The pleasant atmosphere, which reminded me very much of Bavarian coziness, deserves special mention. The decor is charming and contributes significantly to the overall experience. I would gladly recommend this restaurant.

Large portions, fast service, delicious food, and a lovely terrace for sitting. Make sure you reserve, at least in good weather. Everything was perfect.

The food and the restaurant were excellent. The service was initially good, but quickly declined. Reordered drinks only arrived after repeated requests. We also had to chase the bill. That was a real shame.

Great service and delicious food. The staff was friendly, the food was served promptly, and it tasted great. We were also very lucky with the weather—a warm, sunny day at the beginning of autumn—and were able to snag the last available table in the shade for four of us. Reservations are highly recommended if you're not a spontaneous visitor like we were.

The cheese spaetzle were a dream! The pork roast was also delicious. The service was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere outside was cozy after candles were brought out.

Since the renovation and change of ownership, this has become a truly beautiful restaurant and bar, complete with a beer garden! We've been there several times on all sorts of occasions and have always been very satisfied—which is why we enjoy coming from the Tegernsee Valley to Schliersee.

We got married in August at the Schliersee Almbad Huberspitz with around 20 people. We had an aperitif at lunchtime and dinner in the evening at the Terofal restaurant. It was the best decision we could have made. From the organization with Ms. Leitner to the end of the meal (the quality was incredibly good and delicious), everything went smoothly, and we had a wonderful private room behind the bar. Despite many changes during the planning phase, e.g., the number of guests, etc., Ms. Leitner was always directly available and accommodated the changes with joy and patience. On the wedding day, we were able to completely unwind because everything had been perfectly prepared. Our personal waiter, Max, also deserves special mention; he was super friendly and dedicated. And of course, we shouldn't forget the food was incredibly delicious, and we have to say we pay close attention to quality. One of the best meals we've ever had. Our guests were also thrilled. Thank you to Ute Leitner and Max for this wonderful day!

We spontaneously stopped at Xaver in heavy rain after a hike, having already been unable to find a seat at another restaurant. Nevertheless, the three of us managed to get a spot. I had a Wiener Schnitzel, which was delicious. The service was friendly, the decor was unobtrusive, and all in all, it was very pleasant.

I would gladly give it more stars. It was amazing! We got a table without a reservation. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the food selection was varied and a delight in terms of both taste and quality! We had schnitzel with fries and roasted potatoes, as well as the sirloin steak bistecca. Absolutely top value for money! Highly recommended. We had a truly lovely evening.

Very nice Bavarian-style restaurant. Very good and friendly service. Pleasant ambiance both inside and out. We ate, among other dishes, sirloin steak bistecca, schnitzel, pretzel dumpling carpaccio, and pork roast. All very tasty and at a good price. We'd be happy to come back. It's nice that we were able to get lunch after 2 p.m. (Thursday and public holiday). Reservations are recommended. The online booking worked great, even with a reminder.

So it's rare to eat so well in a, I'll say, "excursion restaurant" restaurant, the prices are completely OK, as are the drinks prices. The waitresses were extremely friendly, even when choosing a seat. We'll go there again in the summer.

We had a nice time here, all the dishes were pretty good. It was nice that they accepted card payments and had English Menu too. Tried the seasonal asparagus day menu and really enjoyed it! The smoked salmon was alright.

Price performance ok, service relatively quick, rooms nice, food good, difficult on Sunday evening without a reservation (in April), but doable

Finally a restaurant where the chef can prepare a real and delicious roast roast. Not raw, not over-fried, just perfect. Side dishes were also delicious. This restaurant is a "Must visit point" in Schliersee.

I was here several times last year and the food was very tasty and of very good quality. I ate, among other things, sirloin bistecca on rocket, tomatoes, parmesan and olives. The staff are very attentive and friendly. During the season it is recommended to reserve in advance. Good value for money. I will definitely come back.

Had onion roast with fried potatoes and char fillet with leaf spinach! The food looked very good, but after a short time we both noticed that the sauces and the spinach were quite salty, not to say oversalted! That was a shame because both the meat and the fish were of good quality! Our mouths were literally burning and we're not normally sensitive to that! When the very young waiter asked if everything was good, we packaged our criticism into the question of whether the chef was in love because everything was pretty salty! Then he just smiled sheepishly! There was no "sorry, we're sorry"....or maybe a schnapps on the house as a small gesture of compensation.....nothing! We found that quite unprofessional! We still had dessert which was good!

Our stay at Terofal was great! The team was warm, attentive and made us feel welcome. I went there with my family and there really was something for everyone (vegetarian, picky). The food was a delight – regional, fresh and prepared with love. Personally, I love the cheese spaetzle, I will definitely eat it again next time! We'll be back soon! *****

We stayed at the Xaver as a family with children at Christmas time. The food was really very good; I had beef broth with fries and then char (fresh from the Schliersee) -> top! The kids also really enjoyed it, even my daughter, who is a demanding vegetarian ;) Great cuisine at a reasonable price, nice ambience, “griabig and good”… We'll be there again in February!

The food was delicious and the waitresses were very friendly. The roast pork would have liked more dumplings and less meat for my taste. But gladly again :)

We ate there on New Year's Eve 2024. We were notified by phone in advance that the restaurant was overbooked. We were asked if the time from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. was enough for us. The next guests would arrive at 8:30 p.m. Since we have a small child, this wasn't a problem for us. However, when we were there we received very poor service and were completely dismissed. First of all - the food was good. Pretzel dumpling carpaccio and onion roast were very good. And if we had received a different service, this rating would be different! Service makes a huge difference! It started when we were asked what we wanted to order - we hadn't even sat there for 2 minutes. The whole thing then continued every two minutes. Questions were answered very clumsily and annoyed. As to whether the onion roast was lean meat, the answer was “it’s just beef”. We ordered a starter and a main course for each and dumplings with sauce for our little one. As requested, our little one's food came with our starter. After the starter, we wanted to wait a bit and ask that you wait a little longer for the main courses. But that didn't work and we were just told that the food was already ready. When we asked the waiter if the food could be warmed up again, all he said was "if you had just said that you wanted the food later" - which we did (after the starter) but it wasn't possible. Ab dem Zeitpunkt, wo unsere Teller abgeräumt wurden - es war 19 Uhr!!! - we didn't see the waiter anymore. It's just that we got an espresso macchiatto - which wasn't even one. The coffee machine does what it wants, was his answer. We were literally fobbed off and treated like second-class guests, so that the table was freed up for the next ones as quickly as possible. We're really not demanding and didn't have any unusual special requests. My husband comes from the hotel industry himself and so we know how it works, what is actually the rule and that it is not always easy. If the service had been different, our rating would definitely be negative. So it was unfortunately a very sad, sobering evening on New Year's Eve! That should have been something nice... a service can make the difference whether you stop by again or not.
