During our trip to Schliersee, we stumbled upon this lovely hotel-restaurant! And we were rewarded with a fantastic evening! The small menu features classics, some of which have been cleverly adapted to create a completely new taste experience! The food was truly delicious, and the service was excellent! Everyone was very friendly! We will be back!

Important: Best cheesecake I've ever had, and the pistazz cookie was also very good. The main courses are all delicious as well.

Lovely atmosphere. We tried the Indian food. As Indians ourselves, I can say it was pretty good! Great courteous and friendly waiters. If you go before it gets dark, great views of the alps through the glass doors! Definitely worth a visit!

We had such a wonderful experience at the restaurant at Karma Bavaria! The service was absolutely incredible — the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. The dessert was truly to die for — beautifully presented and just as delicious as it looked. On top of that, the restaurant offers stunning views that make the whole experience even more special. If you’re in the area, I couldn’t recommend this place more. Perfect for a relaxing, memorable meal!

Very friendly, attentive, and pleasant service, and superb food (recommendation: Karma Burger!). The only criticism: the ambiance could be a bit more harmonious, at least on the terrace (e.g., nicer parasols).

The quality is outstanding, I can't find any better words. The entire visit was 10/10, the service was outstanding. The food – a paradise for the palate! We'll be back!

The service was super friendly and charming. The main courses (Wiener-style schnitzel and pan-fried trout) were outstanding, beautifully presented, and delicious. The dessert (cheesecake and pistachio biscuit with raspberry ice cream) was a dream. We highly recommend this restaurant.

We just enjoyed the most delicious lamb shanks! Very tender and served with purple sweet potatoes. Fantastic and recommended m. You will not be disappointed with the food or the service.

Exceptional food but even better service!

The restaurant is located within the Karma Bavaria resort and stands out for its clean, well-kept environment and extremely kind staff. This was our second visit, driven by the excellent experience we had the first time. This time, we chose the 9-course tasting menu (€45 p.p excluding drinks) and, once again, we were very satisfied. Among the dishes I enjoyed the most: Cappelletti with ricotta and spinach in lemon butter sauce: pleasing an Italian abroad with pasta is no easy task, but this dish did it perfectly ;) German Veal with glazed carrots, sweet potato purée, and rosemary sauce: at first, I thought it might be too sweet for my taste, but its balance of flavors won me over, leaving me wanting another bite. Double Smoked Fish: incredible—I would come back every day just for this dish! The only criticism I have is about the Citrus Break (fresh lime gel, grilled orange, frozen grapefruit, and lemon granita). While it was refreshing and great for cleansing the palate before dessert, I didn’t see the grilled orange, and granita is a different story. Overall, this is a restaurant I would highly recommend, and I would gladly return.

This is an authentic gem in the middle of the German Alps. The Karma Bavaria Restaurant is an excellent option for all those who would like to try delicious food. The Master Chef Dario and Agustina have made this restaurant one of the best (if not the best) of the options to eat the best dinner in Schliersee. I came for a week to the hotel and can’t even try another restaurant as their food and service are exceptional. My wife and I are very happy to be at the Hotel and enjoying the menu with different food every night. Thanks Dario, Agustina and Karma for such a wonderful experience!!!!!

Gegeten met onze dochters van 11 en 13. Prima plekje op het terras. We hadden twee mail de burger en twee maal een kindergerecht met verse pasta. Prima eten. Het was op een vrijdag en dat was burgers en beer dag. Mijn vrouw bestelde een kleine cola en er werd keurig gevraagd of dat een grote mocht zijn. Dan was het menu van toepassing en de prijs lager. Prima service en eten was ook dat ook. Kosten totaal 50,80 voor vier grote frisdrank en de genoemde gerechten.

Very tasty food, but unfortunately a bit cold.

We stayed in the hotel for 6 nights and the restaurant was the place for us to eat most of the days. They have great food and amazing service. They have many Indian options as well and we really liked it. They were open for suggestions as well which was really great. They can make the menu a bit more flexible as now it gets boring after few stays for the guests who are staying for longer time. However if you are in the area for few days go ahead for Indian food here.

Wir waren heute zum Abendessen im Karmasee, als nicht Hotelgäste. Wir hatten drei indische Gerichte und waren äußerst begeistert. Ein echter Geheimtipp für indisches Essen in Schliersee! Wir hatten Butter Chicken, prawn curry und yellow Dahl. Dazu gab es jeweils reichlich Reis und Naan Brot. Alles war köstlich 😋 Auch der hauseigene Rotwein ist sehr zu empfehlen. Preis Leistung stimmt. Der Service war sehr gastfreundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Auch gemütliches Ambiente zum Sitzen. Wir kommen wieder!

A truly sophisticated restaurant, with a beautiful serving of food, we enjoyed every minute of our stay there. The service was very warm ,we all (a company of 5 people) liked the waitress Tina for her professionalism, and a very pleasant attitude to the guests! The food was delicious, very delicious!

Als 4 köpfige Einheimische Familie haben wir einen tollen Abend im Karmasee Restaurant genossen. Das sich in dem Resort befindliche Restaurant bietet nicht nur ausgezeichnetes Essen, sondern auch hervorragenden Service. Das Avocadotartar zergeht auf der Zunge und die Ochsenbacken sind ein kulinarischer Highlight. Es ist eine etwas andere Küche als in den Restaurants aus der Umgebung und die Speisekarte bietet eine tolle Alternative zu Schweinebraten oder Käsespätzle ohne diese Gerichte abwerten zu wollen. Der internationale Flair durch die Hotelgäste ist dann noch das Tüpfelchen auf dem I.

Wir haben alleine oder mit Freunden im Urlaub meist hier gegessen, weil es so gut war. Unsere Lieblingsgerichte haben wir sogar mehrfach gegessen....der Koch ist Gold wert! Vielen Dank auch an Scott und das ganze Serviceteam. Alle waren so freundlich und aufmerksam, daß wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt haben.

Prima financieel opgelost voor ons. Maar het blijft natuurlijk een drama dat je 2 uur lang in een restaurant op eten zit te wachten omdat er 6 personen ziek zijn van het personeel. En dat ze dan verbaasd opkijken dat je niet accepteert dat je uiteindelijk eerst het dessert krijgt en pas daarna het hoofdgerecht. Sluit dan het restaurant voor die avond als je niemand hebt om enige kwaliteit te leveren.

We stayed at the hotel and ate here for 4 of the nights so sampled quite a number of dishes on the menu. Very good range of dishes from traditional German to salads, burgers and even a curry. All were beautifully presented and very high quality . Our favourite was the local fish dish which was incredibly tasty . Staff friendly and attentive and excellent range of reasonably priced wine and beer. Breakfasts were also excellent . View from the restaurant during the day is wonderful.

We were staying at the hotel and came to the restaurant a bit late but that was no problem, even though we were the only ones there. The veal was really good and service was great. Thanks for a great meal!

You have to have a special knack to fail to capitalise on a captive customer base. The restaurant is charming and the staff are really friendly. It is clean comfortable light and airy but oh the menu. It is so limited amd so pricey. We had 2 buffet dinners and the starters were knockout but the main courses were dry from standing out for too long. The food waste must be enormous. With a decent, varied and reasonably priced menu people would flock in. They could put burgers, fish and chips and other ordinary stuff as well as local specialities.Wine and beer sales would increase and everyone would win. One question. Why no sausages?

Enjoyed our bavarian dinner buffet. Quite a variety from salad to hot food. Thoroughly enjoyed the smoked duck and herring. Not forgetting their apple strudel for dessert.

Wir hatten ein 3-Gang "Candle-light-dinner" gebucht. Speisen und Speisenfolge siehe Fotos. Eine der Hauptspeisen ware ein Kalbsrückensteak. Die Qualität des Fleisches war schlecht und wurde sofort und ohne Zögern zurück genommen. Das 2. Steak war dann hervorragend. Besonders hervorheben sollte man den aufmerksamen und freundlichen Service. Suppe und Dessert waren ausgezeichnet.

We stayed at the Karma Bavaria. We had the pizza at the restaurant and had some hot potato chips take away. The service was good overall a nice restaurant.

Wir hatten bei travelzoo einen Gutschein für das 3-Gänge-Menü für 2 Personen zum Preis von € 59 gekauft und waren sehr positiv überrascht. Wir konnten aus der Speisekarte frei wählen, welche Gerichte wir möchten und ausserdem waren 2 Glas Prosecco sowie eine große Flasche Wasser inklusive. Der Service war äußerst zuvorkommend. Das Essen ist geschmacklich hervorragend. Lange nicht mehr so gut gegessen. Die Steinpilzboullion schmeckte wirklich nach Steinpilz und das Risotto zur kross gebratenen Dorade war ein Gedicht. Die Portionen sind recht üppig, wir waren am Ende echt satt. Hier waren wir nicht das letzte Mal.

We stayed at the hotel for a week and ate a few times in this restaurant. The service was exemplary and the food fantastic, but one word of warning - the portions are quite large! Every meal was superb and starred the local Spring delicacy white asparagus and local lake char. The layout and décor of the restaurant is very comforting and is obviously popular with the locals as well as quests.

The Karmasee restaurant is within the Karma Bavaria resort complex on a hillside within the town of Schliersee, for guests and visitors it is very handy to get a nice meal instead of going out into the snow to dine at night. It also provides a very good buffet breakfast, but it is not open at lunchtime. My favourite meal is venison goulash with hazelnut spaetzli, cranberries and baby pear, smells and tastes divine, have also enjoyed several of their salads, Caesar, Carpaccio of Bavarian grass fed ox with wild rocket and fresh Parmesan, my husband loves the honey gratinated goat cheese, wild herbs and raspberry vinaigrette, and the smoked duck breast with wild herb salad, pomegranate vinaigrette and juniper apple wedges. We think the meals are interesting, well executed and plenty of choice on the menu. I like the fact that they offer Tegernsee char (fish from the lake in the next valley), and the must-have Wiener Schnitzel, and a really good 250g steak. There are vegetarian dishes, pasta, a very boutique deer burger and even Tikka Masala! Service is quick and attentive, waitress Christina in a pretty Bavarian dirndle skirt and apron speaks good English and is very experienced and well trained. On Friday nights they offer a Bavarian buffet so guests can enjoy a range of local specialities.

The food at the Karma Resort was wonderful steak, pork, fish and chips and schnitzels all magnificent. Obviously a good chef, supported by great staff. Cristina in particular was fantastic. No complaints whatsoever about the food here
