The food was fantastic. The service very friendly, but sometimes distracted.

Small restaurant with incredibly friendly staff and a small but selected menu. Reservations are strongly recommended - we were lucky to get a spot. The beer is Mittenwalder, the onion roast is just as sensationally good as the previous reviewers already noted.

Such great service, absolutely deserves 5 stars. Food also looks bombastic. This is a candidate for a local pub

Very good Bavarian restaurant with a very friendly landlady! Great food! Everything fresh! Go to the restaurant in good time, perhaps make a reservation in advance. At around 8:30 p.m. the guests had eaten the restaurant empty! Thank God there was enough beer! Great atmosphere!

We stopped in for an early dinner while on a bike ride. It was really nice there. You have to emphasize the 1A service. Both service employees were very friendly and tried very hard. Service is very important here. Big compliment! The food was very tasty and we were happy to find a restaurant with this honest cuisine. I was also able to spontaneously charge my e-bike battery there. Thank you again for that. Please keep it up!

Small but nice restaurant, reservations are mandatory. The landlady is extremely nice and on the ball. Large portions, price/performance ratio is top. I rarely give 5 stars, but I've never had such a good onion roast. My companion had the zander, which was also outstanding.

Nice place with great local food

Since we regularly look at the menus in our holiday resorts, we also ended up here on our tour of Mittenwald. A clear menu on which the spinach dumplings and onion roast roast immediately caught our attention. Two days later we dined here. And... our pre-selection did not disappoint us. Simply delicious. In addition, a very friendly landlady and a cozy restaurant. That's how it should be. This restaurant can only be recommended.

A small restaurant that was a bit irritating due to its outside snack bar charm, but revealed a rustic parlor inside! The food was delicious and quick to prepare and the service was friendly and quick.

The young lady in service was friendly. However, I gave her back the cookies that came with the coffee. They had already expired. Unfortunately, no excuse, no replacement. Nothing. Well, leaves something to be desired. The coffee was ok. The apple strudel wasn't bad, but only average. There are a few shops in town that we would visit again, but this restaurant is not one of them.

Food was very delightful and food of flavour.

A really cozy restaurant with very friendly staff, great smoking area and down-to-earth prices. Dogs are welcome and pampered. The few dishes are arranged in a very down-to-earth way, the pumpkin schnitzels take some getting used to, but the spinach dumplings are a real hit.

It's just incredibly beautiful and not a mass gastomy. The kind-hearted Rita cooks personally and everything just fits. The small but fine restaurant is furnished with love and you don't miss anything.

There was no Currywurst, but overall it is an amazing place. After hiking in the mountains for 15+ km we have been amazed by the prices, food and atmosphere at the Hochland restaurant 🍴. There were mostly locals which is a nice addition. Moreover, Helles beer🍻 had an unusual flavor - a bit sweet or maybe even a bit of honey 🍯 flavored. We loved it!

We had the onion roast - absolute recommendation, it was perfect! We didn't really like the salad, but that's a matter of taste. There isn't much space in the restaurant but it's enough.

It seems to be a family restaurant. The lady that served us was really kind and thoughtful with the recommendations she would give for our baby‘s meal. Every dish we ordered was very tasty - the beef with horseradish sauce and the schnitzel with pumpkin seeds. The atmosphere is very comfortable - feels like home! Thank you for everything!

Es hat einfach alles gepasst. Unser Hund bekam kein Wasser aber dafür hatten wir selbst gesorgt. Es war viel los, da kann es schon mal passieren, dass man die Gäste unterm Tisch vergisst . Essen Top. Preise entsprachen der Region.

Hatten zweimal Zwiebelrostbraten, beide perfekt. Aufmerksamer Service. Hund bekam sofort Wasser und Bedienung schaute des öfteren nach dem Rechten. Das alles zum guten Preis, Rostbraten für 21€.

Lekker vers en met liefde gemaakte gerechten. Een gastvrouw uit duizenden dus zeer zeker de moeite waard om de gezelligheid en een goede maaltijd te proberen. In de vakantie meerdere keren daar gegeten en ben zeer tevreden over service maaltijd en prijs.

Goede keuken en supervriendelijke bediening. We waren hier al vaker eten. Het eten is lokale keuken en met liefde bereid. Je voelt je hier welkom en kan er gezellig en lekker lang zitten. Absolute aanrader.

Zamówiliśmy currywursty, salatke , nalesniki. Niestety konfitura w naleśnikach była zepsuta. Currywursty ok.

Wir waren hier zweimal in unserem Urlaub essen, beides Mal hat es sehr gut geschmeckt. Auf individuelle Wünsche wird eingegangen, soweit möglich. Nette freundliche Bedienung. Wir würden wiederkommen.

This restaurant didn't look as appealing as the other places in Mittenwald from the outside but the food and the atmosphere were great! There were some English menus we could use and the lady there was very happy to help us order. The food was good and there were various options available (including vegetarian dishes). I tried the wild garlic pasta, and although the dish was good I can't say that I was a big fan of the garlic. However, the side salad was better than expected and it could even be considered a standalone meal.

Das kleine Restaurant,unweit des Martina Glagow Parks,muß man Wenn in Mittenwald ist besuchen. Es hat ein schönes Ambiente,ebenso einen Aussenbereisch,für die Raucher. Die Angebotenen Speisen sind sehr Gut zubereitet.Jedoch sind die Portionen nicht gerade üppig. DIE Chefin steht selbst am Herd,auch Das Mittenwalder Jager Bier gibt es Hier.Alles in allem eine Empfehlung.

Leider um kurz nach 20:00 Uhr keine warme Küche aber ansonsten sehr schön

Fangen wir mit dem etwas negativen an, wie überall, a.G. Personalmangel war die Bedienung leider im Dauerstress hat aber alles super hinbekommen. Essen war top. Saßen draußen, drinnen war leider nix mehr frei. Gerne wieder.

Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Das Essen hat mich schon enttäuscht. Ich habe lange keine so versalzenen Pommes mehr gegessen. Der Vorspeisensalat kam mit dem Hauptessen.

Preis-Leistung passt. Das Rumpsteak war von guter Qualität und fast perfekt gebraten. Die Bratkartoffeln waren perfekt. Der Service war sehr freundlich.

Essen ist OK, aber nichts besonderes. Die Portionen sind für den Preis wirklich sehr klein, da kriegt man selbst im Ski Gebiet für den gleichen Preis mindestens 50% mehr Inhalt...

Als wir da waren, war die Karte wegen Personalmangel reduziert, dennoch hatte man genug Auswahl und das Essen hat geschmeckt. Lokal ist traditionell und sehr urig eingerichtet, gemütlicher, kleiner Gastraum (nicht mehr als 8 Tische drinnen, aber es gibt noch eine Terrasse)

Immer wieder ein Genuss dort zu speisen, kommt zwar eher einem gut bürgerlichen Gasthaus nahe aber so oder so, lecker, egal was man dort isst. Zudem, tolle Chefin und nettes Personal...
