As the host of "The Crime Dinner," the "Goldener Adler" restaurant is perfect for our dinner formats. It not only offers delicious and fresh food in a cozy atmosphere, but also excellent service. The on-site team is extremely helpful and professional, ensuring our events run smoothly. All in all, a great collaboration – we look forward to future events! Best regards, engesser marketing team

Unfortunately, I was served the worst beef goulash I have ever eaten. On the one hand, I have doubts as to whether it was really pure beef goulash because the pieces of meat clearly differed in color and consistency. On the other hand, the pieces were absolutely tough and everything tasted almost exclusively like tomatoes. For me, a piece of goulash has to be so soft that it can be split with a fork. This meal was miles away from that. It's incomprehensible to me that almost everyone at our table was served their food with a real load of panko flour on the filling side dishes. And respect for the bread dumplings: I have never seen "homemade" bread dumplings that were so uniform in shape and size. The chef seems to be a real machine. South Tyrolean top chefs, who are known for their excellent dumplings, should take an example. They don't get the "homemade" thing right. Irony off. Unfortunately, another negative point was the service. The answer to my complaint about the goulash was: I would pass it on to the kitchen. Nothing more was heard. Pretty poor in my opinion! Things then got interesting with the bill when the service employee wanted to charge me for a more expensive drink than I had and then tried to explain to me that the two drinks cost the same. He only reluctantly reissued the invoice. Because of all these circumstances, I was unwilling to pay a tip. The culmination was that the employee simply didn't give any change, but probably took tips for granted. This restaurant definitely doesn't get a recommendation from me.

We also came based on reviews and had a strange feeling at first. But we were pleasantly surprised by the food. Everything was freshly made, and the price was completely reasonable.

Very nice and clean rooms, friendly service. Super close to the old town. The only negative point was a dog at breakfast that shook itself several times at the neighboring table and at the buffet and spread dog hair. This is unhygienic and should not be allowed.

As a 'Haller,' you're naturally familiar with the Southwestern—after a night out, it was always a place to go. Visited again after years, and well, it feels like hardly anything has changed. Of course, experiences are very subjective, so how the 4.5 rating came about is a mystery to me. First, the ambiance—if you like 'cowboys and Indians,' you'll feel at home here—objectively, everything seems a bit cold, unloving, and run-down. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, and there's plenty of parking. The service is neither particularly positive nor particularly negative; ordering went smoothly. Now for the most important thing—I ordered a 360g Mustang with fries and a Coke. I have a negative impression of the taste of the burger. Instead of two patties, there's a huge flatbread that doesn't fit on the bun. You can do it that way—but I don't think it's pointless, since you eat the overhang first. A burger doesn't have to be steaming - warm would have been nice anyway. It was especially unfortunate that the sliced cheese wasn't even remotely melted - so I tossed it out because I don't like cold sliced cheese. The mayo was still noticeable due to its dominant flavor. The fries were okay. Overall, one had the impression that the burger was 'made' without much passion/motivation. Considering the price for the above-mentioned order with the served dish, the price/performance ratio of €32.50 is completely wrong in my opinion. That borders on cheeky. 'If you move with the times, you move with the times.' - hits the nail on the head here. That may have worked 15 years ago, but today there are real 'game changers,' most notably Toni Tänzer and WAMA's from Öhringen or 'Der Clown' from Schwäbisch Hall. And none of them are more expensive than what's offered here. Bottom line: One of the worst burgers at a very expensive price won't bring me back.

Since May 9th, 2025 I can only warn against ordering food there at 3:00 p.m. Although we were told on the first floor that there would also be outdoor service, no one came to take the order. We moved on hungry and angry.

TSV Hessental e.V. – A Club with Roots and Vision Active for Sports, Community, and Cohesion since 1923 The Turn- und Sportverein Hessental e.V. (TSV Hessental for short) is a traditional multi-sport club based in the Hessental district of Schwäbisch Hall, Baden-Württemberg. Founded in 1923, it currently has over 600 members – around a third of whom are children and young people. A living symbol of the club's sustainability and social responsibility. -- History From the Gymnastics Movement to Sporting Diversity The club's history begins in the spring of 1923, when sports-loving members of the Schwäbisch Hall SPD local group gathered at the "Zur Krone" inn. The goal was to establish a gymnastics club – named after the father of gymnastics, Friedrich Ludwig Jahn. The name: Arbeiterturnverein Jahn Hessental (Workers' Gymnastics Club Jahn Hessental). The first training sessions took place in the garden of the "Zur Eisenbahn" restaurant – outdoors, with enthusiasm and community spirit ☀️. A football department was founded as early as 1929 – the ball became a symbol of the sporting awakening ⚽️. During the Nazi era, the club was banned in 1933 as part of the Gleichschaltung (coordination of the state). But the community spirit remained: On January 22, 1947, it was refounded – a new beginning, driven by hope and commitment ✨. --- Growth & Sports Development A Club on the Rise The 1960s and 1970s were characterized by steady expansion: The current sports field was inaugurated in 1964 ️, and a new clubhouse opened in 1973 🏠 after the old one was destroyed by a storm 🌪️. The tenure of Erich Brucker (1976–1989) was particularly influential; under his leadership, the club developed modern structures and continued to grow 🌱. The TSV celebrated considerable sporting success: The footballers were promoted to the A-Division immediately after its re-founding 🏆. The table tennis department hosted the Württemberg Youth Championships and organized a highly acclaimed exhibition match with then-world champion Dragutin Surbek 🏓. --- Today & Tomorrow Sports unite – then and now Today, TSV Hessental stands for diversity in sports, committed youth work, and a vibrant community. The program ranges from soccer and gymnastics to modern health programs. With heart, movement, and a clear compass of values, TSV shapes the social life of Schwäbisch Hall – and always remains open to new ideas.

Driven there specifically. The only drinks there are free, at least that's what it says on the outside.
