We celebrated our tenth anniversary here. We had reserved a table in advance. A bouquet of flowers was also prepared upon request and placed on the table. The food tasted very good. Was a good choice for such an event. Dessert was served in a darkened restaurant with sparklers and congratulations on the anniversary written on the plates. We were very happy about it.

Great restaurant with great food and super friendly and committed staff. We'll definitely be back at some point, thank you very much!

The Bürgerstüble surprised me extremely positively. In my opinion, this restaurant is highly recommended - which is (unfortunately) the exception on Lake Constance. A restaurant with lots of local guests lives up to the name Bürgerstüble, the friendly waiters serve the guests quickly and the menu offers home-style food. We were pleasantly surprised when paying. The ratio of price to performance is also right here.

If you like it quiet with a view of the marina and Lake Constance, this is the place for you. Super great hotel. Comfort rooms are well equipped with a couch, closet, television, table and 2 chairs, double bed and a large bathroom with rain shower. Balcony also large with a table and 2 chairs. Breakfast is sufficient and there is something for everyone. The food in the restaurant was also great. Service and staff very friendly and helpful. Would come again and again.

The food is upscale and of really good quality: the tuna steak was fried to perfection, the salad was made with fresh ingredients and a fine dressing - the composition of the ingredients was also very harmonious. The children had Wiener Schnitzel with potato wedges, everything was good here too, as was the starter: bread with various dips and olive oil - big praise for the high-quality and great olive oil! The ambience impresses with an unbeatable view of Lake Constance. We were able to enjoy our meal in the sunset, it couldn't be better. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired, at least with our waitress: there was hardly anything going on, but it still took 10 minutes for the dirty dishes to be cleared away. The empty bottles and glasses that were no longer needed were only cleared away after repeated inquiries. To get to the dishes, the waiter reached across the table. When we wanted to have the menu to choose the dessert, the waiter came after 5 minutes (without a menu) to take our order for the dessert. In summary: inattentive, mediocre friendly and not a professional. To save our honor: The other waiter, who unfortunately didn't serve us, seemed better. We had thought about spending our next Lake Constance holiday at the Sonnenhof, but are now unsure: what if the rest of the service is the same?

A really great place, really good food, good service and a view of the lake

Wir waren diesen Sommer mehrere Male hier zum Abendessen. Die Kulisse ist traumhaft schön, direkt am See, man fühlt sich wie im Urlaub. Schon die telefonische Reservierung erfolgt äußerst freundlich, man freut sich schon vorab auf den Besuch in diesem Lokal. Das Essen war jedes Mal ein Genuss, vom Salat bzw. der Suppe angefangen, über den leckeren Fisch mit den feinen Saucen und Beilagen bis hin zum Dessert, war alles vorzüglich und von sehr guter Qualität. Die Kritiken von zu hohen Preisen können wir in keinster Weise nachvollziehen. Der Service war ausgesprochen freundlich, kompetent und aufmerksam. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne hierher.

We were there shortly before closing. The food was fantastic and the service was really nice. Prices were as usual. I had the grilled vegetables, my husband had sausage salad. We were totally disappointed to hear that the operator was closing. There were reports of problems with the landlord. I mean, it's the Motorboat Club at the harbor. To be honest, I can't understand how an owner can let such a good chef go. Totally stupid. The ambience is a bit strange. Seems slightly snobby. The only drawback. It might seem a little more “normal”.

The food is always of consistent quality and the portions are appropriate for the price. The service, however, is unreasonable. Some may like the "brisk" service, but I find it impossible when people ask for my order in a commanding tone. When the food is brought, the plate should be placed in front of the guest and not simply left at the end of the table as they walk past.

Been ordering from there for ages and are my favorite suppliers so far. Absolutely great food and super friendly staff. Delivery is always reliable ✨️

Sitting in a cozy, enchanted beer garden and eating tasty potato and cucumber salad with Maultaschen or veal bratwurst with Eton Mess for dessert has a very special charm. And the host couple cultivates this place in a very personal and loving way. To take away there are syrups, fruit spreads and pastries - all homemade. A Great Little Place!

Right at the beginning I would like to mention the reason for the bad rating. When we walked into the restaurant today at 6:30 p.m. it smelled like cigarette smoke. We were obviously the first guests, the staff sat at a table and watched TV. Then we made the mistake and stayed. We didn't like the fish platters we ordered in the least and at best served to satisfy our hunger. For this “experience” we paid over 70 euros including 3 beers. This won't happen to us again!
