Wunderschöne Lage, das Speisenangebot und die Qualität sind mittelmäßig. Der Service ist freundlich, aber langsam. Ein perfekter Ort für den herrlichen Blick auf die Berge und den Bodensee. Mehr gibt es dazu aber nicht zu sagen.

Wir waren in der Werft 1919 zum Abendessen. Der Blick auf den Bodensee und die Räumlichkeit an sich sind wunderschön. Das Essen war hervorragend (wenn auch etwas teurer) und das Service-Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Waren tagsüber bei Kiosk-Betrieb. Großartiges Ambiente, guter Kaffee und gute heiße Seelen

Übersichtlichr Karte für Familien mit kleineren Kindern nicht zu empfehlen.

Wir wurden von einem sehr aufmerksamen und freundlichen Kellner bedient, der uns sowohl über die Zusammensetzung der Speisen, wie auch über den Hintergrund des ausgefallenen, coolen Ambientes Auskunft geben konnte. Das Essen selbst war selbst für Restaurant-Verhältnisse besonders lecker und die Küche war sogar so freundlich, ihre Öffnungszeiten ein Stück nach hinten zu verlängern, da wir recht spät vom segeln kamen. Sowohl der Gastraum wie auch die Toiletten waren sehr sauber. Die Location ist bestimmt auch toll für größere Feiern/Events.

Wir haben unsere Hochzeit in der Werft1919 gefeiert und was sollen wir sagen: Besser hätte es wirklich nicht sein können! Schon beim ersten Kennenlernen wussten wir, dass wir hier genau richtig sind und haben uns rundrum wohl gefühlt. Das gesamte Team war jederzeit engagiert, aufmerksam und mit ganz viel Leidenschaft dabei, sodass wir unsere Hochzeit entspannt genießen konnten, weil im Hintergrund alles reibungslos funktioniert. Man merkt sofort, mit wie viel Herzblut hier gearbeitet wird. Die Location selbst ist einfach ein absoluter Traum. Das Ambiente der Werft ist einzigartig – modern, stilvoll und gleichzeitig unglaublich gemütlich. Für uns hätte es keinen perfekteren Ort für unsere freie Trauung geben können. Direkt am Wasser „Ja“ zu sagen, die frische Seeluft zu spüren und dabei das sanfte Rauschen der Wellen im Hintergrund zu hören, war einfach magisch und unvergesslich! Ein weiteres absolutes Highlight war das Essen. Die Speisen wurden in Gusspfannen direkt auf den Tisch serviert. Alles war frisch, hochwertig, perfekt abgestimmt und mit so viel Liebe zubereitet. Jeder einzelne Gang hat unsere Erwartungen weit übertroffen und auch von unseren Gästen haben wir ausschließlich begeistertes Feedback bekommen. Man merkt einfach, dass hier Qualität und bewusster, regionaler Genuss an erster Stelle stehen. Ein riesengroßes Dankeschön an das gesamte Werft1919-Team, insbesondere an Hannah, Julius und Johannes, die unseren Tag zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht haben. Ihr habt mit eurer herzlichen Art, eurer Professionalität und eurem Einsatz dafür gesorgt, dass unsere Hochzeit für uns und unsere Gäste einfach perfekt wurde. Wir würden uns immer wieder für die Werft1919 entscheiden und freuen uns jetzt schon riesig auf unseren nächsten Besuch bei euch! :)

Zahlreiche Maschinen und andere Original-Gegenstände aus der ehemaligen Werft schaffen eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre in einem historischen Ambiente. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Zum Essen äußern wir uns auf ausdrücklichen Wunsch des Restaurants hier nicht: "Negative Onlinebewertungen bringen uns und unsere Branche nicht weiter."

Rundum wunderschön, die Lage ist super, direkt am Wasser, das Ambiente ein Traum. Das Essen ist sehr sehr lecker und die Angestellten sind wahnsinnig freundlich. Hier bleiben keine Wünsche offen!

Tolles Restaurant mit schönem Ambiente in der ehemaligen Schiffswerft. Das Essen war sensationell – unsere Geschmacksnerven haben definitiv einen Freudentanz gemacht. 😄 Dazu ein herzensguter Wirt, bei dem man sich sofort willkommen fühlt. Wir waren gestern zum Valentinstag da . Das Essen war super , wir sind Vegetarier , auch das wurde beachtet . Man wurde lieb Empfangen und der Kellner war immer sehr aufmerksam. Er fragte auch nach jedem Gang , ob es geschmeckt hätte oder ob was nicht in Ordnung war . Getränke kamen auch sehr schnell . Und der Nachtisch war super lecker 😋 mit einer guten Idee . Wir bekamen den Nachtisch nicht auf einen Teller , sondern lieb und hübsch dekoriert auf eine extra hingelegte Tischdecke , sehr originell . Der jungen Mann ( ein Auszubildender ) hatte bei der Zubereitung richtig Freude daran und war zufrieden , als wir sagten , das es super lecker geschmeckt hätte . Alles in Allem , alles war hübsch dekoriert , überall Kerzenschein , sauber und das Fazit , wir kommen gerne wieder . Danke und lG Jutti und Klaus

Ich habe gestern mit meiner Frau unsere Hochzeit in der Werft gefeiert, und es war einfach unbeschreiblich schön! Das Essen war unglaublich lecker, wirklich ein Highlight. Der Service war ebenfalls außergewöhnlich – so aufmerksam und professionell, dass wir uns um nichts sorgen mussten. Jeder Wunsch wurde erfüllt, und man hat sich wirklich um jedes Detail gekümmert. Es war eine Erfahrung, die ich so noch nie gemacht habe. Ich würde an diesem Tag nichts ändern wollen, jede Entscheidung war perfekt, und ich würde diesen Ort immer wieder für so einen besonderen Moment wählen. Einfach unvergesslich!

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and originality of the food at this restaurant. They cook exclusively with regional products, and the close contact with the producers is clearly evident – ​​you can taste it in every dish. The service is warm, attentive, and truly leaves nothing to be desired. A fantastic restaurant for anyone who appreciates genuine, local, and authentic cuisine – highly recommended!

The restaurant is very cleverly decorated. Old machines and containers are integrated into the restaurant's decor. Very cozy, very stylish, everything fits together. Great service. But our meal (meatloaf for €33) was simply terrible. The side dishes were very good, but the roast was a tough lump, quite tasty but compact, firm, and hard. We should have sent it back... A total of €75 for two people with one main course, one snack, and two beers is simply too much, especially when the quality isn't up to scratch. It's a shame, because the ambiance is really nice.

We were staying at a small B&B in Kressbronn and discovered this nearby restaurant. The location is superb: an old shipyard from 1919 which went bankrupt in the 2010s and was turned into a restaurant and event space. The cuisine is wonderful; it accentuates regional products as well as providing a sustainable economic basis for its employees. I had a great vegan dish and my partner had a grilled chicken plate; we were both very happy with our choices. And as this region is famous for its distilleries, we closed out the evening with some very good grappa and schnapps made nearby. Absolutely recommend!

A truly special place right on Lake Constance! The "Werft 1919" combines industrial charm with modern gastronomy. You immediately notice that ships were once housed here. Today, you can not only enjoy excellent food here, but also simply grab a quick bite: a Yamo ice cream, a drink, coffee, or small snacks like chips. The best part is the location: you can take your drink with you, sit right by the lake, and enjoy the unique view. It's perfect for a relaxing afternoon with friends, family, or just the two of you. The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff friendly, and the mix of historic ambiance and lake view makes the visit something special. An absolute must-do when traveling around Lake Constance!

A visit to this wonderful restaurant in one of the most beautiful spots in southern Germany is a vacation for body and soul. The beautifully presented dishes are a delight for the eyes, the tongue, the heart, and the stomach. My personal highlight this summer is the burrata with the amazing balsamic sorbet. Wow!!!!!

Such a fantastic location! We had an event in the Werftsaal. Everything was just right. The view of Lake Constance, the unique decor, the service. Everything was perfect! Thank you for this.

Long waits for both drinks and food—the bartender was definitely not stressed. The beef was completely gristly and full of tendons—unacceptable at these prices. Service was attentive.

Beautiful place, interesting decor, good quality food, friendly service, good value for money

Cool location in a former shipyard, nestled between old ship diesel engines and workbenches. We were there for a Sunday afternoon concert...unfortunately, there was only one person at the kiosk, and we had to wait 30 minutes for the delicious Härle beer...so you just drink one... ;-)

Unfortunately, the food was really just average, but the price was not. The salad bowl is a small mixed salad – for just under €20. The pasta with shrimp was completely unseasoned, and the smashed sandwich was, unfortunately, nothing special for the money. Very friendly staff and a great location.

A magical place, an experience you'll never forget... The ambiance is so beautiful, the view priceless, and the atmosphere indescribable. Everyone was super nice and accommodating! Once again, just the two of us will be staying away :/

The two owners of Werft1919, Julius and Johannes, are incredibly helpful. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the evening candlelight concert with Tom Mayer was fantastic. We'd be happy to come back anytime.

Barbara and I had the pleasure of attending a private birthday party at the "Werft1919" location. We highly recommend this restaurant. Although the restaurant is large, it impresses with excellent food, very friendly staff, and a truly special ambiance thanks to its stunning location on Lake Constance. We enjoyed it and can happily recommend "Werft1919."

A wonderful place for relaxing hours by the lake. A great idea: in front of the restaurant, there are ample public seating areas on a staircase leading down to the lake (also with seating), where you can relax with a drink from the restaurant's beach bar (which is specifically designed for this purpose). The restaurant itself is spacious and airy. The quality of the food is exceptionally good and beyond the ordinary, even for vegetarians and vegans. Shipyard boys, you managed to surprise me! The whole thing comes at a price, but for us, the value for money was absolutely right. Bring your time; the hosts—the word fits perfectly here—are also relaxed. If you just want to quickly fill a hole in your stomach or are just passing through, this isn't the place for you. We'll definitely be back! Thanks :-)

Top service, very nice family-run restaurant, varied menu

It was absolutely beautiful. We were there for a wedding. What was really unfortunate was that the drinks were constantly being cleared away, even though there were still things on the table. Once, we were changing our son's diaper, and my husband put the beer behind him on the table. When he turned around five minutes later, it was gone. The food was absolutely delicious.

Werft1919 impresses across the board. The location directly on the water is truly ideal for a relaxing evening or a good meal in a pleasant atmosphere. You sit quietly, enjoy a beautiful view, and immediately feel at home. The food was high quality and tasted impeccable. The menu is well-thought-out, not overly elaborate, and offers something for everyone. The dishes were freshly prepared and presented in an attractive manner. The service was also very attentive, friendly, and well-organized; there were no long waits and excellent communication. A clear recommendation for anyone who appreciates good food in a special location. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful and super friendly owners and lovely, accommodating staff. Anyone planning a wedding or other celebration should definitely consider the shipyard. Great location right on the waterfront. We attended Tom Mayer's candlelight concert. And it was fantastic! Unfortunately, the rosé wine wasn't really to our taste. Otherwise, everything was highly recommended!

We celebrated our wedding at the shipyard in June, and the day was absolutely perfect! The location itself provides the perfect setting, with the shipyard hall for the ceremony and the hall for dinner and the party, but the service around it completes the package. Julius and Hannah were enthusiastic about the planning and on the day itself, supporting us with everything. The two of them did a fantastic job and were available at any time for questions or organizational matters. Our highlight was definitely being driven to the shipyard in Julius's boat and being greeted by all of our guests there. And thanks to the shipyard team, the entire process ran smoothly! Huge praise also goes to the shipyard's kitchen, who conjured up by far the best wedding dinner for us. Once again, a huge thank you to the entire shipyard team.

Es war ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis in diesem Ambiente einer uralten Werft zu speisen. Wunderschön architektonisch gestaltet, liebevoll zugewandt die Bedienung(Marwin), hervorragende Qualität der servierten kulinarischen Köstlichkeiten, auch die hübschen Teller und das golden glänzende Messingschüsselchen für das Dessert mit Birnentiramis u. Ob Argusrind, ob zarte Lachsforelle, alles war gelungen und ansprechend. Wir können es nur weiter empfehlen. Ich war begeistert und sagte das auch den emsigen jungen Köchen denen man sogar zusehn kann ... Alles Gute Gerdi Spengler beim 77. mit 3 Kindern u. Enkel.

We had the grilled Aubrac beef for two people. It was perfectly grilled (English) and also well and robustly seasoned. The vegetables were also excellent: potatoes, peppers, green asparagus, eggplant, and zucchini. Seasoned boldly, but not overly so. The service was also very attentive, but not intrusive. All the food and drinks were of very good quality. The ambiance is also very special. All of this comes at a price; you have to know if it's worth it. We think it's worth a visit.

A cozy restaurant with a great ambience and delicious dishes! We visited Werft1919 in Kressbronn and were completely thrilled. As soon as you enter the restaurant, you notice the stylish, modern design, which is warm and inviting at the same time. The large window front provides plenty of light and a pleasant atmosphere. The menu offers a great selection of dishes combining both traditional and modern elements. We tried the burger and the fish dish - both were excellent. We were particularly impressed by the fresh preparation and the quality of the ingredients. Everything tasted delicious and was seasoned perfectly. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Our waitress was very helpful and had good recommendations for us. We found it particularly nice that the restaurant also offers a takeaway service - ideal for a quick but high-quality meal at home. Overall, an absolutely recommendable restaurant for a relaxed evening with delicious food in beautiful surroundings. We'll definitely be back!

I visited the kiosk twice. It took forever both times, even though I only bought a cappuccino and ice cream and there was no one there except me. A 1 euro surcharge for oat milk is outrageous - in my opinion.

Simply awesome, the big wide world in Kressbronn in the shipyard. Seeing Switzerland from here is a surprise.

A warm welcome, unobtrusive and attentive service, who offered excellent wine recommendations and were simply fantastic in every way. The food was magnificent. These chefs clearly understand their craft and human sensory perception. However, if you're looking for an XXL schnitzel farm, you've come to the wrong place. Portion sizes were ample, and the emphasis here is on quality with finesse. The food is prepared – perhaps not consistently (?) – but primarily regionally, seasonally, and organically. And if the fish isn't from Lake Constance, you'll be informed beforehand without being asked. Add to that this beautiful location with its industrial "loft" design, right on the water. Anyone complaining about the fair prices really hasn't understood anything. Thanks for a great evening!

Unfortunately very overpriced. We had saddle of venison, some very good vegetables and potato/pear fritters with a very good jus - but €38 is an announcement. The absolute disappointment was the dessert, the wild berry tart (see picture 5/5 by Mr. Steven Sujoto) costs €18!!! A scoop of ice cream with the “little taste of jelly on a shortcrust pastry base” for my wife, I myself had grandma's apple cake, also a scoop of ice cream with a small apple pancake about 10cm in diameter for €14!!! That's cheeky. You pay 50% for the great location and the ambience.

Main course was expensive but very good. Dessert was unacceptable.

We really loved our time on Valentin’s Day there. The service was exceptional and the food was also very good. The atmosphere there was great and we enjoyed every second. We will definitely be back if we’re in the area.

The starter was really tasty, and I also loved the roast pork - simply fantastic! The dessert also tasted good. Unfortunately the eel was a bit too intense for our taste, but that is of course subjective. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating. Overall a very pleasant experience!”

The shipyard offers great food that is creatively, sustainably, regionally and tastefully prepared and created. The menu always changes depending on the season and there are always vegetarian or vegan options. The atmosphere as well as the prices are at an upscale level, which corresponds to the holistic cuisine.

We had a lot of fun curling with the family including children. The food from the food truck was delicious and the service at the kiosk was very friendly and helpful. We'd love to come back.

A place that combines the modern with the traditional, practically an old warehouse or shipyard transformed into a restaurant with very particular dishes. It was a Hymer event dinner so everything was planned but I must say that it was comfortable and the view was wonderful.

We celebrated our wedding (free wedding) at Werft1919 last October. The shipyard team are absolute professionals. They think for themselves, are reliable and radiate calm and warmth. An open ear for every request or question is a given. We can also only rave about the food. In addition to the very good service and food, the location itself is of course very special and incredibly beautiful, not least because of its proximity to Lake Constance. An extremely successful overall package. A big thank you to the shipyard team 🩷.

As is often the case on vacation, my wife, our little Jack Russell and I were looking for a location in the evening and came across the 1919 shipyard. I'm not understating when I say it couldn't be better. The taste cannot be surpassed and is prepared with a lot of love and a very good eye, as we all know. The team worked very well together and the “good soul” of the house was a really nice guy who exuded incredible calm and professionalism. You felt like you were in really good hands from start to finish. You MUST have been here.

Food at the wedding was great. Really friendly stuff. Problem to find parking right in front of the building.

Full marks! Diesel Location is a dream. I was able to provide musical accompaniment to a wedding there. The shipyard is ideal for a free wedding ceremony with a special charm. The rooms are both modern, elegant and cozy. The owners run the shipyard in 1919 with attention to detail and very good cuisine. You can also eat very well here. The service is very warm and courteous and the technology on site is excellent. I'm already looking forward to the next wedding there.

Our experience in the shipyard was very mixed. At the end of the evening, the price-performance ratio was unfortunately not right for us. Maybe good weather and staying in the area with a direct lake view would have made the experience a little better. The food is of good quality, well crafted and tasted good, but unfortunately nothing more. We ate much better for a lot less money. Everything was done in a very “hip” way and the loud “music” was simply unbearable in our opinion. I generally have no problem with electronic music and in a bar we wouldn't have found it so disturbing. However, we just wanted to have a good meal and not visit a club or a cocktail bar. But that's how it seemed. It may be that hipsters like this kind of atmosphere, but unfortunately we don't. The food deserves four stars because of the regionality and craftsmanship, but because of the ambience I can personally only give it 3 stars overall. However, tastes and views vary greatly.

Were there for a wedding. Location is outstanding, view of the lake and the Alps. Services very attentive and friendly. Food, snacks, drinks, everything was great. Familiar, simple dishes but very tasty with good ingredients. Of course I can't say anything about the price, but as a guest 5/5 stars

Wir haben mit Freunden einen Geburtstag gefeiert. Es war alles perfekt. Zum Empfang die Longdrinks und die Tapas. Danach Vor-, Haupt- und Nachspeise. Das Essen, die Bedienung und das Ambiente waren stimmig und ausgezeichnet. Die Gastronomie Werft1919 ist allen zu empfehlen, die etwas besonderes erleben möchten.

In September I was at this location for the first time as a wedding photographer. Here is a short report on our experience as a service provider. The service was terrific. All the employees were friendly and I always had the feeling that everyone enjoyed their job and did it with joy. The location with the view is sensational. Especially the covered version with a view of Lake Constance is a dream. This means couples don't need a plan B if it rains. That's an absolute plus point! The food was sensational and on point! Really all the guests felt comfortable. I don't have any information about prices. As a photographer, the location also offers countless opportunities for couple shoots. This location is an absolute recommendation!

Very good food with excellent value for money. Very attentive service and a really great ambience rounded off an all-round lovely and successful evening. The view of the lake is particularly great. Absolutely recommended. For us it is by far the best restaurant in Kressbronn. :)

Great location, you sit very nicely, whether in the restaurant or on the loungers. We had dinner here. Starter was great, vegetable field 2.0 (oven vegetables) consisted mostly of peppers (a little sweet potato and zucchini) and was not well seasoned. We had to wait a long time for the food, but they apologized, but only because we had mentioned it. Panini in the kiosk are super delicious and it's great to sit right by the lake.

A few days ago I was able to marry a wedding couple in the beautiful 1919 shipyard. I was really looking forward to it and everything was just right there. The coordination with Julius and Johannes in advance was great, which I unfortunately know differently from other locations. The communication was great and uncomplicated. Everything about the outdoor wedding itself went wonderfully, from the seating to the renovation and technology. The shipyard is really something special, with the lake in the background, beautiful rooms with a very special character. Everything was very professional and quick, but with a lot of love and warmth. Thanks to the entire team - I'm really looking forward to being able to meet you again and wish you and the whole team all the best until then, have a good time and, above all, keep it up. Es ist ein nettes Ambiente ohne jede Frage, das Personal war nett. Wir besuchten dieses Restaurant bereits vor 2 Jahren während eines Aufenthalten in der Region. Für mein Empfinden kann in dieser Preisklasse erwarten, dass auf die Wünsche der Gäste eingegangen wird! Bei einem Preis von 35 Euro und man kann eine Beilage nicht austauschen bin ich gelinde gesagt etwas konsterniert. In Zeiten in denen es viele Probleme mit Allergien und Unverträglichkeiten gibt ist meine Erwartungshaltung in dieser Preisklasse ganz klar. Am Ende fanden wir das Essen OK, ich kann mir aber nicht vorstellen das dies der Anspruch sein kann.

Totally cool place. Very nicely prepared. You can feel the charm of the old Bodan shipyard and yet it is a nice place to relax and unwind.
