Great menu, great selection of local dishes. We couldn't decide what to eat. Definitely going again. Food was super delicious. Service was really great.

Food was simple but tasty and it came quickly which is good. Unfortunately, service is very unfriendly and individual requests for food are not possible. You don't feel welcome.

Way too much light, tables could be designed differently

Sensational cuisine, very tasty and a courteous staff. We can only recommend the buoy.

+ Food and prices excellent, only the salad was drowned in dressing (but it's more a matter of taste) + Nicely decorated restaurant but a bit cool - as a family with a two-year-old child, we didn't feel welcome, the waitresses ignored him and we were treated more politely than warmly - As soon as we were parking, the waitress came out and was preparing to reprimand us until she realized that we wanted to go into the restaurant

Nice restaurant with friendly service and good food at reasonable prices. We'd love to come back there. 😊

Das Essen war Mega leger , die Dame die unsere Bestellung aufnahm war auch sehr nett ,bis ich gesagt habe das ich zwei kleine Kritik Punkte habe DiePfeffermühle ist nicht so gut , war so ein billigheimer Teil,kommt nur fein gemalter Pfeffer ,darauf Sie die kann man unten einstellen also jeder hängt sein Finger darein . Nein möchte ich nicht. Ich sagte die Teller könnte man anwärmen, darauf Sie ,die sind angewärmt aber waren sie nicht sie waren eisenkalt. Schade das man auf eine kleine Kritik nicht angemessen reagiert. Sondern versucht alles weg zureden. Sehr Schade. Essen war trotzdem sehr lecker und empfehlenswert bis auf die Dame im Vordergrund.

Supergutes Essen, besonders der Fischteller und der Zwiebelrostbraten. Auch die Bedienung ist sehr nett. Können wir uneingeschränkt empfehlen!!!

Very nice, smaller, family-run restaurant in Kressbronn. It seems rather inconspicuous, but the menu is varied and the food is very tasty.

Lage nahe des Sees am Rande eines Wohngebiets. Sehr ansprechende Speisekarte, Essen in sehr guter Qualität. Freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service. Reservierung zumindest in der Saison empfohlen.

Super delicious food and great service

It is a small restaurant not far from the Lake Constance cycle path. The service ladies serve very quickly and attentively. The restaurant is nicely furnished and not overloaded with decorations, you feel comfortable there. The whole atmosphere is relaxed. The food was excellent, beautifully presented, portions were quite large. I ordered the "Boje Teller" with 4 types of fish, it was delicious. It is highly recommended, you have to reserve.

Die Boje wurde in den Rezensionen hoch gelobt, daher haben wir es ausprobiert. Ich bestellte ein Rumpsteak mit Kässpätzle medium. Das Fleisch war perfekt und die Käsespätzle hervorragend. Ich kann die Boje nur empfehlen

Service inside loudly made fun of the guests outside. Food was ok. Meat well seasoned and well fried (chicken strips on the salad plate). Salad dressing didn't work at all. When I asked, I was told that the homemade salad dressings were without vinegar and couldn't be too sour. Okay..... beets, carrots, cucumbers, potato salad so all canned goods. Almost impossible to eat inside, without air conditioning when it feels like 40 degrees. Service said it wasn't worth it for 8 to 10 summer days a year 🤔

The service was so unfriendly and rude, I would have liked to give zero stars. She made rude, inappropriate and condescending comments about the amount of food we ordered for the children. In general, I can advise against eating there with children. You feel so uncomfortable and not welcome at all. It's really rare to experience such cheeky service. The food was ok. Ambiance is very outdated, terrace uncomfortable.

We ate the tastiest food in the buoy during our Lake Constance vacation. And by far. All dishes were delicious, fresh and prepared with love. The portion size was just right - and ultimately so was the price-performance ratio. For food of this quality you are happy to pay a euro or two more. An absolute recommendation. But be careful: you should definitely prepare. There are only minimal deductions for the parking lot atmosphere in the outdoor area and one of the two service staff who was rather grumpy (but the second one was absolutely great).

The food was apparently fried too hot, some of the breading was burnt and the inside of the schnitzel was still tough and not cooked through. The fish had too much oil and was partly too salty due to the capers. The Schupfnudeln also burnt. Why we had to make a reservation and were rejected the day before, despite many free places, seems a mystery. Maybe the chef can't keep up.? Unfortunately the price does not correspond to the performance, deserves a maximum of 3 stars.

Man isst hier wirklich super, aber die Dame welche einem empfängt macht alles kaputt. Wir wurden noch nie in einem Restaurant so von oben herab behandelt. Eigentlich wollten wir noch einmal in der Boje essen gehen, aber das möchten wir uns nicht mehr antun. Schade eigentlich.

We were there today as a family of four and were politely assigned a table straight away, even without a reservation. The drinks served were wonderfully cool and the food was served at the same time, excellently prepared (and very plentiful) on pre-heated plates. We would like to come again!

Very good restaurant. the menu is varied, the products are of good quality and very well cooked. The setting and decoration are very pretty and the service top! Be careful, they do not take foreign bank cards! I recommend!!

I can recommend the restaurant 100%. The Swabian plate and the lumberjack cordon bleu tasted excellent. The price-performance ratio is also right here.

Fabulous! Well-kept small restaurant in the immediate vicinity of the lake with its own parking spaces. It is located on a street that is in a 30 km/h zone and is very lovingly furnished for that reason. Service is unbeatably friendly, humorous and attentive and the waiting times are very short. The food is of fantastic quality and you can tell that the food is cooked here by a team that knows how to do it. The prices are surprisingly humane and absolutely justified. And yes, the portions are generous, but you can have leftovers packed away. Anyone traveling in Kressbronn and the surrounding area should definitely stop by here. It doesn't hurt to call and reserve in advance!

The portions are quite large, a size smaller would easily be enough. Since the food was so delicious, it is of course difficult to leave anything left 😁. Although the restaurant was very full, we were served very quickly and friendly. We'd love to come back.

The food was excellent, from starters to dessert

The restaurant was supposed to open at 5 p.m. At 4:30 p.m. there were more than 15 people at the door. You weren't allowed to reserve a table over the phone because there weren't enough staff and they couldn't predict how many guests they could serve. Two dishes (cordon bleu + schnitzel) were too salty. In general, the stay was not as relaxed as expected.

*delicious fish* we were lucky enough to be able to dine here twice. Because we were looking for a fish restaurant where we could get whitefish. In fact, we weren't disappointed and we were served delicious fish plates. The Kretzer is an absolute recommendation. The service was always friendly and even took care of us and our dwarf. Excellent!

A beautiful little restaurant with courteous and friendly service. The food is wonderful, the cheese spaetzle is a poem, the roast roast is on point. My wife's fish dish was also really tasty. Everything just fits here, great ambience, wonderful service and a chef who loves his work. We'll be back 😊 We were there again and it was delicious again and we'll be back tomorrow 😊😊

Voll leckeres Essen. Von aussen unscheinbar, aber Leute geht rein. Es lohnt sich garantiert.

Was soll ich sagen. Ein wunderschönes kleines Restaurant, sehr nette Mitarbeiter. Das Essen ein Traum. Ich hatte Fisch und mein Mann ein Holzfäller Cordon Bleu. Wir waren beide satt geworden. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Das einzige was blöd ist wenn man nicht vom Bidensee bzw Kressbronn kommt weiß man nicht das man da reservieren sollte vorher da man sonst keinen Platz bekommt.

Die Gerichte sind kreativ gestaltet und schmeckten alle sehr gut. Es gab eine große Auswahl, bei der für jeden etwas dabei ist. Die Wartezeit war auch sehr gering. Bei den Fischgerichten kann man auch das Gemüse und Beilagen selbst wählen. Auf dem Bild ist ein Zanderfilet für 18€ abgebildet.

Sehr leckere Speisen, große Portionen, freundliches Personal! Wir waren heute bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal dort! Nur zum empfehlen!

Ein sehr gemütliches Fleisch-und Fischrestaurant. Man fühlt sich wie an der Nord- oder Ostsee. Sehr netter Service, umfangreiche Karte. Hier findet jeder Besucher etwas.

Wir kamen mittags 1h vor Schließung. Wir fühlten uns etwas abgefertigt. Service war schon in der Pause😉 Essen war lecker. Ambiente für einen Mittagstisch ok.

Das Essen war wirklich lecker, und die Portionen riesig. Allerdings vermiesen einem die mürrisch dreinblickenden und schlecht gelaunten Servicedamen das gute Gefühl das man anfangs hatte. Eine der Damen hat sich doch glatt darüber beschwert, weil wir 2 leere Teller zusammengestellt haben, sie wären dann zu schwer 🙄 Gut essen kann ich auch anderswo, und die Damen sollten mal überlegen, wie sie mit Kunden umgehen.

Essen und Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut, jedoch wird diese Empfehlung durch das unfreundliche und freche Personal zunichte gemacht. Man fühlt sich nicht willkommen,, Personal eher gestresst. Kredtkarten werden wg. lapaler Kosten nicht akzeptiert, dies wird sehr in einem barschen Ton dem Gast an den Kopf geworfen.

Das Essen war fantastisch, herausragend sind die Fischgerichte. Der Service war sehr gut, die verschieden Fischgerichte wurden eindrucksvoll erklärt.

Vorab riefen wir an und fragten stellten unsere Anfrage ob Hunde im Gastraum genehmigt sind. Diese wurde entsprechend höflich und professionell beantwortet. Wir betraten das Restaurant über die Terrasse wo sich ein Ständer mit Desinfektionsmittel und einem deutlichen Schild mit der Aufforderung zum Warten befand. Hier wurden wir freundlich begrüßt mit "Sie haben angerufen mit dem Hund gell?!" Der uns zugewiesene Platz war perfekt, der Service sehr hundefreundlich und zu uns war man auch sehr nett. Alle Speisen waren gut gewürzt, hatten den passenden Garpunkt und waren frisch! Die Fleischqualität ist gut, die Zubereitung sehr gut. Die Portionsgröße ist wirklich üppig ausgefallen. Getränkeservice und Empfehlung waren passend. Salatdressing, Dip, Soßen und Marinaden sind sehr gut abgeschmeckt. Es wird wenig bis kaum auf Fertigprodukte zurückgegriffen. Die Betreiber des Restaurants sind mit gewissem Stolz bei der Arbeit und stehen voll hinter ihrem Essen. Kritik, die nicht von uns ausgeübt wurde, kann da schon mal persönlich genommen werden. Wir werden aber nicht das letzte Mal dort gegessen haben und freuen uns auf weitere Abende in der Boje.

Leckere frische Küche, einfach und regional zum guten Preis

Wir waren zum Abendessen hier. Hatten Glück, haben drinnen ohne Reservierung noch einen Tisch bekommen. Salatsoße superlecker, Felchen-Filet hatte ein paar Gräten, aber insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden mit der Wahl hier her zu kommen auf Empfehlung eines Einheimischen. Service war freundlich und hatte Humor: „Fisch hat Gräten“. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Wir haben am 17.07. 2023 in der Boje Fisch gegessen. Sowohl als Vorspeise die eigentlich ein Hauptgericht war und extra auf Wunsch verkleinert wurde. Wir wählten eine gemischte Fischplatte als Hauptgericht. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Die Qualität war top, und der Service freundlich und aufmerksam

Sehr gutes bodenständiges deutsches Restaurant mit schön viel Fischgerichten aber auch genug Alternativen. Leider wird draussen nicht reserviert, was uns eine der Kellnerin sehr zickig beigebracht hat. Soe war dann auch nicht mehr gut auf uns zu sprechen. Die anderen waren aber alle höflich und nett, daher absolut empfehlenswert👍

We went to this restaurant as we had just arrived from a long journey from Italy to a campsite only about a mile away and really wanted to find somewhere local and good to eat. My husband had found it on google and the reviews there were great and it was labelled as child friendly - we have a one year old. Unfortunately when we arrived we were given an unsuitable, uncomfortable high chair (we had to pad it out with muslin cloths and a cushion just so our baby could sit upright) and told there was no alternative. We are from the UK and speak very little German, but were very willing to try and to translate for ourselves and converse as much as we could but the staff were very unfriendly despite being efficient. Our son behaved as a one year old does with some noise and mess and we were made to feel uncomfortable about this. We ordered extra drinks during the main course which unfortunately took about 15 minutes to come, by which time we had finished our meals and our son was becoming restless. On receiving the bill and handing over my debit card we were told (as if we should know) that it was cash only. When we searched through our wallets we only had about half what was needed so the waitress disappeared to 'see what could be done'. She came back with a card machine and said she could 'do it but only this once'. I really wanted to tell her that there should be no concern as we definitely would NOT be returning. Aside from all of this the food was truly excellent. We had the fish soup to start, the steak and the local lake fish for main courses and they were wonderful. It's just a shame I hurried to eat it to get out of there.

While on a daytrip to Bodensee we needed a place for lunch. This place was close, looked ok and promising. And it delivered the promise, fish was fresh, local and tasty, service good and friendly. I would recommend to stop by here if you get hungry while bathing in Bodensee.
