We had breakfast today with 13 people, it was just great, the service was great, super friendly, very attentive but not intrusive at all. The buffet is completely sufficient and fresh, everything your heart desires. All I can say is thank you to the great girls and this great, quiet location, it's like being at home in the living room. We would love to come back.
A nice restaurant which is open only for 4 months in a year, typically during wineyard harvesting time and when they prepare the new wine. I was lucky to be in Germany during this time and went for a dinner with colleagues from Bosch. Must taste the new wine (Neuer wine). They come in 2 types - one which is sweet and the other one sour. You can get the samples for taste.
Food is mainly non-vegetarian and myself being a vegetarian, tried Flammkuchen (asked them to exclude the meat from toppings) which was really good.
Place was crowded as all the tables were booked yet the atmosphere was good.
Reach early to get the parking in front of the restaurant or you will need to park on the nearby streets.
Highly recommended restaurant. Reservations are recommended and sometimes even required. The menu is small but fine, and offers very good German-bourgeois cuisine. In my personal opinion, you can also find the best French fries in the Ahr Valley here.
Absolutely recommended for quick hunger | Small but cozy Greek fast food restaurant with all classic dishes, but also with modern "street food" variants Delicious food at moderate prices | Friendly service | I give you an extra point for the free ouzo
