Beautiful Bergisch restaurant on the edge of Wuppertal. The food was delicious and the service was very friendly. Decorated seasonally. Budgies in the entrance area that made a lot of noise. Many dishes on the menu are in Low German. Funny for people who don't know Platt.

Wir waren Überrascht eine so Hundefreundliche Gaststätte zu finden. Die Bedienung brachte sofort einen Napf mit Wasser und eine Decke zum drauflegen! Und auch die Waffeln waren Top!

The Petersberger Hof is an institution in Veedel. In summer, the beer garden invites you to linger for a long time, but the guest room is also comfortably designed. A really quaint pub. There is good wine here and of course Kölsch. The food is good too.

Our reservation had not been registered - we were kindly allowed to stay. We were assigned the worst table even though some of the better-located tables were not occupied the entire evening. Despite the botched reservation, the cellar did not provide friendly service. We were not offered an aperitif or wine with our meal. So we enjoyed the goose and the sauerbraten with a bottle of still water. The food was good, but the side dishes were very small. We didn't ask whether we liked the food when we covered the dishes - rude! Dessert or coffee was also no longer offered. All in all, the price for the goose and the soup is not justified. Basically, I expect impeccable service every time I visit a restaurant - regardless of the price segment! At 45.50 euros for a main course, I expect high-quality service for the high price.

At 8:35 p.m. the waiter came to remind us that our restaurant would close at 9 p.m. He then went to the bar and said to another colleague; Since 19 These two Chinese guests sit the whole time Bla Bla Bla! We were very embarrassed. I don't know if that's racist? whether we as Chinese guests are sitting here and can't talk, or did he want to finish work early?

The food was really excellent and we loved it. Unfortunately the service was not at the same level. The service was inattentive. What was particularly disappointing was that the calculation was incorrect. After further inquiry it was corrected, but such an oversight leaves a bad impression. It's a shame, because the great food deserved better service.

I found the atmosphere appealing. The service was quick and polite. I enjoyed the food, but the portion of goulash was unusually small for the price of €19.90. Because of the price-performance ratio offered, I don't want to come back to eat again.
