Very nice and hard-working hosts. The food was great and plentiful, especially the breakfast 👍

At least Europe lives here! Due to Corona, consumption is not permitted in the café 30m away in Belgium. But the cuisine selection is phenomenal. The weather didn't invite us to sit outside on the motorcycle. But what happened then: the waitress offered to get the cake here and then walk 30m to the hotel on the German side, order a coffee there and enjoy it comfortably. She called the hotel and we were expected in the restaurant, greeted warmly and served. My trust in Europe suffered greatly during the Corona pandemic (border closures) and because of the distribution of refugees. But at least on a very small scale it works! 5 stars are not enough!

Very clean rooms, very good food and nice people.

A beautiful traditional country inn with friendly and very attentive service. Very tasty and plentiful food, soup and dessert are always included. Here we still cook our own food, without bags or glutamate... Prices are really reasonable.

Welcoming hotel run by a friendly family. We stayed 3 nights with breakfast and dinner. The breakfast was extensive with a fried egg every morning, plenty of cheese, cold cuts and homemade jam. The dinners were varied and there was plenty of it. There is an extensive range of beer, including the Landbier. We felt very welcome for three days and look back on our stay with pleasure. This hotel is recommended for people who find quality and hospitality more important than superficial appearance. The adjacent Ars Krippa and the Ars Figura are also highly recommended. Especially in the second exhibition one can see that the Balter family plays an important role in the region.

So, a country inn. Time has stood still. But dad's food: great. Good home cooking. Service super attentive. That's what you want in many a modern restaurant.

Ik was er voor een Motorweekend in de Eifel .Motors staan in garage Klassiek hotel heel lieve zorgzame mensen. Goeie bedden en alles keurig schoon. Aanrader! Lekker 4 gangen diner en perfect ontbijt.

Très bon restaurant, cuisine régionale, la carte est en allemand mais le patron, très sympa, se charge de vous l'expliquer. On y mange très bien et sans façons. Une mention particulière pour l'accueil et le service. Qui a osé prétendre que les allemands n'ont pas d'humour ? L'établissement est aussi un hôtel. A recommander pour la visite des expositions Ars Krippana, Technica et autres du site. L'addition en plus est légère !
