After the great llama and alpaca hike in the Eifel National Park with Julia from the Eifel Lamas, we were of course very hungry. Before the hike, we looked for a suitable restaurant in the area and quickly came across Grenzlandstuben on the internet. We are thrilled with the restaurant. It is a family business run by four fantastic women - very committed, nice and with a lot of humor. The rooms are very comfortable and tastefully decorated, everything was super clean and the food including dessert was very delicious. A 100% recommendation. We will definitely come back and would love to if we are in the area.

Friendly but steak was full of tendons. I'm sorry to the waitress, but you're not in the flesh. I could have at least bought a schnapps and nothing came of it. We're not going there anymore

I would like to give this 6 stars. Everything was excellent. The service is extremely friendly and attentive. The food was very tasty and freshly prepared. Even the hollandaise sauce was homemade, which is not necessarily a given given these extremely fair prices. The ambience is very tastefully decorated with a clear line. Despite the large portions, you should still leave a little space for the excellent desserts. This was certainly not our last visit.

Super friendly service, very tasty food. There is a menu with starter, main course and dessert for just €26. The regular menu also offers something for every taste. A reservation is recommended if you want to eat comfortably. The ambience is also very attractive and modern. However, it can get quite loud when the place is full. Definitely worth a visit.

Kindly received in Dutch. However, it was almost full (reservations are really a must, but it also means that it is a good thing) but we were able to eat at the bar. And glad I did, because food was delicious. Oh and it should be noted that payment can only be made in cash. (But the ATM is a two-minute walk away, so luckily no problem if you don't have it with you 😅) Overall very good experience and will definitely return when I'm in the area again.

We were there for the first time yesterday... The steaks were huge and tender, The starter and the main course were really simply delicious, and the price-performance ratio was also right. Upon arrival, our dog was given water first, according to the motto "the animal first" which I personally found unbeatable and warm at 30 degrees. Is geen campingrestaurant meer maar gelegen aan een tentoonstellingsruimte in Hellenthal. Wordt uitgebaat door een Nederlandse famillie wat de communicatie wel gemakkelijk maakt :-) We hebben hier heel lekker gegeten en gedronken. Vriendelijke bediening en een aangename sfeer. Prijs/kwaliteit is het hier top !

Restaurant run by a family of four ladies. Mother in the kitchen, nothing is too crazy. Another mother in the ministry together with the daughters. 3 course menu for € 25.75. Main courses between 12 and 21 euros. More than worth it. Had a delicious meal there several times. Reservations recommended.

We ate there with 3 people in August and were pretty excited about what was on offer there. The restaurant is run entirely by a family and is characterized by a very warm and professional service. The menu is sufficiently large, but offers something for every taste. You can see that the operators have taken their experiences in different countries with them to the Eifel. All products are freshly cooked and homemade. Perhaps the only point that could be improved is the selection and quality of the wines. The price-performance ratio is excellent, for example a delicious 3-course menu costs 25.50 euros. If we lived nearby we would be regulars. Bravo!

Very nice restaurant with good vegetarian options. My partner has a serious allergy and the employees were very cooperative and flexible (a special sauce, dressing and they even offered to make a special dessert). The employees speak fluent Dutch, so that is very nice for people who speak little or no German. The menu is also larger than what is indicated on the website, because they have many seasonal dishes. Also very dog ​​friendly!

Super fijn onthaald. Heel vriendelijk! Onze honden mochten mee naar binnen (op voorhand aangevraagd) 3 gangen menu gegeten, heel lekker en zeker voldoende. Prijskwaliteit top!! Zeker een aanrader om te gaan eten.

A good restairand situated on the centre of the vilage. It has 3 set meny for 25 EUR. There are teables ousite to enjoy the nature. Very good velue for the money. Nice service and english speaking also. It has big own car parking.

Insgesamt war mein Besuch im Restaurant durchwachsen. Dem Nebenraum fehlte es leider an Gemütlichkeit, und die Wartezeit auf das Essen, trotz Ankündigung dieser, war deutlich zu lang. Enttäuschend fand ich das zu dick geschnittene Rinder-Carpaccio, welches zudem zu wenig gewürzt war. (Viel zu wenig Öl, Salz, Zitrone). Das positive Highlight meines Besuchs lag im gut zubereiteten Steak. Es wurde auf den Punkt genau zubereitet und hat meinen Geschmackserwartungen entsprochen. Ein konstanter hoher Standard in allen Gerichten könnte die Gesamterfahrung erheblich verbessern. Die Wartezeit, war trotz Ankündigung und aller Geduld, deutlich zu hoch. Das geht nicht.

Leider muss man als Gast festtellen das mann wiederholt schlecht bedient wird. Nach mehren versuchen als Gast wird mann eher als nervend behandelt. Wir werden als Ortsansässige das Lokal auf keinem empfehlen. Bitte neben Sie abstand von diesem unfreundlichen Personal!!!!! Hier nervt mann als zahlender Gast….

Service Super, Klasse und Freundliches Personal. Mutter und Tochter arbeiten auch tatsächlich ab und an in Symbiose. Holländer werden hier bevorzugt, soviel zur Thematik Grenzlandstuben. Die Küche hat komplett versagt und spricht lieber mit den Gästen/Bekannten vor der Türe, raucht, streichelt Hunde und kocht weiter. Nicht weiter zu empfehlen. Schade eigentlich, rundum haben uns hier nicht abgeholt gefühlt.

Hardwerkende mensen die je een simpele, doch voedzame maaltijd voorschotelen, er wordt goed opgelet en bediend.

Petite carte, qui est déjà un gage de cuisine et produits de qualités et on ne c'est pas tromper! 🤩 Gnocchis au gorgonzola et épinards frais pour nos dames, blanc de poulet sauce piri-piri pour le beau-fils et "schnitzel" maison à la crème de champignons (frais)... Le tout était d'une fraîcheur et d'une qualité irréprochable et je ne vous parle pas des goûts... une tuerie!😍👍 Une adresse incontournable d'Hellenthal.😉

Ganz tolles Lokal! Wir haben ganz spontan auf Durchfahrt nach einem Restaurant gesucht und ließen uns durch die positive Bewertung anlocken. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht! Super Essen, wundervolle Bedienung! Wir würden gerne wieder kommen, wenn wir nicht zwei Stunden entfernt leben würden…

Super nette Chefin und sehr aufmerksames Personal. Waren am Samstagabend dort, leider ohne Reservierung. Die Chefin hat dennoch kurzfristig einen Platz für uns einrichten können. Das Essen dort war 1A. Leider kommen wir nicht mehr in diese Gegend, können aber Allen dieses Lokal zu 100% empfehlen

Wir sind auf unserem Heimweg zufällig dort gelandet und haben zu Abend gegessen. Es war toll, super frisch und lecker. Alles ist sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Absolut empfehlenswert 😊
