Cozy atmosphere and delicious food. The service is somewhat inattentive and untrained. The drink prices are cheeky.

Absolutely recommended, awesome pub. Great and fast service, the food was extremely tasty and huge portions. We hadn't made a reservation but were able to spontaneously get a place for two people. Reservations should definitely be made, the great service made a lot of things possible, but at some point people had to be turned away. Our dog wasn't a problem either and was allowed to come along.

The two of us were at Eisenstein on New Year's Eve and had made reservations beforehand. We were greeted warmly and escorted to our table. In Eisenstein you eat within time slots. So we were told we had 2 hours and the table was occupied twice. After we had just taken a first look at the menu, we were already back at the table and ready to take our order. A business-like note about the “New Year’s Eve champagne offer” as well as explicitly about the pretty table decorations and the live music couldn’t be missed. Once again we were reminded of the time slot provided to us. Well, we would have liked to have enjoyed a lot more of the delicious dishes, including a starter if necessary and a dessert after the main course. But since life shouldn't be a race, especially not when it comes to dining, we only ordered two pizzas and drinks. However, the pizzas were, as always, delicious. Unfortunately, the knives were very blunt and the tablecloth was conveniently made of paper. The bill came to around 55 EUR. When we were brought the bill, we were again praised effusively about how quickly we had eaten. There is still so much time! Maybe another coffee? Since we didn't want to be a "burden" to anyone, we decided to end our visit to the restaurant after this very special experience. Conclusion: Time slots are not sexy and Hamburg is not New York either.
