Der Auftritt bei OpenTable , Bilder und Eindruck bestätigen sich nicht mit der Situation vor Ort . Leider waren wir absolut enttäuscht. Es startete mit einem wässrigen Chardonnay. Einem ausgekochten halben Hummer . Ohne Scherenfleisch. Matschiger Spargel und rohe Trüffelpommes. Der Service ignorierte unser Unwohlsein vollständig. Wir bekommen eine saftige Rechnung und verließen das Restaurant . Nie wieder

Wir möchten hier ein feines Restaurant mit kleinerer Karte mit sehr köstlichen, raffiniert zubereiteten Speisen empfehlen. Das Ambiente und der Service war exzellent. Es waren eine kleine Gruppe an Bar, die sehr laut waren. Die Bedienung war proaktiv und hat sie höflich um etwas ruhigere Unterhaltung gebeten. Vielen Dank dafür!

Es war ein hervorragendes Essen. Sehr delikat und von der Menge ideal. Nicht überladen aber auch nicht mikrig gerade richte. Der Service war unglaublich. Es ist nicht preiswert, aber es ist auf jeden Fall das Geld wert. Die Stimmung war sehr angenehm. 

Nette location, nette Bedienung aber das Essen war wirklich nicht sein Geld wert. Wir haben 43EUR für ein sehr kleines Stück Wild von mittlerer Qualität bezahlt und die Beilagen und die Sauce passten so gar nicht zu dem Fleisch und auch nicht zu einander. Eigentlich passte nichts so richtig zusammen und wir waren recht enttäuscht.

Wir waren nicht zum ersten Mal im Tim‘s, wurden wieder sehr freundlich empfangen, Service & Ambiente gewohnt gut, das Essen war ausgezeichnet … ABER: Dieses Mal duddelte das Radio viel zu laut im Hintergrund, & nichts gegen NDR 2, Rock & Pop o.ä., aber bitte nicht in einem Speiserestaurant auf diesem Niveau als penetrantes, lautesHintergrundgeräusch, das wir in unseren Tischgesprächen nicht ausblenden konnten … sehr schade (und unsere Anmerkung an den Service änderte auch nichts), sind nach dem Menü dann auch schnell gegangen. Wir bedauern diese konzeptionelle Veränderung im Tim’s sehr, denn so, mit lautem „Imbiß-Buden-Radiogedudel“, kommt es für uns so nicht mehr in die Auswahl.

This time, five of us were at a business dinner. My request to dine on the terrace was granted, with the recommendation that we could have our first drink outside, which was also wonderful, including the sunset at the harbor on the Elbe River in Hamburg. However, we were advised to move indoors for dinner. The dishes and especially the wine service were excellent and tailored to the diverse needs of our business partners. Thank you so much for that! The atmosphere in the large interior is architecturally designed to be very pleasant, providing a soundscape for great, loud, and entertaining conversations. A superb business evening. We were at TIms with business partners four weeks ago, and it was just as good again! Thank you!

Excellent cuisine and a very chic ambiance. Given the rather high prices for the food, I was a bit apprehensive, but the quality and taste of all the dishes exceeded my expectations. Both the grilled octopus and the limoncello tiramisu had a wow effect like I haven't experienced in a long time.

Wir waren zu viert an einem Samstag bei Tim’s, ein schönes gemütliches Ambiente. Etwas dunkel, dafür hat man dann eine sehr schöne Aussicht auf die Elbe / Schiffe. Leider war der Service für dieses Preisniveau nicht zufriedenstellend. Unser Kellner konnte uns zu den wenigen Speisen die es dort gibt keine Fragen beantworten, musste sich immer erst erkundigen. Vorspeisen waren nicht so wie erwartet , der Lachs sehr frisch aber neutral ohne Geschmacks Überraschung , Brot zur Suppe verbrannt , das Brot was es vorweg gab war angetrocknet und nicht frisch geschnitten. Hauptgerichte waren sehr gut und geschmacklich toll abgestimmt. Nachspeise hatten wir nicht. Krönung zum Abschluss ich hatte einen Gutschein zum einlösen der verrechnet werden sollte, dann kam eine kurze genervte Reaktion vom Kellner, wieder wurde Hilfe zum Abrechnen an der Kasse hinzugezogen. Das ist ja nicht das Problem , kann passieren. Aber dann kam der Kellner nochmal an unserem Tisch, er hatte einen anderen Tisch abgerechnet und musste nochmal abkassieren, aber das Kartenlesegerät funktionierte nicht mehr, zum Glück hatte ich noch Bargeld dabei. Nach all dem gab’s dann einen aufs Haus an der Bar, das haben wir dann auch dankend angenommen um irgendwie noch gut gelaunt weiterzuziehen. Da Tim‘s Restaurant ein höheres Preisniveau aufruft sind unsere Erwartungen leider enttäuscht worden, schade

A dream location with one of the most beautiful views of the Elbe! Where can you sit closer? A relaxed atmosphere with first-class, cheerful, and professional service, and the cuisine is second to none. Creative, perfectly balanced, and unpretentiously delicious! Unreservedly recommended!

Truly delicious food, and several waiters to ensure your physical well-being. The prices are high, but justified by the quality of the food. The entrance is not wheelchair accessible due to a step at the entrance; we had to bring a ramp. I find it very sad that Tim's Restaurant hasn't installed a ramp to make it wheelchair accessible. I don't know why the wheelchair symbol (not crossed out) appears under the name on Google Maps. The Info tab also states that there is an accessible entrance, which, as already mentioned, is incorrect. Despite editing the information, it hasn't been changed. It's a real shame, or rather, not inclusive.

We were there one weekday evening. I found it to be a solid restaurant without any highlights. The food was appealing, the service was friendly, and the German was at times rather poor. The view of the Elbe and the harbor was lovely, but the crowd was very small. The price was just about right for what was on offer. I won't be going back, though; there are countless more exciting restaurants with better value for money in Hamburg.

We had a very nice evening at Tim's. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the service (Miguel) is very attentive, friendly, and funny. The food is good. We'd be happy to come back.

This time, we didn't discover the restaurant by chance; we followed a clear recommendation...and were ultimately delighted. The waterfront location and the restaurant's ambiance were all top-notch. Very attentive, unobtrusive service. Everything was surpassed only by the taste experience. We followed the recommendations of Maitre de Cuisine Philipp Stapel and were completely won over. Tim's Restaurant at Hamburg Harbor is an absolute must-visit on any trip to Hamburg. Here, you can feel the touch of a Michelin-starred restaurant, all at an acceptable price-performance ratio. Draußen sehr schöne Athmospäre, toller Blick auf den Hafen, die Glasscheiben zum Kai schaffen das richtige Maß an Privatsphäre. Kleine, aber sehr interessante Karte. Alle unsere Gerichte waren ausgezeichnet zubereitet und angerichtet, Erwartung übertroffen. Preise absolut gerechtfertigt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

I went there for lunch today and had the cod. The food was really good and the portion size was very reasonable. The view of the harbor creates a lovely ambiance. I highly recommend it and will be back.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Tim's today. The service was excellent. The table was decorated appropriately for the occasion at my husband's request. We had the Elbe View menu and were thrilled. The very modern and wonderful interpretation of the farmer's breakfast deserves special mention. Terrible value for money. Everything is mediocre and the prices are very high. For example: An appetizer consisting of four small carrots with a little sauce for 18 euros. The bread served beforehand was rock hard. The dip that came with it had no flavor at all. The wines that accompany the meal aren't poured at the table. If you ask about the grape variety, you're met with questioning faces... A shop of swindlers, touts, and con artists. We'll never be back.

The two of us were there on Sunday to enjoy an early dinner with a great view of the Elbe. The AIDA cruise ship was just leaving. You couldn't have imagined a more harbor-like atmosphere! The food was very good, with a great combination of new ideas for familiar dishes (e.g., a farmer's breakfast with an innovative twist). The food was very good, and the wine selection left nothing to be desired! Very friendly service, we'll be back!

We chose the restaurant based on the chef's engaging YouTube video. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to our expectations. Very high prices for small portions. The reception was very friendly, but the young, sturdy waiter should work on his manners and be more respectful towards guests over 50.

We made an online reservation and got a great table right on the Elbe River. It was truly a perfect evening – the service was super friendly and explained the dishes, the food was creative and delicious, there was a nice wine selection with big names (but also smaller wineries are represented), and the ambiance on the terrace, as well as inside, is unparalleled in Hamburg. What really impressed us was the good value for money. We are thrilled and would love to come back! Many thanks to the entire team and the friendly host.

Ich war leider super enttäuscht. Es ist natürlich eine waschechte Premiumlocation, direkt an der Elbe, toll eingerichtet……..ABER: Das Essen war leider nicht gut. 3 Vorspeisen bestellt zum Teilen, das ein Tatar und eine Ceviche kalt sind, ist mir klar, aber halb gefroren? Hmmm. Die Veggi-Vorspeise, gegrillte Urmöhren ebenfalls am Gefrierpunkt? Hmmmmm. Nun gut, ganz grenzwertig wurde es dann mit der Rinderschulter für knapp €40 , sorry ich weiß nicht was ich dazu sagen soll 😳😳😳😳😳😳. Ernsthaft, einen Klacks Rindergulasch in einen Anrichtering pressen, 3 Stangen grünen Spargel dazu …………. Hmmmmmmmm. Nein, das war nicht gut. Finde ich wirklich superschade, der Laden hätte Potential.

Two of us went to Tim's Restaurant and we'll never go back. We had a celebration, and the restaurant was informed. It was nice that we got our table right away, even though we were early. The ambiance was immediately very nice, and the table was also beautifully set. We had a table one evening at the beginning of the week, and it was moderately busy. But then it quickly became uncomfortable. The waiter had a very strong underarm smell, but he enjoyed flailing around with his arms while serving the dishes. He used informal language wherever he could, not realizing that we didn't want that. When we changed the wines, he placed the exchanged glasses on the shelf at the corner of the table and didn't clear them away. We had to ask another waiter to do it. The wines weren't particularly select; most weren't available at all, or were simply due to a change; you could only choose between two types of wine by the glass. In a restaurant like this, we naturally expect refined slow food. Instead, we were treated like this: We'd just finished our aperitif when the starter was served to us. We'd barely finished it when our plates were snatched away and the intermediate course was served, all while the waiter was sweating profusely. Meanwhile, the table next to us also complained about the quality of the food, saying they expected something different. When we said we'd like the next course served at a slower pace, the service went to the other extreme: In the meantime, a group of eight people had arrived at the restaurant, which was already sparsely attended that evening, and we had to wait over 45 minutes for our main course. The reason given was that the tour group had been given priority at our request. Finally, to celebrate the day, there was a sweet greeting from the kitchen, but unfortunately, it didn't make up for what we'd experienced earlier. Finally, the bill was also incorrect – to our detriment, of course – and we didn't leave a tip, which was then met with a completely unreflective "That's fine too." No questions asked about what was wrong, etc. At the beginning of the evening, we even considered having a cocktail there to celebrate the occasion, as the bar is very well-stocked, but after the whole experience, we declined. From our point of view, this is clearly a no-go in Hamburg.

We had a wonderful evening with the delicious 4-course menu. Each course was so delicious that we would eat the same thing again anytime. The service was excellent, everyone was friendly, and we were completely impressed by this restaurant. Between courses, we could decide for ourselves whether we wanted to continue or if we needed a break. All the service staff were very attentive. This time we booked through Hidden Table and thus decided on the menu in advance, but a quick look at the menu convinced us to go that way next time. Tim's Restaurant will definitely be on our list of restaurants to visit during our visits to Hamburg. Thanks for the pleasant evening! P.S. And the view of the water is a bonus!

Guter Service, tolle Rouille zur Vorspeise. Spargel mit Avocado eher langweilig. Eventuell die Tomatenessenz etwas mehr andicken, damit sie sich besser um den Spargel legt (Xanthan). Pasta im Hauptgang /über/kocht, Salsiccia /ge/kocht - nicht gebraten. Eher nur das Brät nutzen. Käse 23€ - WOW für die Qualität - einfach zu teuer. Guter Wein, gute Aussicht.

The price/performance ratio isn't right at all. The service was unfortunately incompetent, and the "Ur-Karotte" appetizer was way overpriced at €18.

Wir hatten die diesjährige Aktion des Abendblatt Lieblingsmenüs mitgemacht und uns für Tims Restaurant entschieden. Bekannt war uns die location noch als La Vela. Die Bestuhlung in diesem sehr großen Raum ist für unsere Begriffe zu eng und erinnert fast an ein französisches Bistro. Wir hatten für 18:00 reserviert und bekamen einen zweier Tisch am äußersten Rand an der Aussentür. Es blieb weitgehend leer und deshalb ist es umso unverständlicher, dass ein anderes Paar, das auch das Lieblingsmenue gewählt hatte, 50 cm neben uns platziert wurde. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist ok, die Speisen sind von herausragender Qualität, obwohl recht übersichtlich, der Service etwas steif und der Wein wird doch reichlich spärlich eingeschenkt.

We can't agree with the negative review at all and are somewhat appalled by the verdict. A wonderfully attentive and always courteous service team presented us with the 5-course dream menu professionally and with personal charm. From a warm welcome from the very beginning to the delicious culinary delights until the very end, it was a perfect evening. Come and experience it for yourself. It's definitely worth it. We became aware of this through the favorite menu and will certainly not be the last time we'll be here. Thanks to everyone.

The food was delicious but the portions were too small for the price. We were still very hungry after the starter and main course. We went elsewhere for dessert because we didn't like the service at all. They were very pushy, didn't give us any time between courses even though we asked, and were even a bit condescending to the young women at our table. All in all, it was too expensive for what was on offer, and we recommend going elsewhere.

Das Essen war mangelhaft - die Getränke Spritz leider auch. Es wurden uns aber vom Restaurant nur die Getränke berechnet - das war fair. Das Essen ging zurück. Wir kommen nicht wieder.

Die servierten Gerichte waren quantitativ derartig übersichtlich, dass wir unseren Augen nicht trauten. Da stimmt der geforderte Preis überhaupt nicht.

Food was okay. Service maybe the worst in Hamburg. They insist on providing wine service themselves, so the bottle isn’t left at the table — yet the wine glass stays empty for half the evening. It seems like they’re not really interested in selling wine. Even after telling them several times on the spot nothing changed. Service very arrogant.

The food, interior, and ambiance of the restaurant were fantastic, creative, and elegant. It's a shame that the high standards of cuisine and architecture are met with such poor customer service. With 3-4 tables initially occupied, all seemingly uncomplicated, the two men in charge of the entire restaurant seemed irritated, performing their duties correctly but grumpily. Midlife crisis? Language barrier? Poor pay? In any case, we didn't feel welcome; it was certainly our first and last time there.

A few days ago, I was here with a friend. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather. We shared a "Two Kinds of Sorbet," and it was a real treat! Very, very tasty! The service was friendly and attentive. Since the wind was blowing briskly around the corner, we were given cozy blankets. After a long walk along the Elbe, a stop at Tim's Restaurant is a perfect end to the day. I highly recommend it. And I'm looking forward to the next time.

Service, food, drinks, viewing top

Mediocre experience. Service outright bad. Food okay, but not impressive. Business dinner of 8 persons, drinks, starter, main course and wine. After having waited a long time for starters, it took another 1,5hour to get the main courses, and then they had forgotten one. 7 mains for a party of 8 didn't trigger anything...waited another 15min on the missing main. No apologies or anything during payment and I decided not to give any extra tips - which made the waiter annoyed and directly blaming me I did not pay up. Had expected more based on the reviews, now Tim's has been tried but will not recommend the place.

It's possible that I'm already a little drunk, but you have to try Tim's. We were here for the Hamburger Abendblatt's Favorite Menu campaign and it was incredible value for money. A 5-course menu with (generous) wine accompaniment. I don't want to go into too much detail, but the 65 degree organic egg farmer's breakfast was worth highlighting. We found it outstanding in terms of interpretation and quality. The service was exceptionally friendly, which is often underestimated when it comes to a nice meal.

Leider waren wir heute mit dem männlichen Service nicht zufrieden. Er war freundlich, aber es dauerte alles zu lang. Der Bezahlvorgang hat ihn sehr überfordert und wir mussten lange warten. Er meinte, das läge daran, dass die Kasse zu langsam sei. Das Essen war wie immer köstlich. Und wir mögen das Restaurant sehr.

Nach einem Spaziergang an der Elbe sind wir zufällig im Tim`s gelandet. Sehr schöne Einrichtung, netter, unaufdringlicher Service, auch zu einem kleinen Klönschnack bereit. Aus der Mittagskarte Pannfisch und Club Sandwich: sehr lecker. Wir kommen mit Sicherheit bald wieder!
