The Kardinal Schulte Haus in Bergisch Gladbach is a real highlight for me and definitely belongs in my personal top 5 hotels. As someone who travels a lot for work, I know what's important - and this hotel impresses in every respect. The rooms are modernly furnished, absolutely clean and offer well-thought-out comfort. With a bit of luck, you can even enjoy an impressive view of the Cologne skyline, which makes your stay even more unforgettable. The service is friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The hotel's own restaurant also deserves a special mention: the food is excellent and the ambience rounds off the culinary experience perfectly. Another plus point is the good accessibility and the sufficient number of parking spaces, which is particularly ideal for business travelers and drivers. The hotel is also designed to be barrier-free, which enables people with limited mobility to have an uncomplicated stay - an important and commendable aspect. For me, the Kardinal Schulte House is a clear recommendation, be it for business trips, private breaks or events. Everything is just right here – from the amenities to the location to the service. I'll definitely be back!

Great tarte flambée variations, nice staff.

I was there again yesterday and was unfortunately disappointed. Long waiting times are reasonable if the food is impressive, but that wasn't the case yesterday either. A lively and happy atmosphere can certainly increase the enjoyment of the meal, but noisy, testosterone-saturated guests who are not put in their place for a long time, Cologne carnival music in an Alsatian restaurant and unambitious service make another visit unlikely for me. It's a shame, because I once felt very comfortable there.
