Very nice atmosphere. We enjoyed the food very much. The service was also good. We'd love to come back next time we're in Rüdesheim.

Since my trip to Japan, I've been a big fan of Japanese cuisine, and especially ramen. Here at Sorihashiya I was completely amazed by both the food and the ambience. At the small table you can choose from small appetizers as well as delicious ramen. For starters we had vegetarian gyoza and kimchi. Both starters really tasted sensational and were the perfect starter. For the main course I ordered the classic ramen, which is characterized by a thick broth (chicken base). The ramen broth tasted very rich and was really outstanding overall. The egg, pork and noodles were also outstanding. Overall I was really very satisfied. Please note: 1. I would definitely make a reservation. This can easily be done via Google. It gets relatively crowded here, especially in the evenings and even during the week. 2. Tables are intended for one hour. After this hour, the waitress kindly reminds you to come to the end. I also experienced this in Japan and I can completely understand it for a store of this size. If you're looking for long evenings where you can stay late, you might want to look elsewhere. As I said, I think it's absolutely justified, and given the speed at which the food is on the table, an hour is more than enough time.

The food was delicious but they are forcing a line to build outside the restaurant although there are many seats empty inside :/

If you know of a 1 month absence for your restaurant, you do not stick a paper to your door the day before and make people walk up to that in disappointment like we're in the Middle Ages. You use gmaps and your website to announce it timely. Then you can gladly pin a paper to your door as soon as you know the dates as well. I was about to recommend this place widely. You can guess what happens now. Enjoy your recurring holiday.
